Well, looks like this is my first video in 2024.
Sorry for the delay of uploads
In my defense, It’s been a hard year. I am now highschool 2nd grade. Which means Korean university entrance exam in 2 years. It’s the most important test in my life for me.
Anyways hope you enjoy this. This was based of my old short Scourge animation: Yes I killed him. I wanted to put more story to it as well as the AU

About the AU:
Scourge and Hollyleaf both had a hard past because of someone.
Scourge was bullied by Tigerstar when he was little. Hollyleaf was almost killed by Ashfur because of Ashfur’s selfish desire + found out the truth about her birth. And in the end they both end up becoming a murderer
in this AU, after Hollyleaf killed Ashfur, Scourge’s ghost comes up to Hollyleaf and tells her that Ashfur deserved to die and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Also that this is all Leafpool and her clanmate’s fault.
Hollyleaf was not at her right mind and she was easy to manipulate.
And together they team up for revenge.

I love how Hollyleaf uses Scourge’s claws when she kills Ashfur instead of her own, it shows that Scourge has completely manipulated her

i really love the detail 2:23 of hollyleaf now reinforcing her claws with dog teeth. that's why scourge was able to kill tigerstar at once, despite his actual body and his claws being so small. he probably showed hollyleaf how so she could do the same to firestar

This is a very random part of the PMV to love so much, but I love how you showed Firestar clearly disturbed by Tigerstar’s death as he was in the book. Reading that part disturbed me, but reading Firestar so similarly disturbed by it made the emotions so much better, so I love to see it properly depicted like that !!
OMG I LOVE THE CONNECTION THIS AU HAS BW HOLLY AND SCOURGE. And the fact they’re both related to Firestar must ne devastating for him😭
The expressions and poses look so natural! Even though this is titled as a "PMV", i really like the small rough-animation sequences here! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! BRAVO!!!

This is amazing work! the expressions are top tier, and the parallels created between Scourge and Hollyleaf were very well illustrated by the posing and pacing. This is awesome! Also good luck with your exams!
You matched the lyrics up very well to what’s happening on screen, and the storyline is very easy to follow and understand, especially with the recognizable character designs. I also like your use of color and atmosphere, especially when there’s a flashback or mood change.
The way it changes from “I mean, everyone hates Tigerstar, right?” To “I mean, everyone hates Ashfur, right?” is very cool and fitting!
I also like how you flashed back to their pasts AFTER they killed their enemies.
Firestar seeing the dog claw (or tooth?) and recognizing Scourge only to turn around and see Hollyleaf was really smart! And the way Scourge runs in next to Holly at 2:28 gave me chills, it was so good.
Finally, love the expressions! They’re so well executed.

Probably wasnt intended but I happened to notice both Tiny at 0:37 and Ashfur at 1:23 have that scratch above their right eye. Not sure if this was some kind of symbolism?
