Thanks for this one brother. Man Ren's diversity is fucking incredible. Mind blowingly. Where others might spread themselves thin somewhere amongst the challenge of jumping and mixing up genres, Ren not only delivers but raises the bar like he's the master creator in every space he enters. Seriously WTF? If he was an olymipc athlete, he'd have more gold around his neck than a 70's pimp. If a dancer he'd find moves, rhythm and order a miracle dance that cures cancer.
Drop him in the Middle East give it a week, they'd be all holding hands eternally at peace. Ren's offerings are pure and beautiful gifts. There's power in what he does. The good kind and the connection we're all feeling, it's real, we're not fans, we are friends and not just with Ren. This is humanity, our potential, for real. The Kaiser Chiefs are a British rock band who had some hit songs around 2007 here in Europe. I don't particularly like them, but they are part of European pop culture. Plus the word kaiser is German for "emperor" (it's derived from "Ceasar", I digress) and chief, well, two words to use in a flex about one's greatness, I guess. One of the Kaiser Chiefs' songs is called "Ruby", and the singer repeats the name 4 times, fast, in the chorus.
So now you can also appreciate that bar.
