I rock the MC 9, 1700 rounds in, had two malfunctions during break in period, l could’ve caused one, limp waisting, zero since. I carry this gun. Purely because of the accuracy. The mc 9 points better for me and this is the only micro pistol l’m accurate with. I know where the bullets are going to go provided l do my job. Tried every Glock as l have a g45 and wanted to stay in the same platform. But had accuracy issues, the g43: 43x, 48, base g26, ss cr920, hellcat pro, p365. All too snappy for me to consistently control. Grip breaks down no matter what. Tried a canik tps9 and was completely surprised how easy it was to shoot and get on target. Tried the mete mc9. Not as snappy for me and accurate. So l bought after renting it a few more times to confirm the accuracy wasn’t a fluke. I love canik s now. Rarely shoot my Glock as of lately.
💯 Agree with this! Canik has been the best shooting gun for me too. Nothing comes close to how accurate I am with them or how it just bonds with me. Had to adjust quite a bit to run Glocks but know I can 100% trust my life with them. I think if it wasn't for my previous bad experiences with it, I'd go as far as saying that the MC9 is the best do it all gun.
I was ordering the Canik around the hype seen all the horror stories in comments canceled the order paid the difference for Glock 26 dodged a lemon 😂 G26 is battle tested
Yo don’t get me wrong like they feel great in the hand but you pay for reliability it’s not supposed to start acting up after 200 or 300 hundred round count that’s just me I’ll pay a lil extra and have no problems wit a Glock 🤷🏾♂️🫡💯
I waited so long for 26.5 mos to come out. Finally did and I don’t want a third 26 now. Good video! My only disagreement is putting big extensions on 26s making them essentially a shorter 19.
The Canik MC9 long trigger take-up with the fake wall sucks. Although the Canik reset is shorter, I like the Glock gen 3 reset, as its stronger, and more tactile. Glock is the perfect carry/self-defense trigger. I love the gen 3 finger groves, as they fit my fingers perfectly, and really lock my grip tight. So, I'm going to stick with one of the most reliable carry guns ever, in the legendary Glock 26 gen 3, over the unproven Canik MC9.
Glock my canik mc sucked. All my other caniks are great but this one was trash. Had to send it back it had multiple problems. My glocks are all stock other than sights, im one of the people who actually likes glock stock triggers.
Basically a Walther P99 micro copy with a PPQ trigger vs a Glock 26 I'm taking the Canik but the Glock 26 is a good gun P99 PPQ PDP platform is good stuff in my opinion
Let me tell you a secret. In Turkey, the average price of Canik is 350 dollars and Glock is 4000 dollars. Thousands of people are waiting in line to buy the limited number of Glocks.
$4,000?! No thanks lol if it wasn't for their track record I wouldn't even pay the $620 the MOS versions cost to be honest. That's crazy tho I didn't know that 👍🏽
@@S.0.G Gun laws are different in Turkey. You can only buy a gun from a government-owned institution. The state determines the price. Imported weapons are expensive to support domestic production.
Good video man! I think the 26 MOS is he king especially with the optic cut and the SLR extension. I have a ton of carry guns multiple sig 365s, a shadow systems cr920 and Glock 43x and 48. I still want a G26 as it’s has 30 years of reliability nothing else is ever close in those terms
If you want a better trigger, replace your stock trigger with the Glock performance trigger for about 89 bucks. Thats my two cents. I've been carrying a Glock 26 Gen3 for over ten years and it checks all of the boxes. I've competed with it in IDPA matches and I do quite well with it. I have fired over 5 thousand rounds and never had a hic up.
Let me be clear, no Glock trigger needs to be replaced, as they are perfect for Carry/Self-defense/Combat, as that's what they are designed for. I have other pistols, that are my range, target, competition, fun guns.@@accord50
Can’t argue that glock is battle tested. But I went with the canik it felt better in the hand and the trigger blows any glock trigger out of the water and with these little guns that’s a big deal. I don’t have a lot of rounds through it yet but so far no issues.
I love Glocks and I love the 26 me I think the mc9 is trash they have to many issues to many videos on them with that being said they do feel good in the hand that’s the think wit the gun community to much hating on what you carry, once you carry a firearm to protect yourself the legal way you got my respect 🫡
@@S.0.Gthe only reason I say it’s trash cause it’s not reliable for it to be a kind of new gun and to hear all the problems wit it after a round count 🤔 that’s why I say it’s 🗑️I never had a issue wit the 26🤷🏾♂️

Yeah my canik MC was trash, my other caniks run great but not this one

Thanks for watching! And yes I agree the sole purpose of the 26 is to be able to conceal it
I chose Glock for the mag compatibility, simplicity and they just work…and keep working. Just bought a 26.5 MOS BlueLabel yesterday

I love both, I shoot both. Canik triggers are scary good. My G27 trigger guard is undercut. Makes a world of difference.

I’m still rocking my Hellcat but I have had the G26.5. I might try the Canik down the road but I’m no hurry.
It's definitely not a bad thing to have options! lol I liked the hellcat pro a lot myself but the MC9 is just on another level in my opinion
Good video. I have both and I love both canik trigger is a little better

Nothing the matter with the stock Glock gen 3 trigger.
Not a dam thing the matter with the stock Glock trigger, learn to shoot for heaven's sake.@@S.0.G

So you have issues carrying the Glock 26 concealed? I have a spare tire and want to carry the Glock 26 and was told to wear it using Cross draw?
Yea just a bit. It's not too big a deal for me tho because the 26 is what I plan to carry during winter. I usually carry around 3 o'clock
Look into jx tactical fat guy holster or northcoast tactical T.U.C holster. These sit deeper and allow us thick boys to conceal carry with comfort.
Glock 26 gen 5 I been carrying for a few years now
Everyone says the Rival mags don’t work in the MC9.
Mine work just fine. Maybe not the Rival S but the standard Rival mags work perfectly fine

It's hard to pass up on a Canik! They did a lot of good things. The trigger is one of the best triggers out of any striker fired gun for sure!
Ur edc mc9 o glock 26?
The G26 but could definitely change!
Glock at 100 percent but Canik is a nice gun I have them both.
Glock 26 all day
