I found this many Beasts/Monsters/Murderers that are mentioned/referenced in "Losing It" 1. Fee fee, fi fi, fo fo, fum - Giant from Jack & the Beanstalk 2. Scooby Doo - & Crew hunt Monsters 3. Ghost 4. Poltergeist 5. I’m a Demon 6. Morgan Freeman - imprisoned for murder in Shawshank Redemption. 7. Rag and Bone Man - known as the bone-grubber, bone-picker. 8. Macbeth - the protagonist is a monster due to the murders he committed. 9. A Werewolf out in the moonlight 10. A blood sucking parasite - Lyme Disease Tick 11. Vampire 12. Venom - Marvel Universe 13. Pop one, pop two, drop three men redlight/greenlight - Squid Games Murders 14. Godzilla 15. Gorilla in the Jungle - King Kong 16. Bear in the Wood - Grizzly 17. Mordor Lord - Sauron 18. Nazgul - Dark Servants of Sauron 19. The Devil There are many other groupings like Actors/Films, Singers/Songs & of course Sexual Innuendo lol. Oh and double & Triple entendre sprinkled everywhere thru the lyrics.
pink floyd, movie, the wall, i even think it is the start of the movie, but: vacum cleaner sound and chatter, camera pick up and floor view all the way to pink. same start of video, if u seen movie, u know . )) ans btw, his outfit is a hint to, i just cant place it
Dope reaction!! The Rhythm The Rebel - 1988 Chuck D, Public Enemy “Rebel Without a Pause” Dope f’kn track. In 1991 R.A.F. dropped Chuck D’s rap into house music track. Then 2022 Ren raps over Fischer’s 2018 EDM beats. “Bring that beat back…” 🤘🏼🎧🤟🏼
I'm a full on metal and rock fan but this is one of my favourite Ren songs, the video is so brilliant in every way!! It's fun and groovy - just love it, so many cultural references. Glad you reacted to this one, knew you'd love it.
Whoever they are that say REN is “bad”, (I assume they mean lacking talent) are obviously either lacking taste & musical knowledge or sad & angry little humans who strive to be as talented but fail, or they’re both! His talent shines out like a lighthouse beam on a dark night. Those people might strive for such gifts, but with uptight, jealous, angry little minds as they obviously have, they’ll never gain the love & respect that REN has. He has friends that help him achieve his dreams, with little or no thought of what they get out of it, they do it all for him, ‘cos they care. And only a genuinely kind, charismatic & big hearted person has friends like that. REN is gifted young man & such gifts deserve all the rewards the “entertainment industry” can provide! Love your breakdowns & reactions, you’re one of the few that “get” all Ren’s content, thank you. Love from Annie, in Cornwall, UK🙂🌸
Just the jealous people who say he is not good. Cause they can only wish they could do what Ren can. People even in the music industry can't do half the things Ren does. Heck they can't even sing or rap let alone play a instrument.. If they say he isn't good. Then why did Sony sign him up then, you have to be good to get notice by big companies, before is illness took over him and affected him throughout it..
This one is so much fun!! It’s not easy to rap over an EDM beat, but he likes to challenge himself. But I also love that he had so much fun putting this video together! So creative
Lmao. This song makes my ADHD so freaking happy🤗 Everytime I hear it my insides jump up and down like a kid on a bed!! 😂 Peace and love always until there is no more!😊❤
Love the reaction, you are super observant!...it is the same sea front shot as genesis but just closer into the centre of Brighton. Either way its an absolute banger, makes me smile!! 🙂
You're right, Ren is so good it's insane. Between KnoxHill breaking down the bars, and Anthony Ray catching so many cultural references that go over so many heads, no Ren song is completely reacted to until both of you have reacted to it. Even then, I know there's a lot we're still missing.
I’d recommend checking out @dicodec. He’s a big Ren fan and does a great job breaking down all cool production Ren. Even going as far as eliminating tracks to show the cool details.
As an Elder of the Net, Ren is an artist that reminds me of the “good ol’ days” of 80’s 90’s and 2K’s of music and music videos. Long Live the Ren! Yeh Boi’s lol Anyone else want to see a Ren/Prof collaboration??
I am glad you appreciated this one. The beat is so out of my style and for some of the people it is a deal breaker when they react but somehow this song grew on me with time; it is kind of brilliant to listen though. So many easter eggs hidden. I absolutely love the last part. Saying repetition and repeating the same word thrice. And "chopping" part theb going into a mini chopping flow.
Who in their right mind would say he's not good?! They need to clean the wax outta their ears because he's great at everything he does, and, he's a supurb human being to boot. Sheesh...
This one will always sit in my top 5 Ren tracks list ❤ And I agree. People who say he isn't good are nuts. You don't have to like it, but if you don't recognise the talent, there's something wrong.
Great reaction my dude! I am a little surprised you just heard this one, but also...kinda happy! Means I got to hear again through fresh ears once more! 😉😉
Yes it's all filmed in Brighton and when he's sitting on the stairs that's where he filmed Murderer that's where they all lived ,Romain,Koran and Glen 😊😊
It always surprises me when I see someone who has reacted to a lot of Ren finally react to this! I love this song and video. It truly is amazing. Great reaction!
I love watching reactors checking out Losing It….just the flow switches, trying to catch all the references and when he goes beast mode…..watching your face being completely into what is going on. This is one of my favourite Ren retakes 🔥🔥🔥great reaction!
"...Dig it like a shovel, rhyme devil, on a heavenly level, bang the bass, turn up the treble!" - SNAP "I Got the Power" might be the old school rhyme scheme your were thinking of with bass, treble, devil, angel, etc...
The rhythm the rebel is the opening words to Rebel without a Pause by Public Enemy. U r the first person to catch that. I caught it first time i heard this but I’m also 49yrs old. So I listened to that song a lot growing up. Great catch
Holy hell, that BOMB bar! Did you see what I did there? I have watched eleventy million reactions to this and that's the first time anyone has explained that. Fucking DEVIOUS Ren!! 🔥
I love this and have lost count how many times I have listened to it and I had to laugh when you said about having the confidence to stand on the underground and perform like that because for me personally I would rather throw myself on the tracks!! Also im presuming the filming when you mentioned Genesis was done on the Seafront at Brighton.
Yours is one of my favorite reactions to this song. You broke down more bars than anyone I've watched and I really appreciate that. I still need to find out what the bears in the wood reference relates to though. It reminds me of something and I just can't figure it out.
Public Enemy - Takes a Nation of Millions is where "the rhythm the rebel" bar comes from. If you haven't bumped that one from start to finish, it's probably the holy grail of old school hip hop.
Its such a fun track with loads of favourite parts? and a visual feast. Yep, it's Brighton seafront where he also filmed Genesis. As to his cajones for filming /performing in public like that on the underground platform, that confidence will have been honed over so many years busking on the streets, often without even the back-up bravado of having your mates around filming you etc
Locations for the shoot were Churchill Square Shopping centre, Stone Street & Castle Street (Location for Murderer Video too), Western Road & Kings Road (Location for Genesus video) in Brighton and London Victoria underground Station in London. Can't quite place the car park or the Gym.
I thought I’d caught all the references made in this song but I was so very wrong. Thank you for the Drake/ Kanye feud angle. That was awesome. It’s the reason I don’t miss any content you produce. Bravo!
Yeah, totally agree! That was a dope insight! Thing is, even when reactors/fans say they might be over-reaching, the interpretation still fits most of the time, and we might learn something new, like in this instance. Thanks Anthony!
Not only is his rap game and ability to truly sing just insane but his video's are amazing. So many of his videos are 1 single take with no cuts which is just insane.
Ren actually shot most of this one himself. There was an interview with his regular videographer where he mentioned it. He said it was just about completely Ren.
Fischer is an Australian EDM MC /DJ - Losing It is his EDM track that only has the occasional “ I’m Losing It “ for Lyrics. REN’s version he added lyrics over the original. Ren calls it a retake when he uses someone’s music with his lyrics- Losing it Fischer Retake and Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve) Retake. Live both.
Rewatch for me. On the Roxanne by Police part . I love that song I remember before I lost my mom of which had limited hearing , I remember she really loved the rhythmic beat to that song when it came over the radio. It caught her attention and she smiled and wanted to dance to it. Fond memory for me🧡
Ren has brought me to many reactors channels - yours is one of only a couple I’ve subbed to. Love your intelligence, insight and knowledge of what your talking about, I learn something from you every video see. Big love and respect from New England, USA!
I think this may be my favourite reaction of yours to date. Your joy is palpable & I am sooo glad you've done this track ❤ He has so many for reactors... The Renegades will always have something new to enjoy with you. And yes, same location as Genesis when he's running towards the camera. Brighton sea front. I actually took pics sitting there a few months ago just because I knew Ren had been filming there 😂
Yes Anthony the part that mentions the rhythm the rebel of which was familiar to you was a reference to the Public Enemy song called Rebel without a pause 💪great catch
Love this reaction! I think my favorite to this song, and there have been some greats. You pick up so much and love it in the same way I feel it, super satisfying. You've got a new sub here for sure
I heard another reactor say that the line when he says "I'm about to go Beast Mode, I'm about to go Mcbeth" is referring to Paul Mcbeth, an American Disc Golfer, who is supposedly the best of his generation. If you google him, there are a lot of videos with titles like, INSANE Paul Mcbeth BeastMode hightlights.
I love this! That must’ve been crazy intricate to work out filming wise with the prep, change of clothes, etcétera etcétera. Blows the top of my head off just thinking about it! I liked the original by Fisher but that was just instrumental… this is ‘mental’!! One of my faves of his…. great reaction 😊❤London x
I think its very dizzee rascal style, his video for bonkers is very reminiscent and the warped vocals on the ' im messed in the mental ' verse. So many fire references ❤
The shots where he's by the train... I've wondered so many times if those random people figured out they were in a video for someone who has become quite well known. Do they show their friends? "Look! I was in Ren's video!" 😂
The reason that video has so many views is because I have watched it 1.7 million times myself. It's so good.
I found this many Beasts/Monsters/Murderers that are mentioned/referenced in "Losing It"

Leave it to Ren to write a literary line like "I'm a Mordor Lord, the Nasgul will reign". Dude is special.
He was noticed at 17 and signed at 19....then his life imploded from there and he has been fighting ever since.
This one is so much fun!! It’s not easy to rap over an EDM beat, but he likes to challenge himself. But I also love that he had so much fun putting this video together! So creative
Any other rapper would see the complex beat as an unclimbable mountain. All Ren saw was a playground.
I truly believe every connection you can make with Ren’s lyrics does exist within the songs… and then add about 3 more for each one
A reference to add to your collection if you don't already know....Bongo bong is a song he covered with the Big Push. Such a fun tune.
This video rocks... the camera work is amazing!!
Lmao. This song makes my ADHD so freaking happy🤗
Everytime I hear it my insides jump up and down like a kid on a bed!! 😂
Peace and love always until there is no more!😊❤
This might be my favorite Ren song, at least at the moment. My favorite seems to switch throughout the day.
Agree completely. I freaking love this one.
Ren has supplanted all of my favorite artists. He is truly something special. NF is a very close second. They are just so unique.
Love the reaction, you are super observant!...it is the same sea front shot as genesis but just closer into the centre of Brighton. Either way its an absolute banger, makes me smile!! 🙂

Yeah, he caught multiple things I haven't noticed or knew about and I have watched all of the Losing It reactions I could find.
I’d recommend checking out @dicodec. He’s a big Ren fan and does a great job breaking down all cool production Ren. Even going as far as eliminating tracks to show the cool details.
Ren all the filming of this video. Just amazing😳💕👍🦇
As an Elder of the Net, Ren is an artist that reminds me of the “good ol’ days” of 80’s 90’s and 2K’s of music and music videos. Long Live the Ren!
Yeh Boi’s
lol
Anyone else want to see a Ren/Prof collaboration??
I just decided to remind you of this comment:-D
I am glad you appreciated this one. The beat is so out of my style and for some of the people it is a deal breaker when they react but somehow this song grew on me with time; it is kind of brilliant to listen though. So many easter eggs hidden. I absolutely love the last part. Saying repetition and repeating the same word thrice. And "chopping" part theb going into a mini chopping flow.
I noticed you haven't reviewed Money game 1 & 2, I would recommend giving that a try, Money game 3 is on its way shortly.!!
Who in their right mind would say he's not good?! They need to clean the wax outta their ears because he's great at everything he does, and, he's a supurb human being to boot. Sheesh...
All but one of my friends. I'm sure they'll catch up in a couple of decades.
This one will always sit in my top 5 Ren tracks list ❤
And I agree. People who say he isn't good are nuts. You don't have to like it, but if you don't recognise the talent, there's something wrong.
Been waiting for you to get around to this one 😁👍
A couple of decades busking on the streets probably teaches you how to deal with the anxiety about performin in public 🙂
Also that’s shot on the London Underground and everyone knows that you don’t make eye contact with anyone, so do what you like!
In Blind Eyed he says that his rhymes set him free of his anxieties.
Gold and fire brother, no matter what ren song you listen to he's spitting both
Great reaction my dude! I am a little surprised you just heard this one, but also...kinda happy! Means I got to hear again through fresh ears once more! 😉😉

so glad you reacted to this one its one of my favourites thank you ❤❤
After listening to your breakdown of the song I appreciate it all the more. Again. Ren is a freakin musical genius! 😮
This one is such a banger,Thanks Anthony❤
The rhythm the rebel is the opening words to Rebel without a Pause by Public Enemy. U r the first person to catch that. I caught it first time i heard this but I’m also 49yrs old. So I listened to that song a lot growing up. Great catch
This might be one of the top three best songs I've ever heard in my life
This is one of my favorite songs of Ren’s. It’s fun and catchy and has a lot of old references. 💖
Holy hell, that BOMB bar! Did you see what I did there? I have watched eleventy million reactions to this and that's the first time anyone has explained that. Fucking DEVIOUS Ren!! 🔥
He is the different that we need in this world ❤
I love this and have lost count how many times I have listened to it and I had to laugh when you said about having the confidence to stand on the underground and perform like that because for me personally I would rather throw myself on the tracks!! great reaction dude!! cant believe you hadnt seen this one already!!! deffo a fun track!
Love this song. The flows, the lyrics and his performance are all amazing. Great reaction ❤
Yes, filmed on Brighton promenade. Brighton is Ren's hometown, it's in the UK South Coast below London 😊
Its filmed in Brighton UK .
Yours is one of my favorite reactions to this song. You broke down more bars than anyone I've watched and I really appreciate that. I still need to find out what the bears in the wood reference relates to though. It reminds me of something and I just can't figure it out.

Wow I forgot you never did this one Anthony, it's one of the most popular ones. It's insane indeed. A pleasure watching you react, as always. 🔥
That song is a journey! Great reaction!
Total banger. Love this song
This guy's observational and analytical skills are on point. Much respect.
Locations for the shoot were Churchill Square Shopping centre, Stone Street & Castle Street (Location for Murderer Video too), Western Road & Kings Road (Location for Genesus video) in Brighton and London Victoria underground Station in London. Can't quite place the car park or the Gym.

Sam told Joey in his interview that most of the video was Ren shooting this one.. pure Genius once again
Not only is his rap game and ability to truly sing just insane but his video's are amazing. So many of his videos are 1 single take with no cuts which is just insane.

So far the 2 things I've seen that Ren can't do is basketball and boxing. But he tries! He's a legend
Ren has brought me to many reactors channels - yours is one of only a couple I’ve subbed to. Love your intelligence, insight and knowledge of what your talking about, I learn something from you every video see. Big love and respect from New England, USA!

And yes, same location as Genesis when he's running towards the camera. Brighton sea front. I actually took pics sitting there a few months ago just because I knew Ren had been filming there 😂
Inlove this song from him so much 😂 its such a hype song
it's Brighton on the south coast of England. Most of his videos are filmed there
Every track I listen to I think is my favourite. Until I think they all definitely are my favourite. Great reaction. 😘😘😘😘
13:51 Public Enemy - Rebel Without a Pause
Edit: 14:19 Yes, that is Brighton Front.
LOL!! I love this song AND your honest, knowledgeable reaction! So much fun!
I have been WAITING for you to react to this!!!!!!❤❤❤
I can't believe you haven't heard this one before! One of the best!
I love this song so much ❤️ thanks for reacting to it. I can't believe you hadn't heard it yet.
New Kids on the Block was once upon a time famous American band ( one of members was Donnie Wahlberg brother of actor Mark)😊
He’s just so very good at it all. Powerhouse.
I remember your first Ren reaction. I didn't know there was so much more either. ❤😊
This is one of my favorites. Ren IS different. So impressive.
Yeah where he's running is where Genesis was filmed (Brighton seafront), good spot.
Ren is like nothing I've ever seen before. Ren is life.
The rhythm the rebel is a public enemy song by chuck d in the 80s. Ren is referencing old school rap
Love Ren and love reviewers who react to Ren.
knox hill, black pegasus and sir anthony...the holy trinity of reaction 💯🔥
5:15 he also makes Game of Thrones references in other songs, so that's where my mind went.
The bloke is on another level.
ren knows its a mix its why he named it after the song! he has so many original songs!
Definitely one of his best great reaction and it’s on Brighton sea front where he lives ❤
Love this one! Glad to see it through your lens! ❤️🔥❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
I heard another reactor say that the line when he says "I'm about to go Beast Mode, I'm about to go Mcbeth" is referring to Paul Mcbeth, an American Disc Golfer, who is supposedly the best of his generation. Its Brighton. The aqua railings are down near the prom.
He shot most of his videos in Brighton. This is the beach front I believe (same as Genesis).
Love witching your Ren reactions, very informative, i learn something new every time!
This is fire one of my favorite Ren songs...great reaction appreciate you.
The Rhythm the Rebel was from Public Enemy tune
I'm so surprised you hadn't seen this before, I knew youd love it, and totally get it 🖤
I think the rythm the rebel thing is a direct Public Enemy quote. One of the first rap songs I ever heard right there.
This is just next level...on so many levels
I think its very dizzee rascal style, his video for bonkers is very reminiscent and the warped vocals on the ' im messed in the mental ' verse. So many fire references ❤
Genious on left side on screan in roof scene is a 360° drone pilot ... Dude..
❤
The shots where he's by the train... I've wondered so many times if those random people figured out they were in a video for someone who has become quite well known. Do they show their friends? "Look! I was in Ren's video!" 😂
Love this!! One of my top 5 Ren tunes
If you want a criminally underrated Ren track with a hint of country music, try Hold On. Currently top of my Ren playlist.
🎉thnx! Can't wait to check that out
