“If we had a daughter” hits hard with me for Snowfur. Her and Thistleclaw had only one kit, a son. Thinking if Whitekit had been she-cat, the look of “what would you have done..” on her face gives me chills.

I don’t really like acknowledging this kinda stuff, but I just gotta say it here. Thistleclaw was never abusive in any way to Snowfur, they had a wholesome relationship, and the Dark Forest manipulated him after her death.
FUCK the transition from Moth Flight at "Nymph then a virgin" to Leafpool at "nurse then a servant" was outstanding

@@lemonballs I think it's about Moth Flights hypocrisy about having kits as a medicine cat. She was very not understanding and aggressive towards Leafpool during the starclan trial, even though she did the same thing.

Its interesting how Ferncloud's scenes is seemingly more pointed towards the way fandom treats her seeing as she seems to be the only one here happy with the life she has
Especially if you take into account how Dustpelt did help as a father to raise their kits, since he spent quite some time at camp (if I'm not wrong, he was kind of a den builder?) unlike most toms in the books. I never understood the hate for her, she was one of my favourites :(

I never like how Moth Flight judge Leafpool so harshly over something that StarClan *specifically told her to do* and that also Moth Flight was in a similar, if not the almost same position that Leafpool was in. Both of them lost their mates only to find out they were pregnant afterwards, had to give up their kits in order to keep their role as a medicine cat, and both were very young at the time. You would think that she would have a little more sympathy for Leafpool over what happened, especially since it was StarClan itself that encouraged her to run off with Crowfeather and have her kits.

It was Spottedleaf who encouraged Leafpool to run off, and Yellowfang who told her to lie to ThunderClan, not StarClan as a whole. As evident with how Yellowfang was reprimanded for telling Jayfeather to make Cinderheart remember her life as Cinderheart, it's clear StarClan cats don't always agree on what to do. Leafpool's case was probably similar, which is why Yellowfang defended her during the trial.
As for Moth Flight, I never liked her. It might sound harsh, but she was just failing as a single mother and made it every other medicine cat's problem. Both Leafpool and Mudfur proved it's a bullshit law.
With the first part with snowfur and thistleclaw must have been a horrible moment when she noticed how horrible *her own mate* was. And the way she tries to protect mosskit is honestly kind of heartbreaking.

And during a video about woman with children, she talks how Snowfur wanted to be a mother being a opposite to Bluestar who didn't and wanted to so much that she would immediately hook up with thistleclaw and have a mate even causing herself to die by a car when going after shadowclan warriors.
@@evelynnjones5442she didn’t “hook up” with ThistleClaw, they did love each other, thisleclaw was just not an asshole to her when she was alive, and snowfur was sadly oblivious to the red flags. Her death was an accident, she was chasing them because she’s a loyal Clanmates (even though it was.. a bit stupid.)
I really like Heathertail’s inclusion in here, because she’s never really brought up when talking about struggles any character has gone through
I feel like Heathertail’s struggle wasn’t nearly as severe as most of the cats here because:
1. You are allowed to reject somebody. That’s not Lionpaw’s (blaze) fault. Squirrelflight rejected Ashfur. Cinderheart rejected Lionblaze (yes they go back together but at the time)
2. The romance was forbidden. Forbidden relationships usually lead to problems, that’s why they’re forbidden. Lionblaze was smart to reject her.
3. It was a teen romance, she’ll get over it.
@@Eastonthemoth All of these things are true, but I wasn’t ever talking about the severity of her struggles in relations to anyone else. I just mentioned that it was a struggle, no matter how small or big, or how long it lasted, it still happened and was mentioned here. I wish it was explored more in the books, but Lionblaze repeatedly has dreams of killing her and also almost kills Crowfeather before she stops him. And their relationship was already bad before that, with Lionblaze blaming her for WindClan’s use of the tunnels to invade ThunderClan when he later also uses them to steal herbs from WindClan which Heathertail catches him doing but allows him to go home with them because it’s medicine. I just think their relationship could’ve been really interesting if given more time, so to see any mention of it in a video like this caught my attention

I love Ferncloud’s part because, this is how I interpreted it, the “baby machine” is pointing towards how the fandom treats her rather than how Dustpelt treats her because they had a pretty loving and happy relationship (even though there was a moderate age gap).
And that he was her uncle, but incest is quite common in these books. Thank god for outsider cats actually mixing up the blood lines for once.
@@ameliorateepoch9917 the uncle thing is thankfully only an out of book retcon! :D i personally choose to ignore that, since he has no mentioned relatives in the books except for the family he has with Ferncloud.
Less related but even the questionable start to their relationship can be interpreted as one of the many weirdnesses in the first arc. I don’t think the authors considered how old Dustpelt was relative to then-apprentice Ferncloud at the time. It still doesn’t make it right, but it reflects more on the authors than characters in my opinion.

Soemthing to keep in mind when thinking about the age gaps of dustpelt and ferncloud! It’s not as big as most think, ash and fern were both apprenticed early, and then kept as apprentices way longer than they were supposed to be due to bluestars distrust, in reality, when fern and ash were born, dust would’ve been a very young apprentice, and when we were made aware of the idea of the relationship between the two, fern would actually have been the age of a young warrior, she just seems younger due to still being an apprentice, also, cats are kinda odd, human age and cat age don’t really go too hand in hand
The only age problem I’ve seen so far, is thistle and spotted, and that’s mainly cause thistle groomed her from a young age, he didn’t fall for her when she was warrior age, gross-

I'm so happy that you put Heathertail in this video. The way Lionblaze treated her was absolutely disgusting.
I love that you made Thistleclaw extra fluffy and "blocky", and over 2 times Spottedpaw's size to show the huge age gap and how major the gr**ming was.
The "24/7 Baby Maker" is also perfect for Ferncloud; I personally love her character but apparently lots of the fandom sees her as, well, a 24/7 baby machine.
The way you also showed how much pain Leafpool has gone through by cutting from teaching Jaypaw, her own son, to being almost poisoned by Hollyleaf, her daughter, to getting scolded by StarClan, even though they are the ones who told her to do what she thought was right is amazing!
In all, this is an awesome PMV and I will 100% be rewatching it a ton of times!

Squirrelflight raised them but they are biologically Leafpool’s, which is revealed in the books when Ashfur confronts Squirrelflight about her rejection of him during a forest fire. Not sure if you just have not read all the books but all you need to do is check the wiki and it’ll tell you that Leafpool is the mother (biologically) of Lion, Holly and Jay, though Squirrel is most definitely their adoptive mother!

That might be true as a young child you don't recognise the problems. Most of the time people talk about the gore of warrior cats (the kitting of silverstream, tigerstar's first death, swfitpaw mauled by dogs and so on)
The problems with she-cats is so overlooked and that's sad 9/10 times if we get an important she-cat with an interesting personality she falls in love and loses most of her personality and gets kittens that's it.
I love how this PMV shows that problem, I love the designs, the song choice, which lyrics with which cat.
I barely saw any comments on this, but how ashfur attacks squirrelflight is so beautiful. It shows how the she-cats are seen in the books (which also happens in real life sadly) they're seen as baby machines, kind-hearted and (from view of Ashfur) just a thing to 'claim'
Their is a kind of “sexism” in warrior cats that I literally can’t get past and this captures it beautifully.

This is FANTASTIC! I can’t get over your artwork, it’s so stunning. Honestly, realizing Snowfur had to witness her ex-mate literally coming onto an apprentice is horrifying and I can’t believe it’s basically canon. This gives me so much to think about in the best way possible.

GENUINELY,, I’m sorry I just can’t stand to think that Snowfur would sit by and do nothing while her mate groomed a child. He didn’t even come onto her as an apprentice,he was already doing it when she was barely out of the nursery (giving her the feathers and just clearly giving off bad vibes). Yes, which is why she originally wanted to be a medicine cat - she could still have a voice and help her clan but couldn't have kits/a mate.

I love how u included Hawkfrost and ivypool, they are often shipped and I absolutely hate it. Hawkfrost is much older than her and he used her, just as the end to this pmv shows.

this truly shows the struggle of the she-cats of the books and all that they go through. many of them have suffered so much from loss, abuse, gr00ming, their mates/kit’s actions, etc and it really shows it all. it’s almost always a male cat doing this besides mapleshade or some she-cat like that, yet toms get so much attention and love especially from the authors! give the she-cats their well deserved attention!
you could also argue that mapleshade was somewhat influenced by appledusk because he blamed her for the death of their kits
@@gavinsweeney3785 Well, it was more so an accidental death. Mapleshade didn’t need to cross the river and that ended with her kits deaths but she didn’t mean to do it.
Yeah, and even more so, Maple never gets the proper blame and shame for her actions that she does while characters like Ferncloud get reduced to just “baby maker” (as the animatic point out) when like, barely any of her kits actually made it to adulthood, she gets treated badly while an abusive murders jerk gets multiple apologizes. (not to say you can't like a villain you just can't excuse their actions, there is a huge line there but somehow thin at the same time)
TLDR: Maple does not deserve better like the fandom says, and characters like fern cloud deserve better treatment in the fandom.

Ashfur is just a whole other level, he was abusive and controlling . With Pinestar and Leopardfoot, that was even more disgusting, her having his kits then him leaving? Wow, disgusting, I believe Tigerclaw COULD have been a good father, but i equally think that Goldenflower was better off a single mother, Mothflight having kits when she was so young was poor writing. Bumblestripe was just a whole creep and i hate him so much, I hate Bramblestar, need i say more? Ivypool feeling guilt after Antpelts death was bitter sweet, yet i do love Hawkfrost, idk why but i just do. I feel so bad for Yellowfang, beng exiled by her own son after being convicted of murdering her younger siblings.. the treatment of Leafpool was so unfair, STC making her give away her kits then putting her on trial for it, hell, Yellowfang did the same! I have no idea what to say about the three except that their childhood was .. not the best nor the worst, same with Heathertail. I love how Snowfur drew her tail to stop her from going near Thistleclaw, afraid he might too, prey on her. That all i have to say about the characters! But oh my is you art STUNING! you drew the facial expressions so well! This video was a joy to watch and i will watch it oevr and over again!

The look of horror on Snowfurs face when she saw how bad Thistleclaw was, was terrifying. The way she was protecting Mosskit from him was heart breaking😢
KILLING IT AGAIN WITH YOUR PMVS!! The female characters in this series can be treated pretty horribly, both in the books and by the fans themselves. The fandom used to have a massive misogyny problem (and still kinda does). The part with Ferncloud and "baby machine" hit me hard because that's exactly what people called her, even though cats like Icewing, Snowbird, Skystar and Graystripe have had almost as many or even more kits than her-hell, APPLEDUSK had 6, just one less than her.
Also the beginning with Spottedpaw, Thistleclaw and Snowfur was really good. I love it when people show Snowfur as properly angry about it, and not because Thistleclaw "moved on", but because he was literally grooming a child. Snowfur wasn't the kind of cat to sit around and cry about stuff, there's no way in hell she would just let it happen if she could help it, regardless of her past relationship.
I LOVE THIS. SO MUCH. I hate how overlooked the she-cats of warrior cats are sometimes! They have the coolest backstories too! Also, I love the inclusion of Heathertail 😭
Ah, Leafpool, my gal, poor thing goes through so much. Just like all these she-cats. It makes me so sad that so many people overlook these things. But this video was amazing, the emotions were communicated beautifully.
This is such a heavy topic! And you tackled it so well. The authors are rather problematic, and heavily imply “Strong male” stereotypes. I find when we do get a “Strong female” character they always turn out to be some type of overly written, murderous type, adrenaline-driven or bloodthirst. Only to have them killed OFF.
If we could just have a she-cat character who isn’t thrown into the nursery as a mother, arcs down, doesn’t have any romance interest whatsoever, I’d be more enthralled with the series. But can we ever get anywhere with the authors? I’m not very sure.
Think of it.
We had Feathertail, she was a fair main character with a good plot! And played a major plot in TNP, but then they killed her off.
We had Hollyleaf, she was a really good-written character who could have had a purpose in future plots, she had served a huge purpose in the series! But then they killed her off? Right at the end of the whole Major Battle.
Then we have Dovewing and Ivypool, I don’t necessarily mind them having kits and mates, because I find them two and Fernsong and Tigerstar healthy and positive. But- they were sort of just cast aside just to be “doting parents”. Ivypool was such a fighter! And they completely took her personality away from her.
Now Sleekwhisker, I can’t stand the way she was written. I don’t like her as a character at all… to be fair she didn’t have much of a backstory so much either. But she randomly just disappeared? Never turned up again?
Needletail, she was brilliant! I loved her. She was a meaningful and purposeful character. I know her death sort of meant something for the Arc, for Violetpaw.
Bristlefrost - a major character who was well-written, and I adored her! But again. Killed off.
But it’s honestly so weird how it’s always the she-cats who are killed off?
Crowfeather, Brambleclaw(star), Stormfur are alive still from Arc 2, somehow. Tawnypelt and Squirrelflight to, but that’s not the point.
Arc 3, Lionblaze and Jayfeather are still alive.
It goes on? I don’t really want to start anything in the comment section, but it was just something what’s always irked me with the series. It’s like a loop?

"the authors are rather problematic" they are just writing down stories of what they think would happen. Literally every character gets killed off sometime in a book, not just the shecats. Cats have babies in real life, they are obviously going to follow their nature in WC, as it mixes fantasy with realism.
"can we ever get anywhere with the authors" the authors are not entitled to opinions of some feminist fans, they can write what they want to write. And some people do not have to read it. Not trying to start anything, but by acting like the authors are just supposed to be writing for the purpose of pleasing some fans, rather than doing something they enjoy, is just messed up.
Oh, man. This was absolutely stunning. So much of it was fantastic, but using the "all day, every day, therapist, mother, maid" flashing between Twigbranch/Finleap and Dovewing/Bumblestripe, two she-cats who were similarly pressured to start families when they didn't want to, is so powerful to me. Incredible job.

In all seriousness, the song fits so much. There is too much “weak molly going thru stuff with their mate”. The only example of a bad relationship with the female at the wrong was Rainflower, but Shellheart was seen as brave and heroic because he broke up immediately. i'vw watched this so many times, i love this so much. i love how when you included leopardfoot and pinestar, you made pinestar look much older due to how large their age gap was. i feel like not many people talk about how weird their relationship was
Dustpelt and Ferncloud had a great relationship though. She was happy being a queen and he was a great father. They loved each other very much and were content with the lives they had. No hate at all, the PMV looks amazing, just had to point it out
yes, this is why the "baby machine" was in air quotes. Is referring to the fact that Ferncloud is actually happy with being a queen, but the fandom often picks on her for that

I love how FernCould’s part is more pointed towards how the fandom treated her and less about how DustPelt did. DustPelt seemed to genuinely love and care about her in the books, while the fandom had treated her and cats like Daisy very poorly ( Daisy still receiving hate cause she is still not dead as of the first book in a starless clan )
I also quite love the gray in PineStar’s muzzle showing that he is much older then LeopardFoot ( cause like man’s is probably older enough to be her grandfather- Damn gonna love me some uncomfortable age gaps *cough* ThornBlossom *cough* )
Another thing I love is how you showed the age gaps between SpottedPaw( Leaf ) and ThistleClaw. Spotted being small and still fluffy looking like a kit, while Thistle is much bigger and more blocky looking.
This is fabulous~ I love how you represented how the female characters are treated nd ferncloud treated by fandom calling her "baby machine".
Though I just have one criticism. The Snowfur design is a bit too bright. Snowfur's anger couldn't be seen clearly because of the brightness.
Ok so I don’t read the books, but couldn’t her anger not being as visible here also show sign to her constantly being silenced, not being able to do anything about what shes witnessing seeing as she looks like a ghost. From a design point and being an artist myself I see what you mean but ig I just wanted to give a more poetic perspective :D if it doesn’t apply to her however that is completely ok too.

I absolutely love the inclusion of Goldenflower and her design! Shes one of my favorite characters and I feel like she's so overlooked!
I wasn't sure what I was going into...until i saw the first part with spotted. Now, if the writers still have the balls to say that spotted loved fire in canon (which they very much do even though its basically a retcon and a half) you can't tell me the reason that its the case is spotted's childhood. She didn't leave thistle because the age was wrong and she knew it was bad, she left for a different reason. She didn't learn it was a bad thing because no one tells anyone anything in these books. Her parents where goddam adderfang and swiftbreeze, the two biggest badasses in tc at the time (not counting blue and storm) they would have cleaned the floor with thistle. And Leopardfoot?! her older sister who is in this same video. and don't even get me started on thrushpelt, her mentor. spottedleaf's heart could have been a lesson, a change from the norms of warrior cat books and go into something much deeper and more likely to happen to the people reading, it could have shown us what to do. It could have been spotted going through confusion as thistle tells her to do things and her siblings don't do those same things, or her parents, older siblings, and mentor tell her not to. It could have been her becoming a med not to get away from fighting in hell, but getting away from thistle. It could have been her going to someone who she thought didn't judge her, featherwhisker, and finally telling someone, and realizing how much better she felt, and safer she felt. It could have been her growing up, seeing fire paw as a outcast and knowing the feeling, and doing her best to be not just a guide but a friend (just a friend dam it) so much so she continues into death, growing a protective older sister bond with him that she would have had with leopard. spotted leafs heart should have been a god dam novel on her whole life and it should have cleared up the "in love with fire" bs.

this is genuinely such an amazingly made pmv. the art is beautiful, the transitions, the way the lyrics are paired with charachters, and the fact that for once someone is actually noticing the struggles of female charachters in warrior cats.
the way snowfur is so angry and protective at the same time and the way she is shielding mosskit is just so well made. I also love that you included bumblestripe, not enough people realize that he’s almost as toxic as ashfur (without as much actual evilness and stuff). I literally watch this so often just because I love it so much

This is an absolutely beautiful pmv, and I think you illustrated so well the character’s struggles that were written in or even how the community treats them. You illustrated both the struggles of Twigbranch and Dovewing so well and their scene paired with the part of the song you timed for it really hit home. WHFKSDJFK THIS IS SO GOOD I was already so into it at the beginning with snowfur and thistleclaw but then it switched to goldenflower and tigerclaw and I was like ohohohoh,,,, between the songs and the characters this pmv illustrates all of the awful stuff the female characters go through so well (especially most of them being forced to be mothers or stuck in abusive relationships,,, yikes) and not to mention the art is beautiful, your pmvs never disappoint! amazing job with this!!

All of this pmv is so pretty and honestly very important. I love the way Snowfur stares at Thistleclaw like “what would you have done?”. The ferncloud scenes are important as it seems more pointed to the fans. Also the Leafpool scene! I love it so much, I love how it cuts to all these important moments that are often overlooked in her life and I love how she gained holly as a decoration like she was already punishing herself even before StarClan decided to be terrible and get mad at her for something they told her to do.
Anyway, in short I love this pmv and all the little details and the song’s amazing

When I was looking for open MAPs maybe to do after I start up my channel, for some reason this came up.
It reminds me of the reason I joined this community-good, make-you-sob, heartfelt animatics.
I enjoyed this very much and it brought back memories of watching warrior cats and northflowo.

Thank you for bringing this beautiful work to us! The female characters are really put through so much shit in the series and deserve better. The artwork is stunning and gorgeous with the pelts and expressions. The beginning with Snowfur really hits hard when you realize that she had to watch her mate gr**m Spottedleaf.
In my younger years I was definitely part of that percentage of the fandom that often clowned on Ferncloud for being a "baby-maker" and I still feel bad about it whenever the topic of Fern is brought up. It is pretty ridiculous that she got so much hate for it when other cats in the fandom had children more frequently than she did, but I feel there were two key factors that unfortunately led to it. After the first arc, the next three continued to be primarily from ThunderClan's POV, which meant that protagonist characters often saw Ferncloud caring for kits in the nursery in their day-to-day interactions. It didn't matter that her chosen lifestyle was far from unique, because fans' attentions were brought to Ferncloud and every mundane mention of her became another moment to fixate and hate on. The fandom actually watching Ferncloud's journey from kithood to motherhood might have also made a difference in their willingness to overlook the first arc queens while criticizing the handling of Fern. I think another part of it was that most mothers we saw after that had at least a book or two where they got to experience being a true warrior, which TNP's timeskip cut short for Ferncloud by necessity. There may have been an underlying resentment that she didn't "earn" the domestic life before settling into it.
Second factor being sadly nothing to do with Warriors and a lot to do with the reverse misogyny girls were growing up with and therefore embracing. That era in time was something I'd consider a primordial precursor to the more established "girl-boss" trope later on. There was a hyper-focus on girls needing to be strong and cool and kickass and anything remotely traditional in its femininity should be criticized and ridiculed. Ferncloud was a stay-at-home mom who was content to dedicate her time and energy to the nursery, so she "had" to be *bad.*
All in all it *wasn't* okay what the character went through OOC and I do think it's important to call out why it was wrong to scrutinize her the way many of us did, but I also get a little concerned when her original critics are read in completely bad faith. A lot of them were young, a lot of them were "not-like-other-girl"sing through their adolescence, a lot of them were dealing with *internalized misogyny* that society at large wasn't helping anyone process. It was a mess.

It’s not the fact that they openly write about it, it’s just the awful way it’s shown :’) Thistleclaw is only even portrayed as bad in Spottedleaf’s Heart because he’s training in the DF, basically telling kids that read it “Hey, you know that old guy who’s been grooming you since you were a literal baby? Well, he’s just fine as long as he’s not in the mafia 🥰” and it is so bad. Not to mention the ones that are hardly addressed like Leopardfoot and Pinestar, Dustpelt and Ferncloud, etc., they could’ve done it so much better and actually made it a GOOD warning for kids who are or may be in similar situations, but instead they made something harmful and refuse to own up to or fix that. And that’s why I don’t buy the books anymore 💀

The book never even hinted that Thistleclaw’s relationship with Spottedpaw was bad in of itself, it just showed it as a regular relationship that got “torn apart” by the dark forest and Spotted pursuing a med cat life. The pedophilia wasn’t what was shown as bad, just the fact that Thistleclaw trained in the dark forest and THAT was the only reason he was bad. If it had been a proper warning to kids, it would’ve clearly shown that what he was doing and the manipulation tactics he was using were bad, and that you need to tell someone if you’re experiencing something like Spottedpaw did. Spottedpaw never told anyone about what he did and that could seriously send a bad message to kids

Awesome PMV, you have a very beautiful style and characters designs. I almost cried while watching, thanks to the song and the video sequence. The transition between Moth Flight and Leafpool was especially epic.
Sadly, quite a few cats in the books are written with a certain misogonic attitude from both authors and other characters (this is especially sad, when you realise authors are women themselves), and also sometimes from the fans, as was the case with Ferncloud. "24/7 baby machine", as I understand it, is a nod to the fandom in the first place, which considers her a useless incubator just because she chose the path of motherhood.
From myself I would like to add Frecklewish, if we are talking about characters, who have shitty treatment from fans. I hate how some fans tried to shove her into the Dark Forest, even though of all those with whom Mappleshade had a conflict, Frecklewish is the most harmless and did not deserve death in any way. And, the most important, she don't deserve get into freaking kitty hell.

God this PMV is so amazing. Not only is your art so so good but you really did capture the emotions and essence (? vague but I don't have a better word) of some of these scenes. The song choice is perfect and the PMV complimented it so well. You also highlighted some scenes/relationships/dynamics and characters in WC that usually aren't talked about from the molly's perspective which is amazing to see more of as of recent as people look back on this series and the cats more critically

For FernCloud I felt that everybook she was having kits or expecting kits. I feel as if the Erins saw her as fuel to keep the clan alive(I'm sure there were other cats in the past like Ferncloud that are in starclan) It's just heartbreaking that she could have been so much more than just being he 24/7 queen in the nursery.

i dont usually comment on pmvs at all, but ever since this came out i cannot stop thinking about how well it was executed,, im writing this now since i was originally too shy. but i absolutely ADORE how you characterized snowfur properly, as someone who sees snowfur as a comfort character. i dont like at all how she’s often reduced to a soft, crying mess- when she was pretty impulsive in bluestars prophecy (and the reason why thistleclaw was even mates with her, he would NOT love someone soft.) the scene with thistle, spotted, and her was so perfect and i adored how it was executed. the other cats included here are interesting in the great way, i love how heatherpaw was included, and especially how the editing flows with ur expressive artstyle so well !!

Goldenflower and Tigerstar's scenes are my favorite as those lyrics really capture their relationship. I can't imagine how heartbroken Goldenflower was when she discovered her mate's treason.
For the cats you didn't name in the description, I think the two kits for the Yellow/Broken scene are Marigoldkit and Mintkit (Yellow's younger siblings that Broken killed) or Wishkit and Hopekit (Yellow's daughters who died and Broken's littermates). The cat with Twigbranch might be Finleap, but I don't know much about him other than his name and he's connected to Twig.
OMG OMG OMG!!!! This makes me have so much emotions at once. The part at the beginning showing the true fear in Snowfur's eyes is truly amazing. It shows how much disbelief she is in; the betrayal is shocking. The way that Moss'Kit started to run forward shows how oblivious children can be. This shows the true manipulation that Thistleclaw was doing. The baby machine part for Yellowfang is insane! Just how much shock she was in proved it all. She is one of my all-time favorite characters because of all of the things she has been through and how she has powered through it. Now the part (I think its leafpool) where it says, "you make me do too much labor." shows how much anger she truly is in! Yes, she made the mistake of being mates with Crowfeather but the way Starclan handled it was frustrating. Same with Squirrelflight! Starclan forced her into the problem.
Also, the whole thing with Ashfur is just sad. I truly believe that he loved her. He did! It showed so many times that he did, it never said in the power of three that he wanted to control her or manipulate her. He just wanted to love her. But yes, in the broken code he has basically gone crazy. He is one of my favorite characters. The raw emotion throughout the whole serious made me feel bad for him.

All the she cats in warriors deserve the world. I especially feel for Goldenflower because not only did she watch her mate betray their Clan but Tigerstar unintentionally cause the death of her eldest son Swiftpaw, and she had to raise Bramblepaw/Tawnypaw alone well also fearing they would be punish because of their father's actions.
I can't get over this I just keep rewatching it. Your art style and the designs for the characters just pleases my eyes. The way you show their emotions is just so perfect.

this is so stunning! it flows so well even with so many different scenes, and the storytelling in each scene is fantastic :} you showed off some more overlooked mollies as well, esp with dovewing and heatherpaw/tail since people tend to pass off their relationships with men as either healthy and fine or unhealthy and their faults. i also adore snowfur's scene showcasing her anger at thistleclaw.
