Did yall even play the games? This video is weak and short. You do a 30-plus episode on Breaking Bad, a show that happened years ago, but you just spent 11 minutes on an 8 episode masterpiece that is based on 7 games that even you said were great? If you thought this, then you would have had better and more accurate videos made
Gonna stop part way....sorry. I usually like your videos, but more research = better videos. The last scene was clearly New Vegas....its even in the background of thumbnails for fallout games.
Mr House!!!! Last scene of the episode Mohave desert
I am now telling RUclips to never suggest your channel. You just lost hard
WTF who wrote this , do they not know what NEW VEGAS looks like let alone who made what FFS . Ryan WTF dude . how could you have recorded this with out fact checking first to avoid the backlash , do yourself a HUGE FAVOUR and EDIT THIS VIDEO ASAP and why did you do 1 hr breakdowns longer then you did for this whole show , since when did SC become this lazy and wrong you got make 3 facts actually right IF THAT

Ik right? Jesus this guy is new

Fr I saw that and instantly thought of the stratosphere. It could be that the Enclave stay in Vegas or something like that
It's very possible that the Enclave or VaultTec remnants are in New Vegas
How can you have a “fallout ending explained” and not know a single thing about fallout
Beginning of this I was gonna comment that I’m surprised he only made 1 video on this series compared to the usual 1 video per episode for other series… held my comment until the end and I agree with yours 😅
Always come here for series breakdowns, think I may search elsewhere for this series.
Any reason we only got this one video instead of a breakdown for each episode?
Would really love to watch a whole series breakdown.

MONEY BRO MONEY. These are cashgrab eps
The fact that he called New Vegas an Enclave city makes me think whoever wrote this isn't too clued up on Fallout.
So no enclave references in the the show😢
@@helmethead9496 There are, but way way less than what Ryan Arey is saying there is.
I came here to see if anyone noticed that. Which is funny because besides this one miss, they nailed everything else and did pretty decent homework.
Exactly
Technically he's dead wrong yea, buuuut the enclave did technically start in the US military before the war and were the once who technically started vault tec
How has no one talked about Mr. House in that VaultTec room? The mustache gave it away!
I knew that was who i thought it was even before the mustache i saw rob co and knew
yep the CEO of Rob-Co. I had a huge grin on my face when I saw that. and when we see hank walking to new Vegas at the end.
or the poster of "The Man and his Dog" in The Ghoul/Cooper Howard's prewar house thats a clear reference to the IRL movie The Boy and His Dog wich was one of the inspirations for the original fallout games
BIG MT CEO in that room is actually Sinclair from Dead Money DLC
Subtitles also list hum as Housr
This series slaps. They left it on a great cliffhanger. I'm gonna need them to hurry up and get season 2 out ASAFP.
We have two years before we get the second season but the wait will definitely be worth it
Good job overall, but you got a few things wrong:
1. RobCo didn’t make the Mr. Handy robots, that was General Atomics
2. The leader of the Brotherhood chapter seen in the show is called an Elder, not a cleric
3. The location Hank is going to at the end is New Vegas, not an enclave base/city. He’s likely going to meet Robert House (who we saw at the the Vault Tec meeting) or he’s going to use Robert House’s Securitrons and facilities in the Mojave wasteland for some malicious intent

Even the end credits showed the Securitron robots inactive on the ground!
You guys are good in catching missed details but you stumbled on a lot of little details like this one.
It also says new Vegas on the sign
The base is in New Vegas. Or near. Obviously. And Mr. House, the CEO of Rob-Co, was in the Vault-Tech meeting flashback.
They stumbled on *all* the details in this video. It's like whoever wrote this doesn't know a thing about Fallout.

You got some things wrong in this video.
1. Hank isn't looking at an Enclave city, he's looking at New Vegas. This is also confirmed in the credits scene since you can see various important locations in New Vegas like the Lucky 38.
2. The Mr. Handy model is created by General Atomics, not RobCo. Even though RobCo did collaborate a little in its creation.
3. The Enclave supposedly rose from the remains of the US Government, not necessarily a bunch of corporate fatcats. Moreover, Mr. House (one of the people that appears in the meeting) is a character in New Vegas who explicitly did not join the Enclave. Also, the Enclave still treats Vault-Tec as a different entity. So I don't know where you guys got the idea that the people in that meeting would become the Enclave.

@@danielfazio275 That was a pretty glaring oversight to miss
I loved the fact that the Water Chip was broken as that is the first mission in the original Fallout. 😁😁 Lots of great little bits of game items and places mentioned within the series. Although the lack of searching for weapons and stuff and finding bottlecaps, felt wrong.
Leaving vault to find a father/loved one. And the inevitable escort quest followed by a bunch of side quests.
The enclave are the remnants of the pre war government but vault tech are a different group. The enclave are mostly destroyed by the timeline of this show hence why they are called the "Enclave Remnant"

@@IsaihStewart Well the NCR although corrupt offered a safe haven for the followers of the apocalypse who were doing real good inside the NCR with agriculture ect so many fans assumed that they would eventually lead to political change within the NCR and make it more democratic. Really it is a sad end for what was one of the few good possibilities in the Fallout post-war timeline but maybe makes more sense in terms of having more of a wild west styled wasteland like the show is trying to center it's story around.

It really was, I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. Now I just want to play Fallout again
First time screencrush has missed over half the game references and easter eggs in a review. To the point of simply avoiding it even.
No offense Ryan, i like your show, i come here mainly for star wars content and back when i cared about marvel that as well because you are super knowledgeable and you have pointed out things i missed. However with fallout you clearly dont get a lot of the plot points, which is fine, its how you learn but im worried it will give people the wrong impression of the lore. I feel like if you are to make more fallout videos in the future you should absolutely collaborate with a fallout lore youtuber, it could be good gor both channels and youd be exposed to the more Nuanced lore that less people may know

Im betting the Ghouls family is in Lucy's vault. His wife before the bombs said she had an idea for 3 vaults linked(one being a cryo unit). He says at the end "Where is my family". He knows they're not dead, either alive somewhere or still frozen. Coop at the birthday party is divorced, so obviously some time has passed since the board meeting he listened to by audio bug. I think his wife figured out it was him, they divorced, the bombs dropped and they meet up at the vault. His daughter and ex wife goes in but he cant because she took him off the list or VT made the decision after the spying he did.
I think she's the current overseer of vault 33.
@@domri4203 Betty? I don't know how they would spin that. Betty is older than the last time we see Coops wife but should still be able to see some resemblance if it is her. I think the family is or was in the vault. The problem with my original theory is if they met at the vault then he would know where they are/were. So something had to have happened in the time between the bomb drop and Vault closing where he losses them location wise and why he's looking for them in the present. I need to go back and watch the last episode, see if theres any names that can be made out while Norm is looking through the cryo computer. That would be a huge early giveaway though.
No, Betty (33 Overseer) was the receptionist at The Ghoul's wife's office, ho brings in the young fan Henry.

Loved every second of this, even with the changes to lore. Great show, bring on season 2
Hank probably doesn't even know the Enclave still exists. The man is looking at the city of New Vegas. CX404 (not Dogmeat) is a girl. Also, the graphic of the Steam page for Fallout 1 clearly shows the release date as 9/30/97, not 10/10/97.
I saw that too but I believe the North America release was 10/10/97
CX404 is later called Dogmeat by The Ghoul
Yes Dogmeat.
Every dog in Fallout is Dogmeat, except Rex.
Think that was one of the best series I seen, it was so well done
Bruh. I get that people who don’t play the game still will watch this show, but you need to fact check yourself. The REASON the finale was SOO GOOD, is because Hank was looking out at New Vegas. This is important and nostalgic and fucking amazing because Bethesda has given new Vegas the cold shoulder so much over the years, and new Vegas is regarded as one of if not the best fallout.
The fact that you say it has anything to do with the enclave is so not cannon or close to correct. The enclave never had rule over new Vegas or even were there.
New Vegas came out in 2010, so it’s been 14 years since we’ve seen or heard of what’s been happening there, the show takes place after the game and will show us the cannon outcome of who rules new Vegas. In the game the faction that ruled depends on who you as the player chose to side with, but now we will see cannoly what happened.
Also Mr house is 1 of the options you can chose to side with in new Vegas, so seeing him in the show really hints at him winning.
Nerd
I need season 2 like Lucy needed a stimpak in episode 1
Did anybody see that Deathclaw skull at the end of the last episode?
Ohhhh hell yea I did👀
I cant believe the actress that plays Lucy was the same little girl in Maleficent when she played as young maleficent, its been a decade since that movie and she looks gorgeous. The show was amazing, binge watched the whole thing. Cant believe how good it actually was.
She’s also jinx from arcane she knows how to pick ‘em clearly two 10/10 videogame adaptions
For me shes Jacky from Yellowjackets.
I like the idea that Maximus has an incredibly high luck stat. Makes him more… digestible

I thought it was!
It looks too much like it to not be
It is. The deathclaw skull must mean he’s near deathclaw sanctuary which is near new Vegas
Yes that was New Vegas, as much as I like Ryan, he gets a lot of the information here wrong
It's New Vegas, if you watch the post credit you can hear NV theme and see the strip and sign. Dude in the video is clueless.
No episode breakdown? Would love that pls
It would be hard to do an episode breakdown video since all episodes got dropped at once
@5ftOfRage, why would that matter? Even if someone binged all 8 episodes, they might like to get a breakdown on each individual one.
Depending on which ending for New Vegas Bethesda deems cannon, the next season should be interesting.
My guess is that they will go with the Mr. House victory ending as it looks like NV is a dead city which would mean that House defeated the NCR and NV chapter of the BoS. They could also tie in the Sierra Madre and BIG MT (as seen in the board meeting) as both were still operational.
Overall, as a long time fan of the games, I think they did a pretty good job. I even liked that they changed gulpers from mutated salamanders to mutated Axolotls.
Axolotls are salamanders.
I think a legion win can probably be ruled out (maybe a Lanius win given the devastation in NV). I think NV would still be prosperous under House; he had all the cards assuming the Courier helped. I can't see them canonising courier 6 so Yes-Men ending is probably out the question (Yes-Man himself another matter). I think NCR victory makes the most sense. House dies, then when the NCR collapses; NV does as well. A house ending by far seemed like the most prosperous (especially if the Courier decimates the Legion).
I liked how at the end, her dad and malidovia are both yelling at her about what choice to make…just like the games where you’re faced with multiple choices with different outcomes for the game.
4:17 I max out luck and agility and Mr. Magoo my way through the games
By reading the comments about this guy not knowing what New Vegas looks like scares me that he's explaining anything.
He's not even the writer for most of these episodes, is he? He's just the host.

This show was incredible, and each episode had so many fun, neat things going on. Plenty of Easter eggs that a non-gamer like myself definitely missed. I’m glad to see this video, but I am surprised that you didn’t do an episode by episode breakdown of it. I’d really like that, it’s not too late.
It's harder to do breakdowns when a show drops all in one day but we have a couple of Fallout easter egg videos being made for our Instagram and Tik Tok accounts if that interests you.
The final shot was New Vegas ♠️
Does this guy seriously not know what New Vegas is?
I think Maximus more exemplifies the player who wants to come off as the hero but still does "bad karma" actions, in the eyes of the stroy he did what was right, but he did it in all the wrong ways. Wee do see some character growth when he tries to stop Dane from giving him credit for killing Moldaver
Overall they did an amazing job I don’t really have anything I can think to complain about.
I love how each character feels like it’s a different play style a player might use if this was a game.
There’s also a lot of hidden references to the Fallout modding community that may have been unintentional but it does canonize a lot of popular mods for various fallout games, especially in the last episode look at the uniforms the NCR are wearing a lot of those guys are wearing Modern day military tactical gear commonly seen in mods mixed with more lore accurate combat armor.
Another big thing I noticed that I don’t think anyone else has mentioned is the Ruger Mini-14 is now cannon in the fallout universe, it’s seen multiple times in the show, it’s the rifle Ma June uses in Philly and the rifle Lucy has slung over her shoulder when her and the ghoul walk off towards then Hollywood Sign. The mini-14 is a real world gun thats New Vegas mod has 109,000+ downloads as of writing this.
Usually love ScreenCrush videos, but like others have said there should have been 1 video per episode and so many missed details/erroneous ones.

This show will likely be declared non-canon. I hope.
The show takes place wayy after new Vegas
@Thagomizer
It's canon. There would be no way, Bethesda and Todd Howard helped make this show based upon their IP not canon...
That would be stupid to release to fo5 right after the few seasons and declare this show non canon..
It's canon. And while I'm a huge NCR fan and RIP my rangers, it sort of concluded the battle between the NCR and the Brotherhood that was already established in New Vegas..
Which theoretically would make sense because even in New Vegas...it was implied that the NCR wouldn't last and would eventually succumb because of its own red tape and other government problems. It's why it was struggling initially against ceasers legions despite the smaller forces of the legion.
Even the brotherhood outmatched the NCR in most ways besides numbers..which was also alluded to in New Vegas at Helios one.
I could go on and on about how as unfortunately it is with the sudden demise of the NCR...anf how poorly it might have been executed...
It does sadly fall into line with the established lore
One of the best season finales of any show. So many details given, no dumb Lost cliffhanger and so much potential for the next season.
An interesting detail i noticed, they say a denizen of the enclave ESCAPED meaning the brotherhood might using them a la an operation paperclip esque operation
I really wish they hadn't retconned the NCR and erased so much of the original Fallout lore.
It was inevitable, because war never changes.
I’ll add without going in to spoilers: the NCR definitely plays a part by the end of the series.
@@EvanAdnamsThat's bullshit. The point of "war never changes" isn't that violent conflict is inevitable, but the unasked questions that are implied to follow, like "Where do we go from here?". Every Fallout game in the Black Isle/Obsidian canon is about this question in some way or another, whether there is any hope for humanity (the theme of Fallout 1), what price is worth paying for the return of civilization (the theme of Fallout 2) and what society is worth sustaining (the theme of New Vegas). The West Coast Fallouts were about what civilizations would arise from the ashes of a post-nuclear war.
Bethesda's Fallouts are just about the ashes. If the "wasteland" phase of the post-apocalypse is more important to you than the "frontier" phase, then the obvious answer is to set your Fallout story earlier in the timeline, or somewhere else. Not to nuke the West Coast.
There's a reason many fans of Aliens hate Alien 3, and why many fans of Terminator 1 and 2 hate Terminator Dark Fate. Rendering the previous entries of a series pointless for the sake of maintaining an insultingly redundant storyline is the easiest way to alienate me as an audience member.
With luck, this show will be declared non-canon.

I still can’t get over how the show managed to write the most clever and interesting backstory for Vault Boy that we didn’t know we needed.
Really disappointed you guys aren't doing episodic breakdowns for this show
Max is the Lucky build, the guy is just that lucky
I may have cracked one of Fallout's biggest mysteries.
I think, despite the consensus up to this point being that Vault-Tec dropped the bombs, that we will come to discover that RobCo. was the one who actually caused (and benefitted the most) from the Great War.
In light of comments made by Tim Cain re: Vault-Tec presumably dropping the bombs, I started thinking about how it wouldn't make sense (in the Prime series at least) for Vault-Tec to be the ultimate perpetrators of the Great War. People have pointed out that it would be pretty inhumane for Barb to have dropped the bombs while her daughter was out and about. And I don't think that she did. I think that the intention of Vault-Tec (and Barb) was to drop one bomb, to scare everyone into the shelters. But I think RobCo. managed to infiltrate Vault-Tec and dropped the bombs. Or perhaps RobCo worked with West Tek in building their own arsenal.
Mr. House was the most interested in *how* Vault-Tec was going to "guarantee results." Mr. House knew (or believed) that Vegas was protected from the nukes, securing his empire. Mr. House has a contingency plan for his survival. Mr. House has the most to gain and the least to lose from the nuking. *And* this neatly ties in with Hank McClean's story.
How did Hank get a nuke to drop on Shady Sands? Who did Hank go to at the end of Season 1? How did Hank get the job conveniently close to Vault-Tec's upper echelon, conveniently close to the time the bombs were going to drop? The answer to all is the same: RobCo.
Its definitely New Vegas, the question is, is whoever runs vault tec still active, we have never found out whos really pulling the strings, or is the enclave secretly in control of vault tec? I assume hes going to visit Robert House as he knows he is still a potentially active pre war player who probably has connections.
I waited the whole season to see, super mutants, and never got to see them. But I will say fallout three was one of my favorite games of all time and still is. And this brought back memories of playing it. Fallout four not so much. Fallout three and new Vegas though were great.
Great show, looking fwd to season 2
A few things to put in mind for y’all, the legion will likely be in season 2 and new Vegas has changed the show takes about 60 years after new Vegas so yes it’s possible the enclave may be there which I honestly think so which I see many people deny, just one thing to say for sure the next season is gonna be gooood, I hope to maybe see the Appalachia area in the future maybe with a new B plot despite the hate for fallout 76 it does have a lot of cool aspects and one thing that can connect to the story is the fact you can nuke the map showing that nuclear power like that is still present
New vegas is in 2281. The show is in 2296
The show is awesome and there is nothing more to comment on that...But did you guys notice the sound track, it really transported you that era...Perfect selection of retro music played at exactly the right moment ..The music guys deserve more recognition for their part in making the show such a hit..
Thats how the game is
It was new vegas if you watched the cards in the credits, but for some reason NV has been destroyed. Also every FO fan should recognize The Lucky 38
Maximus hurt face made my face hurt
Are you going to do every episode or just the ending?
I loved it. I played all the games and really enjoyed the show. My wife hasn’t played any of them and she loved it too. Hardest part is waiting for next season.
the only thing i could ask for is season 2 is the fatman with the whistling sound effect.
I love how the last spark of the NCR ignites in maximus just as he becomes a knight, in what could be a new chapter for the brotherhood as well. Shaking things up.
My wife and I binged watch all episodes today. Had to watch it to the end - Loved it!
Are you doing a review for every episode? Or did I miss those somewhere
Dear ScreenCrush: Please play Fallout New Vegas!!! That's where the second season may lead. Thank you and greetings from Bolivia.
Apart from the completely missing that we’re looking at Vegas, I like that we could see little towns surrounding the city.
Walton Goggins was absolutely superb in this show! Has to be single-handedly the best video game adaptation I’ve seen to date 🙌🏻
