It was not the worst restaurant, Amy had one of the cleanest kitchens on that show. It just had the worst owners, Gordon realized anything he tried the change would be pointless because Amy and Sam were unwilling to change. They didn't want his help, they only wanted validation.
I love the UK series, but there's something satisfying about the US version. Even though its filmed to be kind of schlocky, you know those kitchens are real.
None of the restaurants that Gordon Ramsay visited were fake, though most of them are now closed down mostly because the owners went back to their old ways.
It was definitely the worst when it came to management and how they treated their customers, but definitely not the worst when it came to bad food, unclean kitchens and terrible service.
As bad as this was, I think the hotel episode where one of the owners had diarrhoea on the floor bests it. I think they also had cockroaches living in their fridges.
Honestly hated the old neighborhood episode just because the restuarant always irked me. Their food was gross and the whole premise was filled with dust and gunk. Even if some of the other episodes had terrible food, they at least looked somewhat appetizing. This one in particular just disgusted me which is why I never watched that episode ever again.
I totally agree. Amy's Baking Company was beyond saving and to this day, they are the only restaurant that Gordon Ramsay tried to help that was beyond saving, he was close to walking out of a few others before and after but Amy's Baking Company was the only one where he actually threw in the towel to this day. It's actually a message to tell future restaurants that Gordon will try to help to listen or he's outta there.
Honestly, I think the Hotel Hell owner who said “ExCUUUSE me.” could be a competitor to Amy in worst managers, he also treated his staff terribly & didn’t even pay them from what I remember
Amy’s kitchen was beautiful ngl …. But the problem was the owners and the food was disgusting easy fix but they did not want to be critiqued 😂😂 they wanted to be praised
Your analysis is super-weird. 1) You ignored the fact that the food Amy actually made was all panned and people hated it. 2) They never told ppl their cakes were 2nd-hand, meaning they're lying to customers and the show. 3) Those scummy practices made up the entire business. The only positive of them was they were actually somewhat clean compared to other establishments on the show...but they were definitely among the worst because no amount of criticism ever landed with them. That definitely makes them top 2 or 3 worst.
As soon as i head "the old neighborhood" i instantly remembered it was the place with the couches with garbage in them Also didnt gordon bring up to them how many people have probably farted in their old chairs over the course of 40 years?
yeah cause if i recall: the baked desserts weren't even made in the restaurant. they were made from some store like Kroger or something. they honestly tried to make it out like the wife was making them when they didn't.
The only reality show I enjoyed was Mythbusters. Those guys were a blast to watch, and I loved seeing them use their engineering skills to build crazy inventions! It was fun and I learned things!
I loved that show, I also did find censorship on that show ironically hilarious. They couldn't say the word Viagra, but would teach you how to make an explosive with household items. 🤣
I have to admit..I put cooking spray on my meat too before putting it in the pan or on a baking sheet. It's not that disgusting. My meat comes out great because it cooks off when I flip them.
I think if Sam and Amy (Especially the latter.) had listened to Gordon and got rid of some of the less than desirable menu items, such as the raviolis, and simplified the menu, then the restaurant wouldn't have had the reputation it had.
I wouldn't say that The Old Neighborhood was the worst either. The true worst would have to be Mill Street Bistro, the one that was owned by Joe Nagy (who's last name couldn't be any more apt). Combine the awful sanitation and food from Old Neighborhood with what could debatably be called 'slightly less' scummy practices compared to Amy's Baking Company, and you'd get Mill Street Bistro. Not only that, but Joe sued Gordon and the KN team after the episode came out. About the only thing the differentiates Joe from Amy is that he at least partially knew how to save face. Seriously, look up the Mill Street Bistro 2 parter. It's honestly incredible how narcissistic and tyranical Joe is. The only reason he doesn't get the same notoriety is that he was successfully able to string Gordon along so that he didn't walk out like he did at Amy's. If he hadn't been able to do so, he likely would have gotten even worse treatment from the KN fans than Amy and her husband got.
@@mediamementosofficial She can't handle the truth. Her cooking sucks and her attitude sucks even more. I doubt she will ever be successful in anything with her attitude. 6:44 - "They put their meat termometers in the wall!" - Well, then, where do you think they should be placed? I'm sure not in the wall, but still, where then? Also, your "Ol' Shoes!" part at 7:05 was downright HYSTERICAL! Great job on this video! I can congratulate you for standing with your opinion about Amy's Baking Company. I'm also not to saying they were not terrible people and restaurant owners - they were. But that vitriolic hatebase they received simply shows, how strongly one person's opinion, expressed in an obscene, aggressive and harsh way, can affect on the sanity of millions. Of millions. Of MILLIONS! Of people. I don't wish you the same millions blindly following your opinions, as Gordon once has got. Or Nostalgia Critic. Or AVGN. Or Mr. Enter. And well, I'm also not big fan of Reality TV shows... As an animation lover, out of Live Action TV, I prefer the News. Also, what's so disgusting about the presidency of James Buchanan? I just didn't get this joke. Also, also, the soundtrack for this video was awesome! Ol' Shoes!

Exactly!
"Please, Gordon, tell The Haters that they're wrong! Meow meow!"
Amy even keeps replying to comments on videos about her, she did it to one of my comments yesterday

United States of America can be a very chaos place at times. Trust me. I live here.
None of the restaurants that Gordon Ramsay visited were fake, though most of them are now closed down mostly because the owners went back to their old ways.
no one said amy's baking company was the worst restaurant. it was badly managed from the owners
It wasn't the worst, even Gordon complimented some of the desserts. But the owner Amy was definitely NUTS.
i read somewhere that those desserts were store-bought. maybe it's just a rumor, but it seems possible

Fiesta sunrise was pretty wak!
Everything was cooked Friday.
Dillons was bugged out and food served rotten.

It wasn't the restaurant itself that was bad; they had an immaculate kitchen and tasty baked goods. It was the owners that were terrible.
yeah cause if i recall: the baked desserts weren't even made in the restaurant. they were made from some store like Kroger or something. they honestly tried to make it out like the wife was making them when they didn't.
Where's the lamb sauce?
Not funny anymore
wrong series, wise-guy.
Wait, the Old Neighborhood is worse than the Burger Kitchen episode? I highly disagree, especially since the owner was the worst.
I’m not too big on reality shows either
Same here, but there's something about Gordon Ramsay's shows that make them good.
Dude Dylan’s/Purnima (from the first US episode) was the absolute FILTHIEST (in my humble opinion)
The only reality show I enjoyed was Mythbusters. Those guys were a blast to watch, and I loved seeing them use their engineering skills to build crazy inventions! It was fun and I learned things!
Yeah and it was a really intelligent and fun show to watch, unlike many other reality tv shows

nah man its bad but everyone forgets about seascape 🤮
How about the one at the Mexican restaurant. The one where brings out the fried beans in a trash can.
I've worked at an independent restaurant, and I've seen some of the burger patties sprayed with non-stick.
The burgers are still good, but still.
Not the worst kitchen. but the world's most crazy attitudes.
You sound like Brandon "Badger" Mayhew from Breaking Bad
Mine was roxxy's burger restaurant in new york
Drawn together is the best series known to man😂 shit made me laugh when I was younger
