16:07 right here he mentions he’s the king of the “bongo bong”. This is an incredible song he did with the big push that you will adore!!! Bongo Bong is SO good! Your surprise will be an incredible addition!!!! Red light green light from squid games - incredible Netflix series Honest I was like how could she do the “surprise to this one it’s all over the place!? I am blown away! Every time I am just sucked out of reality where there is nothing but the beautiful echos of your singing filling my head. It makes these songs I love already elevate to an even greater level and makes every one feel absolutely epic. Thank you, I really needed this. My 5 y/o is at wolfsons, and it seems like there isn’t much more they can do for her. This is a truth we have been aware of since birth, but every admit means a step closer and… it was nice having a little yoink from reality for a min. Thank you.❤
Bongo Bong is one of my top TBP songs! Always makes me smile 😃 It's also a cover from the original Manu Chau song, but to me they actually managed to improve on it 😮
Beautifully said. My heart hurts for you all. I can't imagine that pain. I hope the time you have with your daughter is full of precious love, laughter, and heart connection.
The original beat is by Fisher. The challenge of rapping to a preexisting beet is intensified by how much the flow changes. This beat is considered to be more suitable for EDM; but Ren is a lyrical genius. This song is his "You can't rap to this beat."..."Watch me," moment.
"That's just me being a prude." You will need to buckle up again & again because, as he says in Back On 74, "my favorite (is) naughty bars." I'm a 78 y.o. woman & I find cheeky Ren absolutely adorable!
Kaiser Chief's are a British Rock Band that had a number 1 with a song called Ruby Ruby Ruby and also mentioned Roxanne put on the Red light (the Police)
He actually bends that scheme. He goes from supernatural creatures to technology with "I'm a *digital* vampire. *Terabyte* (Terror bite)" Satellite fits the new compound scheme.
Hello and good morning Nicoletta! Welcome to Ren's 'pure' rapping tracks. Ren has an exceptional rapping flow, rhythm, and understanding of how rapping works. Some notes for you, as usual. This song is a retake, meaning rewriting the lyrics and SOME of the original production to create a similar but new derivative that is uniquely his own. He has several of these and, imo, one of the best in the world at this. Losing It is an EDM, techno-dance, song made by the Australian artist known as FISHER in 2019. It doesn't have any vocals, some samples instead. Here is the original: ruclips.net/video/u31thuMehjM/видео.htmlsi=KSkP9MTyaczoXYzI There are more than 30 pop culture references that he puts into his lyrics, many involving multiple double or even triple entendres. Something to note: Ren is an extreme fan and appreciator of J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy metaverse and one of the best lines in the song is "and I'm a Mordor Lord the Nazgul will reign" and you'll notice direct quotes or his own unique appreciation of Tolkien's elementary pieces in many of his tracks. This was recorded in Brighton around the docks, beaches, and piers of Brighton. Crew included Sam Palvey, Josh, and Ren himself using mostly a 360 'fisheye' camera. Here are his retakes: Nas - Halftime (ruclips.net/video/e3_KfTO7dfw/видео.htmlsi=n_F5rZiP-0Sbks6j); SBTRKT - Wildfire (ruclips.net/video/bEVfqR5PJE8/видео.htmlsi=GuuhAbL3bBo-DQQt); Back on 74/Message in a Bottle (ruclips.net/video/oqRaADSdJLE/видео.htmlsi=sE5YfM--83iakHYq); Fatboy Slim - Right Here, Right Now (ruclips.net/video/yVaJUdllr3c/видео.htmlsi=6tLIXCmCP-2QrOCT); The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony (ruclips.net/video/JwtEOp7pC1A/видео.htmlsi=jqLQmgfR9UECyr2y); Fred Again - Mashup (ruclips.net/video/8ASggnoga9Q/видео.htmlsi=AqzlJoSxaPNJPnIF); Foofighters - All My Life (ruclips.net/video/mViaIY98gUA/видео.htmlsi=6t4qzhvNHzhl7nCR). He's also done plenty of retakes with his band The Big Push. Here are those retakes: Fatboy Slim - Praise You (ruclips.net/video/5vbA514eVDc/видео.htmlsi=ETHYEiUV5YLg3Bdz); Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Were Made for Walkin', The Rolling Stones - I Can't Get No (Satisfaction), and The Blues Brothers - Everybody (Needs Somebody) (ruclips.net/video/ZlJ0wSzBWKw/видео.htmlsi=o7TV8TPWUYDYEHPE); Manu Chao - Bongo Bong (ruclips.net/video/EQAUupOFarw/видео.htmlsi=OWxnLtKzrR0sufHb). Praise You is one of my personal favorites because they literally took the song and changed it almost entirely EXCEPT the lyrics and it is fucking incredible. I love Bongo Bong because, like Praise You, it is almost a complete reversal/change from the original in everything but lyrics. For more amazing, though all are, Ren rapping tracks, I highly recommend you check out Murderer, Animal Flow, The Illest of Our Time, Genesis, The Hunger, and basically the entire Sick Boi album as it is dedicated to hip-hop. On that album though, I deeply recommend Seven Sins, What You Want (Beastie Boys tribute), and Wicked Ways (this one in particular to hear literally a dozen different types of rap in a single track, literally changing types every four verses). A bonus track provided on Bandcamp and SoundCloud that is one of his best tracks ever is Castles Made of Sand. Ren is a masterclass in rap. He may say he is not a rapper or a battle rapper, but he definitely has more than enough chops to handle it. His skill with all the best elements of rap is truly admirable and even pure rappers acknowledge his talent as truly one for the ages. He has such a deep appreciation and respect for hip-hop and rapping. I am so glad you are continuing to enjoy the journey of my favorite artist, ever. Can't wait to see what you find next. Much peace and love to you darling. ^^
The Kaiser Chiefs had a massive hit in the later 2000s called "Ruby Ruby Ruby". At least it was in Europe, you couldnt escape it if you wanted to. Thats what Ren references. also Rag'n Bone Man is another great UK artist who was massive like 5-10 years back. Dont know how popular he was in the US...
Rag'n Bone Man is a billion play artist, he was big everywhere. Also, I know the people behind the album art where he's crossing his hands. They still work together. :)
Samuel confirmed that Ren did most of the filming on this one. He looks like he's having so much fun :) The original version of this song was done by an Australian EDM artist called Fisher, the only lyrics are "I'm losing it".
@@taaaa281The first time he met Joe, Joe flipped off a couch and landed on his back shouting 'Swanton bomb!' Refers to it again in Illest of Our Time.
Just an fyi that Ren is dropping the first single off his brand new album this Thursday called " slaughter house". I think you should put it on your forthcoming poll for next weeks' reaction. Also, i think you will really like "bongo bong" by the big push
I find it impossible not to have a smile on my face when watching this. “ Losing It” is an EDM track by Fisher ( Aussie artist). Per usual, Ren has beaten and abused it 😂. Added his specialty ,aka naughty bars ( Back on ‘74) and his wordplay - which is top notch. 💜
By the way, the line "I'm the king of the bongo bong" is a call back to a cover of the song Bongo Bong that he did with The Big Push. You should definitely check that one out, its great!
I think you'd like Down On The Beat, but I think POWER would be your perfect next Ren song - it's one of those that makes you a happier person just hearing it. Lifts your whole day
Fisher is an Australian EDM artist who crafted the original song ("I'm losin' it" being the only vocals), which Ren remixed and rapped to. He's also done a retake of The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony.
Picture Ren taking on Nina Simone, or Bob Marley... Would love to experience you reacting to Ren's band The Big Push! They are as amazing as Ren and they will blow your mind. "Wade in the Water"/Nina Simone's "Trouble So Hard" or Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sherriff"/"Road to Zion" mash-ups are phenomenal. You have seen Romane in "Money Game", he, Goran, Glen and Ren are magical together.
Ren uses a lot of pop culture references in his rap tracks, from film, TV & music. More great fun tracks are What You Want, Love Music 1, 2 & 3 (2 is my fave), Power & Right Here Right Now. Bongo Bong cover with The Big Push is a super cool, acoustic song. So many to choose from. Just dive head first down the rabbit hole, into Ren's own Wonderland.
You saw a bit of Ren’s cheeky side in the retake of Back on 74/Message in a Bottle. Welcome to a big dose of cheek and pure fun! 😂 I fricking love this man’s sense of humour. And isn’t it just lovely to see that he hasn’t lost it with everything he has and is still going through? Hopefully Ren gets to have a lot more fun in the near future and we will all be there to celebrate with him 🖤 Edit: oh and I love how you buckled up and restarted the song at the beginning saying that now you were ready. But you weren’t ready for what was to come 🤣 No one is really. The closest you can get is to expect the unexpected and just accept that you will get your mind blown 😅
The point of the game is to move forward on green BUT not to move when the light is red! This is important in appreciating the camerawork in the closing bars where the zoom /parallax in the last bars are adjusted according to these two words. The SquidGame was won by number 456 (hence the tracksuit)
Guys come on guys please 👍👍👍 and Subscribe 🙏🙏 Nikoletta is one of us and her reactions are just brilliant and breathtaking!! And the surprise at the end are so fabulous and authentic!! Show this gorgeous woman a subscribe!! 🇬🇧🇺🇸🫶🏻🫶🏻
I'm surprised that you did this one. That being said, THIS is my favorite Ren video EVER . And it's "strange" to say that, because I was never that into rap. However, I'm obsessed with EVERYthing Ren. I'm glad you liked this.
Oh Nikoletta I absolutely love you ❤️Sister ❤❤ you are one of the best reaction channels!! Got to look at supporting you because we need you to continue and your reactions have been seen a few people on RENs Patreon 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸❤️❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻 just love you my American sister 🇺🇸🇬🇧🙌🙌🙌🙌
Bongo bong is something you have to see. It’s Ren with his mates from his busking band the Big Push! It’s an excellent song preformed on a roof in Britton. Whole package is an understatement! Ren is the GOAT!!! His band mate Goren plays the mandolin and sings in French. Wait till you see him play lead guitar in the streets of Britton. They draw huge crowds.
If you want a more fun one, I highly recommend ‘Uninvited”. For another rap one, I would suggest to listen to ‘The Hunger’ as it really shows off his flow and cadence switches, hell, his whole rapping ability. Both very good songs to react to. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
I think I've watched this video a hundred times...all the available reactions..Your stunned face and Your criticism give it a new energy though!!! U're super sincere competent passionate and positive! Your mood is so contagious! Thanks for sharing 😘🙏❤️🔥
Pretty please can you consider doing “Dominoes” by Ren. It’s one of his older ones, so I feel like it doesn’t get as much love from the reactors, but it’s so good! Thank you!
I found your channel through the Ren reactions and the first time I heard your "surprise" at the end, I didn't know whether I liked it or not. However, throughout my life I have learned that there are so many variables at play when doing anything and relistened to that song a couple of times until I found that I really liked the add-on of your voice - it really elevates the piece. Think this is your best one yet!
@Nikoletta lol yes this is a fun one to listen to. To answer your questions: 1. He mentioned scoobydoo it's an old cartoon scoobydoo and shaggy "zoinks" 2. I want to tackle this 1. milking the utter. I believe here Ren is saying if something comes natural to someone like his rapping and music milk it for all it's worth. 3. It's Roxan you know how to put on the red light, put on the red light, "Roxan" put on the red light 4. the other red light green light, you heard and the iconic voice and he is wearing the iconic uniform hoodie sweat pants sneakers is none other then the Squid games. Hugely famous about 2-3 years ago some where around there. I think that is all your questions, other then maybe you should have listen to more of Rens old songs from the big push we have been wanting you to do. But all good. This is why i love Ren's rapping over Harry Mack, . He did produce 1 I was sleeping at my computer one night and I need to go through my history and find out which one. Usually most of Hary Mack's rapping is yeah, you know like he is trying to find the words to flow. Oh Nichole im not saying your old, no way but your never too old to start rapping check these 2 out Pete and bas this one you should love >>>>>>>> you may want to do a reaction to this TRUST ME maybe you and charlie. well maybe you should do a reaction first check it out >>>>>>>>>>>> ruclips.net/video/GBuTTz1-IQU/видео.html P.S. forgot, did you do a reaction to money game 3 with charlie yet? PLEASE DO. That 1 I know he would love. Remember God loves you I love you bye Mike
This song is a lyric breakdown nightmare for reactors, lol! There is so much content in there but you did a great job with it. Most other main references have been covered in other comments, Kaiser chiefs, Squid game, bongo bong, etc. For more fun Ren rap you have "The Hunger" & "What you Want" you also have rap flexing in "Illest of our Time" with more great wordplay and pop culture references. Believe it or not you've still only scratched the surface on Ren's artistic range. Still plenty more to find down in this rabbit hole ..... 😊
His references are amazing! I love happy Ren For what I've read, Ren actually managed most of the cinematography and editing on this video, too! He is so talented, man
Been waiting for you to get around tohis rapping vids. This beat is from an Australian DJ named Fisher, Ren took the beat, why it's called a retake, and rapped over it. He is a crazy good rapper. one of the best I have ever heard! Normally he produces his own beats. Plz check out The Hunger next. Trust me...
Your little surprise was very different today! I loved it! In the beginning, some words and at the end beautiful staccatos - Great how you change things up :) Milk that milk that milk that uddeeeeeer :p grin... I never heard this song by Ren before. it was like I discovered it along with you :) héhé
LOVED your reaction, as always! The red light, green light, and track suit with the number 456 are all references to the series Squid Games. "Flip it like a Swanton Bomb" is a reference to a wrestling move where the wrestler flips from the top rope. He uses this reference in a few different songs 🙂 You should definitely watch him perform a cover of the Manu Chao song "Bongo Bong" with his band The Big Push, along with all their other originals and covers. Welcome to the next level of the rabbit hole! 😂
Red light green light is from the Netflix show Squid Game where the contestants in the show have to play the children’s game red light green light and run across the playground but when the girl say red light you stop and if you don’t they got shot! So he’s running for his life in that part! Love your reactions and your surprises have you ever thought about reacting to Taylor Swift? Love both Taylor and Ren!❤️
It's your channel, you pause as much as you want. This is Rap over EDM which is unprecedented in the game. Never apologize for pausing. If someone wants no pauses, the channel is available with the full video and they can do what they want. Such a fun video. Losing It is an EDM Classic by Fisher. Ren filmed most of this himself. Samuel helped but Ren was bored. Couldn't you tell? Bongo Bong is a cover by The Big Push. You go to do that one. It's so fun and has lots of smiling Ren.
The Kaiser Chiefs are a British Group who had a hit with 'Ruby Ruby' (they're named after a south African Soccer team). Swonton Bomb is a wrestling move. Macbeth is either a Shakespeare reference or there's a Golfer called Macbeth.
Love your Ren reactions! You said you want to expand your channel, I think you would really enjoy Falling In Reverse as the singer (who is the only permanent member of the band) is another artist that bends genres and his singing is amazing! They are signed to Epitaph Records which is an independent label and their music videos are unbelievably cinematic. Most reactors start with Watch The World Burn or Popular Monster from them. Would love to see you react to Last Resort Reimagined from Falling In Reverse as well. They touch on a bunch of different genres and i think you would really enjoy their music
haha! this was such a great reaction! i'm loving yours Ren's tour. do you know Aurora? she is so delicate and great, is worth a reaction - runaway live at the nobel prize or her cover of bowie's, life on mars (playing the piano while she sings).
Ren is an incredible rapper, I would love a reaction to Animal Flow or Illest of Our Time. He can really do anything he puts his mind to musically. My favorite reference here is the Swanton Bomb, from Jeff Hardy back in the day.
Great reaction as usual, so fun to watch! For strong rap songs with meaning, look at Genesis, Power, and an older one that I love, Humble. Or my favorite REN song, Seven Sins!
This was so much fun! Great reaction too! I’m sure I requested this but I’d love to see you react to Chinchilla’s live performances of Fingers and 1:5. I also enjoy her Little Girl Gone video. Her voice is so good!
This is the best song about losing things since U2 couldn't find what they were looking for.
😆😆😆
Haha
Yet they found their way into my iTunes
Nicely done!
It might just be a myth, but some say they **still** haven't found what they're looking for.
The red light green light and tracksuit he is wearing is a reference to squid games. I love fun Ren.
Yep, I was looking for this to make sure her question was answered

He has lots of fun ones. Check out "Down on the beat," "Uninvited," "Loco," "what you want," "Love music" parts 1,2,3, and 4 etc
Lmao uninvited is going to be soooo fun
and 1990
Kaiser Chief's are a British Rock Band that had a number 1 with a song called Ruby Ruby Ruby and also mentioned Roxanne put on the Red light (the Police)
You have to admit, when Ren writes happy, he really writes happy.
Now you maybe understand his "naughty bars" comment in back on 74. :) "Does he have more of these?" LOL
LOL Wait till she listens to 'Uninvited"! That's ALL naughty hehe.
@@LiannaBabelior love music part 4 !! 😲
I love that you've done this one. After all the heavy stuff you've done, you owed yourself a fun Ren song.

Wow, thank you Stacey!!! I truly appreciate you 💕
Bongo bong is something you have to see. They draw huge crowds.
i could till you felt this one. that may have been the best surprise yet. great reaction
What's amazing to me is Ren is rapping his own words over another person's beat and doing it seamlessly ❤❤
Got to do SEVEN SINS next !!! 😊
Ren pins his lyrics in the comments. Other than a few typos, they are usually the most accurate.
Thanks!
It was a challenge to do your little surprise on this one, and I totally respect that you did it anyway, YOU are awesome. I adore you.
Ren new song dropping on Thursday 7pm UK Time so excited ❤❤
That was a spectacular surprise. I wasn't sure you could do the jumps but you did pretty good.
I think I've watched this video a hundred times...all the available reactions..Your stunned face and Your criticism give it a new energy though!!! U're super sincere competent passionate and positive! Your mood is so contagious! Thanks for sharing
😘🙏❤️🔥
Pretty please can you consider doing “Dominoes” by Ren. It’s one of his older ones, so I feel like it doesn’t get as much love from the reactors, but it’s so good! Thank you!
I ABSOLUTLY LOVE YOUR REACTIONS TO REN ( yes I am shouting at you lol) boots and cats haaa
Thanks
@Nikoletta lol yes this is a fun one to listen to. To answer your questions:
1. He mentioned scoobydoo it's an old cartoon scoobydoo and shaggy "zoinks"
2. I want to tackle this 1. milking the utter. I believe here Ren is saying if something comes natural to someone like his rapping and music milk it for all it's worth.
3. It's Roxan you know how to put on the red light, put on the red light, "Roxan" put on the red light
4. the other red light green light, you heard and the iconic voice and he is wearing the iconic uniform hoodie sweat pants sneakers is none other then the Squid games.
Oh Nichole im not saying your old, no way but your never too old to start rapping check these 2 out Pete and bas this one you should love >>>>>>>> you may want to do a reaction to this TRUST ME maybe you and charlie. well maybe you should do a reaction first check it out >>>>>>>>>>>> ruclips.net/video/GBuTTz1-IQU/видео.html
P.S. forgot, did you do a reaction to money game 3 with charlie yet? PLEASE DO. That 1 I know he would love.
Remember God loves you I love you bye
Mike
Yay! A new post! Let's gooooooooo
Thanks Dieter!
You've never heard Ren rapping! Genesis live is raw and real.
Ren gives us something different every time !! another Banger get well soon Sick Boi 🐷grab some of The Hunger Nikoletta
"The Hunger" will really show off his rapping ability...
We love a cheeky Ren…😏
Oh yeah... Did we forget to mention that Ren is a GOAT level emcee?
This is still just the tip of the iceburg. There are so many more layers to him.
I seen others doing this one but i waited for you
It was overwhelming on first experience 😂❤but in the best possible way
Fun to see you do one of REN’s fun ones. 🙌🏻
Yeah, this is the same guy who did back on ’74 and Jenny & Screech!
Paul McBeth is known as 'The Beast'. He's a four time world-champion at Disc Golf (i.e Frisbee throwing at targets)
His references are amazing! I love happy Ren
For what I've read, Ren actually managed most of the cinematography and editing on this video, too!
He uses this reference in a few different songs 🙂
You should definitely watch him perform a cover of the Manu Chao song "Bongo Bong" with his band The Big Push, along with all their other originals and covers.
Welcome to the next level of the rabbit hole! 😂
Hello, sis
Ren's talent has no boundaries he was made for music.
Opera-ization of a fast rap song....you're awesome! Just like Ren.
Brilliant reaction to another Ren classic!
Kaiser Chiefs are a Uk band, biggest hit was ‘Ruby ’. Love your reactions & really hope Ren gets wind of your awesome voice!
Ren pins lyrics in comments for us who struggle to catch each word.
I love this song. Ren makes me cry a LOT, so this is the song I go to after a few heavy songs.
haha! this was such a great reaction! i'm loving yours Ren's tour. do you know Aurora? she is so delicate and great, is worth a reaction - runaway live at the nobel prize or her cover of bowie's, life on mars (playing the piano while she sings).
You and Charlie NEED to do the Fred Again Mashup together. Truly.
The Kaiser Chiefs are a British band who had a very famous song called Ruby
Ren is an incredible rapper, I would love a reaction to Animal Flow or Illest of Our Time. He can really do anything he puts his mind to musically. My favorite reference here is the Swanton Bomb, from Jeff Hardy back in the day.
Many people don't get the subversive British humour going back to the 1730s and Hogarth in his paintings, Ren has it a lot!
The "red light, green light" comes from the series Squid Game, as well as the tracksuit he's wearing with 456 on the front and back
He has so much fun stuff .... please look at Sweet Little Lady by The Big Push, also his busking with Sam, Chinchilla ... the list is endless ❤
You have to check out Rens Bongo bong cover by his band The Big Push, mentioned in this video when he is lifting. You will love it.
Great reaction as usual, so fun to watch! For strong rap songs with meaning, look at Genesis, Power, and an older one that I love, Humble. Or my favorite REN song, Seven Sins!
I love this, but “The Hunger” and “Animal Flow” are still my favorite rap songs of his. Great videos, too.
This was so much fun! Great reaction too!
I’m sure I requested this but I’d love to see you react to Chinchilla’s live performances of Fingers and 1:5. I also enjoy her Little Girl Gone video. Her voice is so good!
