If she likes retro, she would probably like Ren's "What you want". His song "Power" is a laid back tune for driving. His duets with Chinchilla are on the darker/emotional side but she's a great performer and match for Ren's style. Any of those or her separate work will be fun.

To make you feel a little better....Bristol was where Ren moved to after he left Wales. His first band, Trick the Fox (amazing early Ren content) was formed in Bristol then after a few years Ren moved back to Wales then to his Grans in Brighton.
Ren went to Bristol Uni, its where he started his first band Trick the Fox, but has lived in Brighton more recently, where he busked with his band The Big Push....
The video to “Power” is filmed in Bristol, driving around St.Paul’s and along Cheltenham road.

You are right, he was signed by Sony in 2010 and was recording an album with them. Sadly he became too ill to carry on and so the album was not completed/released. (Severeal tracks were included on his Freckled Angels album, released in 2016). He did write and record many tracks in his bedroom but this is not one of them. The dance track is by Australian DJ/Producer Fisher. Ren has remixed it and added the rap. Superb

Nathan Barley is *Hilarious* and I've no doubt that Ren probably saw it. He was in bed 23 hours a day when that show came out. He's said he was watching practically everything at the time.
This fun rollercoaster of a reaction will help get me through a tough work day in 100-degree heat! 😂 A huge part of Ren's genius is his great sense of humor. That's one of the "hooks" that pulled me into Hi Ren ("Eminem did it," "PlanB did it"), and probably helped him get through the worst of his Lyme disease.
