Ren is a fairly amazing rabbit hole to go down, He is the first truly great new artist of this new century that I have seen. Like he could be the next Bowie/Prince/Elton John/ He consistently blows my mind with both his skill as a performer/producer/writer, but also as a human...he displays a level of compassion and consideration of his fellow humans as few do these days, that alone makes him very special IMO. The fact that it seems like every track he drops lately is nuclear levels of hot an amazing bonus. He even dunked a rap battle with kindness, Ren is one of a kind.

This is one of my fave covers that Ren remixes!!! I work at a music festival and in 2018, when the producer, FISHER, dropped it on our main stage the whole place was BUMPIN!!! Ren took this track and made it his own! I love it! I am guessing you don't listen to a ton of EDM because you keep calling it Dubstep, but this is Techno/House. All the same, glad to see you have enjoyed this track!!!
Okay, so I'll try to offer more info about my previous recommendations -- in Power he gets personal and still somehow keeps it light and danceable, and Children of the Moon is just great for spooky season and plays off of old horror movies and stuff. Have you done Chalk Outlines feat Chinchilla yet? (I'll have to go check). That one's heavier, but beautiful -- not rap, also a one-take video and just so, so great.

What's insane about this guy is music is just one thing he offers! Its amazing to see someone with a platform as big as his do actual good with it. The part that should rattle the brain is that that Ren doesn't consider himself a hip hop/rap artist. He has a lot of hip hop stuff come out because he wanted to make a hip hop album (which is due out in October - Sick Boi) but who knows what he'll do next...lol.
I'm not sure exactly how Ren does what he does but I have a couple of suspicions, One of the skills he has is to change the number of consonant beat counts within a word, algebra or al geb ra has three beat counts or consonants in its pronunciation, but you can break the word down differently to get two beats instead of three, I suspect ren writes a story breaks it down into the fewest number of words to get his point acrossed, then goes back and looks up synonyms that have different beat patterns but mean the same thing, And then you just work and work the verse pronunciation pattern until It forms different beat patterns, so that now your words become a drum track, he also seems to incorporate musical scale into his words when he sings them, which he also uses to announce another beat pattern. In other words when writing he does a lot of work, And it's multi-tiered and multi-layered both in meaning, beat pattern and cadence.

Fisher is the artist of the original existing EDM that Ren is Rapping over.. i think that is how its said. Please excuse a very old white woman from midwest USA. I am an avid Ren reactor follower. I used to struggle with hearing the rap, but eventually my ears and mind sync'd up. So at 68 years old I can enjoy even other rapper's rap.
