I've noticed a bunch of those sorts of references in Ren's lyrics.
In Murderer he says "See me freestyle freely" which I'm pretty sure is a reference to the Em lyric from Business...I could be wrong about that one, as it's not an exact reference.
Also "drop it like it's hot" was a clear reference to Snoop.
Love when you nerd out over references and flows and really dig deep into the influences and techniques for us.

Nah that track isn't it the source, it also sampled Lyn Collins - Think (about it) (a track which also produced the infamous "think break" which was for example used in dozens and dozens of dnb tracks)

Living in constant pain, severe anxiety, spinal cord nerve damage, autoimmune disease. I hardly leave my house except for dr appts and therapy appts, some days don’t leave bed, praying to god to bring me home. Since listen to REN I’ve started to try to find something positive out of my situation. Some days are better than others…..757❤️

Man, this song is a vibe, just loved it. My jaw dropped the first time I heard it, it's just so fun to see him be more tongue in cheek, and as person whose first language is spanish that 2 spanish words in the hook, and you picking up that reference made it 100 times better for me.
