If you keep them coming you will have 1000's of subs very quickly. He sings, raps, plays gituar, paino, bass, makes his own beats, composes and beat boxes. @@RobbieSko Lol, I have 8 favorites, because I couldn't narrow them down to one: Heretic, Humble, Hold On, Power, Ready For You, Seven Sins, Sick Boi Part 2, and Ocean. Some, like Sick Boi 2 and Hold On are more "rappy," and others, like Humble, Ocean and Ready For You are more "singy," to coin some words 😆. Humble and Ocean have a more reggae and R+B vibe and showcase his great ability to collaborate with other artists. Heretic is more experimental and "alternative." Man, I could go on and on about his music, so I'll stop there for now. Even though those are my favorites, I love all of his music, including that of his band, The Big Push. Look forward to more reactions! I also agree with most of the Renegades here that Hi Ren and Sick Boi are the best place to start. Just a bit of info. Ren produce almost all of his own beats, plays multiple instruments (all self taught) writes all the music for multiple instruments. He edits all his videos and is the king of one take videos. He always has an important message to tell and as a totally independent artists he’s not tied by what the industry dictates him to be. Ren has written some of the most important and inspiring music of my lifetime and he’s done all of this while battling a “mystery” illness that at times kept him in bed 23 hrs a day - after 7 years he found out it was Lyme disease but by that time it had done irreparable damage to his body and brain. All I can say is buckle up you’re in for the ride of a lifetime.

@@RobbieSko Lol, I have 8 favorites, because I couldn't narrow them down to one: Heretic, Humble, Hold On, Power, Ready For You, Seven Sins, Sick Boi Part 2, and Ocean. Some, like Sick Boi 2 and Hold On are more "rappy," and others, like Humble, Ocean and Ready For You are more "singy," to coin some words 😆.
Humble and Ocean have a more reggae and R+B vibe and showcase his great ability to collaborate with other artists. Heretic is more experimental and "alternative." Man, I could go on and on about his music, so I'll stop there for now. Even though those are my favorites, I love all of his music, including that of his band, The Big Push. Look forward to more reactions! I also agree with most of the Renegades here that Hi Ren and Sick Boi are the best place to start. And to get a solid idea of his musical flexibility and storytelling talent, there's the full version of The Tale of Jenny and Screech, which includes three tales put together as one video.
I'm an old musician (trombone, guitar, vocals) who had been performing since the 1960's as a kid--and Ren is one of the most inspirational musicians/entertainers I've ever encountered!

Loved watching this & omg I wish I could play by ear like that!! Best I could hope for is stumbling through it a whole bunch of times with the sheet music in front of me until it starts sounding kind of like it’s supposed to 😂 573 times later you can take the sheet music away. Probably should have put more time into practicing when I took piano lessons as a kid, but at least some of it stuck 😉

Just a bit of info. Ren produce almost all of his own beats, plays multiple instruments (all self taught) writes all the music for multiple instruments. He edits all his videos and is the king of one take videos. He always has an important message to tell and as a totally independent artists he’s not tied by what the industry dictates him to be. Ren has written some of the most important and inspiring music of my lifetime and he’s done all of this while battling a “mystery” illness that at times kept him in bed 23 hrs a day - after 7 years he found out it was Lyme disease but by that time it had done irreparable damage to his body and brain. All I can say is buckle up you’re in for the ride of a lifetime.

I see you’re a piano player so I would request that you listen to mackay it’s his piano piece. He’s an incredible person he suffers from Lyme disease and has been back and forth from England to Canada. He was recently in hospital, a lot of his music is based on his experiences. He’s done trilogy’s like jenny and screech and money game. You need to listen to the lyrics aswell as the music because his music touches all of us in many different ways. He’s had a lot of things happen in his short life he’s one of the best British artists at the moment. Hi ren is a good starter for you unless you want to see what his piano is like. He has many incredible thought provoking songs he’s an inspiration to many. I hope you enjoy the ren rabbit hole you’ve jumped into because it’s gonna be an amazing journey. Love from the uk!
