Hyperlapses feel more like my children than anything else that I shoot. The time and the effort just gets me so invested in them. Even these "failed" shots have so much creative value so thank you!

As for preference I would choose the before, but both looks stunning ❤
I admire your dedication and creativity but on this one, I prefer the before version.
I would like to see a hyperlapse in davinci where you show more details on lining up each shot with a cross hair or other reference point as I feel the stabiliser is almost useless in this software. Thanks for the vid. Not being happy with the end result nearly always means you’re learning lol. So not a complete failure.

The before is cool!
time to partner with a drone pilot (assuming that's allowed in London) because then you can get above the obstructions and circle like a vulture. In the U.S. we have a licensing exemption for any drone that weights less than 250g and DJI makes a nice one. The images won't compare to what you get with your super DSLR but you can maintain constant distance and angle.
zero drones allowed in london unless with permits, insurance etc I recently sold mine!
not bad at all. maybe if you did a few extra shots in each location do add movement you could have a better and smooth result. but first time i saw i was amazed. didnt look like a fail to me!

I really sorry to say, but I don't care for either of them. They're a bit too choppy for my aging eyes. The subject is just too obscured by the close-in surrounding buildings. This eliminated the possibility of having many more shots from which to create a smoother end experience. Just my humble opinion, of course.
I agree with you! Just out of the two I shot I eventually preferred the first one
before was better
You might have better luck with Torre Glòries in Barcelona, which has similar “features” to the Gherkin. 🍆👀
