My guess on the Right/Heritage boot: Vamp = Predator Orange Outer quarter = British Tan CXL Inner quarter = Brown CXL Back Stay = Black CXL Heel counter cover = Brown WF Pull tab = Natural Dublin Thinking they stuck to all Horween tannage.
My guess on the Left/Work boot: Vamp = 64 Brown Outer quarter = 64 Tan Inner quarter = 64 Mahogany Back Stay = Max Support Black Heel counter cover = 64 Monarch Pull tab = 64 Ash Grey
We will hopefully get a measurable difference from the future updates. It would be nice to know how much of a difference there is between the outsoles. I do hope the difference will be slight for the sake of this man’s gait. It can’t be healthy having one longer leg for a long period of time.
How on earth did you get Nicks to send those to you? It’s a serious question because they have told me that if it’s on their website, won’t make it, end of story. And I would really like a pair that not at all super custom, and something they CAN make it’s just not offered. And I believe they offered it in the not so distant past. Would love to hear back from you, and hope you enjoy your pair, Cheers!
They want to market their products and I presented an idea to them. It no different t than rose anvil or carl doing a boot. They could have just as easily said no. They saw the value in showcasing their leathers and how they patina. Unlike other channels I will be doing a lot of follow ups to demonstrate how the leather changed. If you have an idea, you can always send it to them. I know they would love different designs that would set them apart from the other makers
My guess on the Right/Heritage boot:
Vamp = Predator Orange
Outer quarter = British Tan CXL
Inner quarter = Brown CXL
Back Stay = Black CXL
Heel counter cover = Brown WF
Pull tab = Natural Dublin
Thinking they stuck to all Horween tannage.
Those look phenomenal
Can’t wait to see the patina!
Dude, I'm digging these boots. Fun and a great idea
Awesome boots man. Cant wait to see the results. Thx for sharing
Wow! I didn't think Nick's did multiple colors like that. Nice pair, sir.
Ah, ok. I see your explanation in another comment. Cool!
Also, Frank's should do a Nickenstein just to be wiseguys 😋
The funny thing is, in five years it’ll all look like one leather.
My guess on the Left/Work boot:
Vamp = 64 Brown
Outer quarter = 64 Tan
Inner quarter = 64 Mahogany
Back Stay = Max Support Black
Heel counter cover = 64 Monarch
Pull tab = 64 Ash Grey
I will be interested to see what nicks says but I think you are right. I am sure we will see a build video in the next week or
I’d go for that with the exception of the different soles. Doesn’t seem healthy to me to have two different densities under foot.
If Nick's is reading the comments, i would pay big money for boots just like that.
Awesome boots!
The honey vibram might wear faster than the black vibram

I bet the boys in there that were building these boots we're in their pissing themselves laughing when they were putting these together
Uniquely cool boots. I like them!
I really like your Frankenstein boots. Wonder if they could make that a staple 🤔
Holy crap did you get enough kilties!!

Ya I wondered the same. That’s wild.

@@757OMG that’s awesome dude. It’s just in time for Halloween too. You should make a Frankenstein’s Patina video in late October. 🤙
When I was a kid I once mixed all the fountain sodas in one cup. Disgusting really. These boots are that soda.
