"how dare they cancel us? its not like we admitted to slacking off for a whole season to play xbox or anything.....oh wait"
Wait really?
They did! But that is why that work is work, but play XBox is play XBox!
They decided to watch Netflix and RUclips all day and play video games they bragged about that
This movie was one of those cases where the creators seemed to work better with TV restrictions. The concept of all the characters going home to discover they were all rip offs of existing properties was such a missed opportunity.
That was a sudden change though .. out of the show yes they where parodies but in it's universe they where actually apart of the world Clara knew the Disney princesses foxy Hannah Barbera ect
@@drewhaynes1874 the Drawn Together characters did know other characters from their universes but for example when Clara returned to the Disney princess world she was not treated well by the others. That could have been a great thread explaining why the Drawn Together house was populated to begin with. The Drawn Together characters were not well liked in their own universes and considered lesser than the more established characters.
@@latenightpapercuts I think the fact that they were fake characters was a play on the fact that "reality TV" is FAKE which is actually clever. The increased nudity and swearing is a play on it being a Movie. Anyone who's watched the Fatal Fury OVA's will tell you that the Motion Picture has tons of Nudity.
@@Fenris30 But what did it add to the story?
Yeah, but the movie wasn’t really continuation of the show. It was kind of like based off the show. It was a commentary on not only the shows cancellation but also a commentary on South Park and other factors. The show knew it was dead at this point, so I didn’t care what it said even if I did have been riding and it was rushed it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s OK for what it was.
"It has to build, especially with Shock humor."
Good example of this, one episode of American Dad had Francine go under some chemical burns on her face. Until the ending, we only see her from behind or blocked by something, and are given the reactions of other characters rather than shown anything actually gross or shocking [minus a joke about a skin flake]. Up until the end, we the audience are left in the dark, so when we DO see her pretty messed up face at the end for like, 5 seconds, its much more shocking. If we saw it the whole episode, by the end we'd be bored of it. But they knew this, and it worked as a joke, with a long worth it build up.
It's psychological, like the first Jaws movie. There you never get to see anything of the actual shark until near the end of the movie, leaving the audience to try and imagine the shark in their minds.
Good point, bad episode
True
South Park is insanely cheap to produce and that’s part of why they’re still around. Now they take advantage of the fact they’re quick and cheap to produce to do social commentary otherwise unable to be done in animated shows cause it would take too long and it’s no longer relevant yes, but this is also because they’re ontop of it. They are ontop of their show and deadlines to make it work. Drawn Together doesn’t need to really be topical, just wacky and zany cause that’s the point of doing these archetypes in the first place, to take something familiar and do something unexpected with it.
y'know a movie's bad when even the most die hard fans hate it.
Yep
The Drawn Together Movie should be a lesson on how not to make a piece of media out of pure spite.
I had no idea there even WAS a movie. All I remember about Drawn Together was that everyone seemed to hate it. EVERYONE! Even Adult Swim took a pot shot at it in one of their bumps when they addressed viewer mail asking if every American cartoon was supposed to be funny and they answered "No, just look at drawn together" and a bunch of magazines rating it F at the time.
That’s because it’s not good.
@@harrylane4 I guess if crude, offensive humor is up your alley but otherwise yeah
@@harrylane4 it was hilarious
It can definitely be funny at times
Is there any link to this media
I honestly think they just made this movie because they had a deal with Comedy Central to create a movie as a final send-off and this is their Fu to them in my opinion. Also congrats on the 10,000 subscribers I just joined a while ago and your continent is awesome.
Hey, I'm looking for a "Rusty Shackleford"? I heard he commented on this video and you look a lot like him... you wouldn't happen to know who I'm talking about, would you? He owes a LOT of money to the government, y'see...
It was also a big FU to Israel.😆
Doesnt really matter if the movie is made in Toon boom. The budget is just really low. Shows like The lion guard or tangled were made in toon boom and they had disney tier animation. It just depends on the budget
The G4 MLP movie was animated in Toon Boom and that looked amazing!
Hey again
Rocky rakoon you watch media mementos
On the lost media wiki as it turns out, a 4th season WAS wanted by comedy central but there was a misunderstanding and the creators never got to it
I think what would've made it feel more like a Drawn Together movie is if all the villains from up to that point got revived somehow, ISRAEL and The Network Head could still be the main villains.
Hero has to fight Super Nanny, Wooldoor goes up against the Veggie Fables (Or just Bob the Cucumber, granted that'd be licensing hell, maybe give them a redesign?) Spanky's ex Charlotte becomes a giant Arachnid psycho killer, LingLing has one last battle with his trainer, Xandir gets kicked out of an lgbt bar that thinks even he's too fruity, Toot has an encounter with the Jelly Doughnut Babes, Clara stands up to her Bigoted Father once more (they should've never killed Clara to begin with even if she became a villain herself as the show went on.) and Foxy uses her smarts to defeat the Network head.
Also, it should've ended with the SMT girl joining the Drawn Together cast, the DT crew realizing it's okay that they're not as popular as South Park, and the Make A Point Wizard undoing the explosion, everyone chips in and rebuilds the Drawn Together house, maybe a new cast takes the old ones spot since they had their fun, and the credits roll.
As Pieguyrulz once stated: I sure hope this doesn't sound like one big fanfiction, because it seems like such an obvious thing they would do.
now THAT'S the drawn together movie id watch
I love this show even the third season. Not the movie. They didn't even bother to make the Spanish dub for that anyway
Pero si el doblaje es lo que adoramos del show en Latinoamérica. Eso explica por qué no había oído de la película.
But the dub is what we love about the show in latinoamerica and that explain why we didnt heard about the movie before.
@@cofferhead1123 eso es cierto. De igual forma incluso el doblaje no la hubiera salvado, es tan mala que es mejor olvidarse de esa película.
That's true. Anyway, even the dub wouldn't have saved this movie, it's so bad that is better to just forget about it
As a parent who loved Drawn Together didn’t the parents groups know they could act like parents and not let their kids watch an inappropriate show… like I did. I watched it my son did not. It wasn’t hard either. I just didn’t put it on until he went to bed. Problem solved!
So... If you don't like the show, the movie is an abomination. But if you like the show, the movie is an EVEN BIGGER abomination.
What.
Yeah, pretty much
"The Drawn Together Paradox" lol
@@mediamementosofficial Oh, and now that I've just seen an episode of Drawn Together the show through _other_ means ("Xandir and Tim Sitting in a Tree"), I can safely say that yeah. This movie is even worse for fans of the show.
The show did use shock humour a lot, but it sandwiched it with other humour to add to a joke. For example.
Foxxy: "Now, most people think that we're overreacting to honest criticism. But in OUR defense, FUCK YOU EW!!"
The profanity isn't the joke, it ADDS to it: That being that the DT gang are making a large fuss about negative reviews. It's all in good fun, and this movie is even more sickening knowing that the sense of camaraderie is gone.
Shroedinger's Lose-Lose Scenario
This movie is a victim of the Kobayshi Maru
The creators were so dumb for ending a decent show like this! They had so much potential and yet they were so butthurt of being cancelled, they acted like crybabies and said "let's ruin our only good show we have ever made!" I'm so happy South Park came and pushed them to the trash where they belong with over 20 seasons, 2 great games, and a better movie!
>I'm mad this show ended, it was pretty good
>This show belonged in the trash
You gotta pick one
Lmao South Park was around long before Drawn Together
Dumbest comment literally ever lol
South Park was already well established when this show came out, they had nothing to do with Comedy Centrals decision to end Drawn together. If anything, South Park set a precedent that DT couldn't live up to.
The difference is South Park gets better with time as the seasons go on, and Drawn Together just kept getting worse. The creators just never had the passion that Matt and Trey do, and they went too hard on the "lets offend our audience" angle.
@@Damiardo >south park got better as it went on
Imagine being this wrong lmao
No one seems to mention that the voice actors improvised a lot of season 3’s dialogue.
Why do I have the feeling they made it horrible on purpose
Because they did. They hate us.
Because they did
@@sebastianamado94 Yes, because they did.
True. They only made the movie because they were mad at Comedy Central because they thought that the reason why the show was canceled was they liked South Park more than drawn together. (Which was not true at all)
So the movie was was giant hissy fit because they couldn't accept the fact that Standards and Practices were furious with the inappropriate content?
In The Drawn Together Movie Princess Clara refuse to believe that she's not a real Disney Princess until after arriving at her Kingdom that she started to realise the truth after meeting the real Princess. Make Clara wished that she should have listen to Foxy in the first place and gone with the others to get their show back on air. However Princess Clara died half way in the film but so has Wooldoor even though he brough this on himself without thinking and died because of his obession of getting Drawn Together back on air. So this The Drawn Together Movie is the worst because main characters died half way in the movie leaving six character left althought they all died in the end of the movie no thanks to Spanky, who accidentally steps on another eraser bomb and erases them all from existence.
So the reason for Drawn Together’s downfall is because of how careless it’s two creators were during the making of the third season and the deadlines from Comedy Central. If that’s so then talk about a lose-lose situation.
Also, most of the crew would rather play Halo 3 than make this show
Even if the creators have since taken responsibility for their actions, it wouldn't matter in the end. The damage was already done. Now they have to live with the guilt of their actions for the rest of their lives, while we point fingers, laugh at them, and tell them to kill themselves because they're just that pathetic and worthless in the eyes of the gods.
I think the show was great, all three seasons. The first two were way better though
@@nevaehhamilton3493 Oof…
@@nevaehhamilton3493 alright the 3rd season and movie was bad but jeez man calm down.
If Drawn Together ever got revived whether it be with new writers, a new cast of characters, the original creators returning, or a simple revival with the Drawn Together crew returning. They should up and make fun of this movie or just pretend it doesn't exist, no in-between (Not that you could do so). Like I think it'd be funny if they had a plot for an episode or even a TV movie involving the crew trying to stop copies of The Drawn Together Movie from being sold and/or aired on TV and they treat the film as from another dimension that will drive anyone who watches it completely mad. This film didn't end Drawn Together as a whole with a whimper, it was the equivalent of the Drawn Together crew violently puking blood and taking a dump before they had a heart attack and died as everyone else could only watch in abject horror before letting the fact that such a horrible death happened settle in.
It's sad really, Drawn Together is a show I'd argue could work with changing casts of characters for every iteration ala Final Fantasy, Digimon, Persona, and Gundam. There could be a series themed around villains like having parodies of Skeletor, Tomura Shigaraki, Waspinator, Yellow Diamond, Sideshow Bob, DemiDevimon, Meowth, Cartman, and even have Captain Hero return as Captain Villain to parody the now common trope of "What if Superman was evil", maybe there could be a series starring background characters from Nickelodeon shows, a series that stars parodies of shows and other media that the internet hates like Teen Titans Go, Santa Inc, Fairview, RWBY (Post Volume 3), etc. Drawn Together's idea of characters from different media living together as part of a reality show has a lot of potential and it's sad to see that the franchise is pretty much dead thanks to this movie.
Even though I never watched a single episode of the show (or even the Movie.....which I am glad I never knew about it), I can understand what you mean.
new writers? hell nah. it seems you dont know but the movie was actually done after they werent renewed, and thus barely had any budget left which is why it was done in flash
on the other hand, its crude the way it is because it was mostly a middle finger to comedy central and south park
Even tho I believe the DT reboot would be unnecessary, I still think it would be an interesting thing to see. I think it could capture the same energy as the Animaniacs 2020 reboot, aka making fun of being a reboot or how the can't be as shocking and offensive anymore because of the political correctness etc. Heck, they could even add new characters being parodies of other cartoons! The posibilities of it would be endless!
Also, if this actually happens, it NEEDS to be called "Redrawn Together"
Couple years ago I marathoned drawn together and I was like "kickass theres a movie" I swear the characters have less to do in the movie than 1 episode
The show started off as a great concept, and quickly devolved into "offensive for the sake of offensive". The movie just took it a step further and showed us the uncensored bits.
Yeah, it ran it's course pretty quickly but they tried to keep milking it long after the teat went dry.
That’s literally how it started
Especially when they made Princess Clara a homophobe despite literally having her sexual awakening in the first episode
Yeah. A parody of reality TV AND cartoon archetypes would've been much better. I would've MUCH rather seen Superman interacting with Link, Betty Boop, Pikachu and a Disney Princess instead of watching Dumb Jerk interacting with Gay Stereotype, Bitchy Woman/Fat Joke, Asian Stereotype, and Racist Christian...
Never show the uncensored bits that just ruins the whole thing for me..
The movie simply lacked the subtlety and innuendos of the TV show. It's as if they thought that people only remembered the show for its blatant shock content which isn't the least bit true.
All the dense wordplay, visual gags, tight interconnected writing and production score is what made the show so good. The shock content was never the main appeal, just the cherry on top.
amen
7:17 Fun fact, the studio behind this movie is Six Point Harness, the guys behind Dick Figures, both the series and the movie. And oddly enough, despite having a way simpler art style, the DF movie looks a million times more dynamic and cinematic than this one, especially the action and chase scenes (probably because the basic stick figure designs allowed them to concentrate on an energetic and fast paced movement)
Really?
It actually happened?
Imagine having to be Viacom and dealing with these guys and John K telling you to shove your deadlines
This feels like an object lesson in balancing personal investment and professional detachment. It sounds like the creators were counting on this show being their golden ticket to cultural relevance for years to come and just coasted without being realistic about what coasting would cost them. You cant really stop trying AND be mad that things have gone horribly wrong; the two are all too often inextricably linked. If something like this is a work of passion then it has to be a priority but you cant let those feelings run wild and lash out when something goes wrong if the passion doesnt show in the work. Personal investment and professional detachment.
This is a sad depressing tale of when believing your own hype can get the better of you. I mean when you think about it this entire film is just made from the creators thinking they made a show so great that it not only needed no input from others, but the only reason the creators could think of for their creation not thriving was network sabotage. So in their state of self righteous indignation they channeled all their anger and vitriol into making the worst movie of all time. Filled to the brim with every joke and version of their characters that either only thought were funny, or they thought could be be used to deliver the message about how their show was grievously wronged.
Like John mentioned too, there is a lot of sexual content which he didn't particularly care for. But I certainly don't have to be asexual to hate how it is used here. I hate it because most of the characters are either dead or underaged. "I don't want to have sex with dead chicks just for social commentary. What's wrong with doing it for fun?" Because it's a bad, Captain Hero! There's got to be a line drawn! You don't have to do social commentary if you are funny instead!
The Voice Actors from Cartoons That you know like
Cree Summer as Foxxy Love (Susie, Numbuh 5, Princess Kida, and Ms. Green)
Tara Strong as Princess Clara and Toot (Bubbles, Timmy, Raven, and Ben Tennyson)
Jess Harnell as Captain Hero (Wakko, Crash, and Ironhide)
James Arnold Taylor as Wooldoor and Jew Producer (Ratchet, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Johnny Test, Leonardo, Spider-Man, The Flash, and Tidus)
Those are the Voice Actors that you know from cartoons.
If ya ever have Bizzaro Story of this movie, let me know and yeah this movie Itself truly was the final nail to the coffin of the franchise let alone not even a season 4 similar to how Total Drama did. Also congrats on making It up to 10k!
Kinda Ironic years later that these new "animators" would later on provide this to the Animaniacs Reboot Season 1 and 2 and still going one once Season 3 get announced later down the road which still surprises me back not In a good way.
The movie seemed weirdly obsessed with better shows
Been here since 4K, hard to believe we're already 10k more now.
I did see this movie. I consider it very forgettable, there's a lot I remember from the show itself, but I don't remember much of the movie besides the bitterness and anger.
I really hate the movie "Song of the South" partially because the movie is super repetitive and boring easily one of the worst Disney movies ever, but because a lot of folks seem to be willfully ignorant about why the movie is so offensive in the first place.
Like John said about the adult shows of today, that same shock fatigue is why so many of them are so forgettable to me.
Drawn Together was a GREAT show
I refuse to count the movie as canon
Man this movie and season 3 was bad but I do love Drawn Together. I think that's really why it gets the bad rep it does because with the current state of adult cartoons with a plethora of family guy/ simpsons clones, I can appreciate how different it tried to be. Plus it was one of the first "reality show" cartoons I've watched before we got Total Drama and the like
Wakko’s wish is basically this movie done right
Is so interesting to hear people hate this series when here in Latam its one of the most beloved series ever aired on MTV, is so popular that to this day is still part of regular memes and referenced constantly, some of the dub actors have even stated is one of their best works and some of the most fun they had dubbing a show, to the point that the actor who does Captain Hero or "Capitanazo" as its called here (who is regarded very highly in the dub world, voicing tons of iconic characters like Freezer in DBZ, Guy sensei in Naruto, Jim Carrey in the Mask, V in V for Vendetta and Han Solo in every Star Wars movie) said is one of his favorite characters ever done and that is one of his most requested voices in conventions alongside Freezer and Guy Sensei
which put into perspective how insanely popular Drawn Together was if the people remember it fondly on the same level they remember Naruto or Dragón ball
Totally, In LATAM people loved the show but looks like the gringos hated it
Yo recopilando información para hacerle un vídeo defendiendo la serie en la mochila*
Its funny, I loved this show as a kid.
But found Moral Orel to be "boring" or "about one thing".
Boy, how wrong I was.
Now its the opposite!!
You are so good at making points.
I’m honestly suprized that you’re parents we’re ok with you watching something like drawn together.
@@ethan_exists398 Some people assume that anything that is animated is safe for kids. Nothing can be further from the truth. MacStar's parents probably did not screen the show themselves. Also, they probably had no idea their kid was watching Comedy Central which is a channel no one under the age of 18 should be viewing without adult supervision.
Anyone that watched this show as kid had parents that failed to do their job of parenting. They just put the television on and leave the room. I was a kid in the 1980s and I will admit the family television served as a babysitter more than once. There were times me and my siblings would spend entire afternoons watching our favorite programs on PBS and the Disney Channel and playing our Atari 2600. Then there were the Saturday morning cartoon blocks. Our parents always checked in on us to make sure we were not watching stuff we shouldn't.
To be honest, it was a lot safer in those days to let your kid sit in front of the TV all day. Nowadays parents need to be a lot more diligent.
@@1977TA I can agree with you on this one but DANG! Did you really have to do an essay?

@@mediamementosofficial Ah, of course. XD
I can imagine the creators of DTL see the budget of South Park and watch their Jaws drop.
I never heard their lives fell apart after all this. I remember hearing about them doing a show on Fox years ago and then nothing after that. It is good to know they are finally admitting they're to blame for the show eventually being canceled. I do think the show can work if done right, and I would love to see it get another chance.
Also I don't get why they knew they were cancelled in S3 E14 and walked into unemployment yet they're back and unaware in the movie
Another one that goes into the “should have stayed as a cartoon” next to the loud house.
Love that your gonna talk about more Moral Orel vids. Love to hear more about Drawn Together too and hope we can get an update on the DT creators. I hope they’re alright.
You’re growing at such an alarming rate I’m so happy for you!! 💕💕
Like The Simpsons hasn't been guilty as all hell of having its characters go out of character all the time for the past twenty years.
Been here since a little before 1k I'm so happy you guys are almost at 14.8k love you guys
I think there is one cool thing this movie could do, but didn’t. Remember how in The Lego Movie the characters were visiting various Lego worlds in order to fulfill the quest? This concept could also be here, but with different cartoons, yet we only saw Clara’s kingdom and the Flinstones world. I wish they could also add for example Hero’s home city or Ling Ling’s anime world, I think that was a wasted potential
Well MM you came a long way, but I'm glad you reached over 10 k subscribers and soon to be over 15k.
Looking forward with your future videos.
Drawn Together's indirect contribution was being the inspiration behind "Panty and Stocking" an Anime that parodies American Animation as well as finding ways to further parody cringe juvenile humor, along with popular animation styles. (Even Episode 8 of that show parodies Ren & Stimpy in a clever and bizarre way.)
I knew the creators made this film out of spite.
Funny thing is that Mr. Enter decided not to talk about the creators because he didn't want to cause people to harass them. But like you said, the creators' motive is important to understand when it comes to just how bad this movie is. Yes, one's art isn't always indicative of who they are as a person, but emotions can affect the art's outcome. I really do hope nobody harassed the creators, and for future reference, whenever a video delves into the behind the scenes like this one did, please do not harass people over it.
Ugh this movie was terrible...it feels like a tax right off more than anything. Sad shame as I too loved the show! ❤
This show is HUGE in latin america, and as long as I know this movie wasn't even dub there
I feel like Latin America is getting to the point where they love cartoons as much as we love anime
I feel like this may end up being a rather cathartic video. And my least favorite movie of all time is probably "The Lobster." I hate the word "pretentious," but yeah. Plus it broke up the friend group I saw it with; we all left the theater in silence lol
lemme guess, was that "Lobster" movie was black and white, french, and unreasonably long?
@@moomooold Yeah you’re dead wrong lol
@@moomooold No, no, and yes. The problem was that the trailer made it seem more like it was light and quirky, but it's really depressing and kind of masochistic.
@@CinnamonGrrlErin1 I've seen The Lobster. Not only did it waste a brilliant concept, but it managed to make a 90 minute film feel like five hours.
@@droth1031 it really should have been directed by Spike Jonze, he has a great feel for this kind of movie.
As an Enter fan who has her gripes with him, thank you for not dunking on him
Worth mentioning the video that's how I first found your channel is your Drawn Together Season 3 video. And I've been waiting for you to review this ever since I saw that lol
I never took John Enter's commentary of the movie seriously because he admitted he never watched the show. But to see that and actual fan of the show (like myself) and he says this movie is bad is more credible because it comes a place of respect for the show in spite of the crass humor and vulgar language. Also, I had no intention of getting the movie and after this review and I'm GLAD I'm never GOING to watch it.
i started watching you just a few days ago and i enjoy your content greatly, keep up the amazing work, it's awesome
TBH the first half of season 3 is pretty good, the mall cliffhanger was the immediate cliff dive
Lets face it: "Drawn Together" was an Unmitigated Disaster.
Drawn together the movie
Is like what happen if
South park was nothing but violence or S#x is the only time of humor there is
And no social commentary or self awareness
You and Mr. Enter (at the time of his review) saying this is the worst thing you’ve watched/reviewed is enough for me to know I’m not missing much after watching the entire show
I always liked the show more for the concept behind it than any of the overly gross execution. If they had bothered to tone down the grossness just a little bit I’d probably still remember it fondly
This was a very interesting essay. I haven't seen this series in long time and I didn't even know there was a movie. Nice job jand keep it up!
Drawn Together is one of my favorite adult cartoons of all time, I even liked the third season but this movie...oh man.😐
I'll just still go the actual Drawn Together thank you very much.
As bad as this movie was I still laugh at the fact that as they drive threw South Park, the only person who isn’t dead is Kenny
They at least were able to make a good joke about South Park in one of the episodes 🤣. I love when drawn together parodies other adult cartoons like that imo those are the best ones!
i haven’t heard anything about the two creators since this movie so i was surprised to hear you bring up they admitted to their faults with the series
is there an interview anywhere they talk about it and some other controversies bc i can’t find anything on this
Wow, I was looking for a detailed breakdown of the movie and I couldn't find it elsewhere. I liked your commentary style too, you can count me as a sub.
You know what could be neat if the creators really don’t care for this anymore? A direct to streaming movie special called: Drawn Together the REAL Movie, where they put this movie into an alt dimension (which is all the rage now a day) and even have the characters react to it with distain and go “we’ll make a REAL movie and prove we are better than this!” And make it utterly hilarious with the zany antics we love *chanting* redemption arc! Redemption arc! Redemption arc!
if only. :(
Sometimes its really hard to get a certain TV Show or Movie done on time, which I guess I can understand that when you think about it.
I loved every season of this show (yes, even S3, i loved it), but I didnt even knew there was a movie about the show after its cancellation. When i discovered it, sometime later, it was mind blowing, i really wanted to see it, and boy... It was absolutely terrible. Boring, gross, completely lacking charisma, totally different from the show. And that disgusting cheap animation really made it 10 times harder to sit through. Really an actual torture.
Oh boy. This piece of bile. I’m never watching it or getting the Complete Collection DVD box set because it had this movie in it. It’s THAT bad.
Also, I’ve never seen all of the original show, but the only episode I did see was Clum Babies. That was a great episode imo. It was really funny, had a very funny VeggieTales parody, and also had a great message.
In the words of Animat, “The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie gets The Animat Seal of Garbage!”
I just like to think that the drawn together universe is separated into two. 1 where every drawn together character originate and where they're parody is reality but this reality only exists as long as the show exist so when it's canceled they basically become public domain and the universe's merge into one which is why the original people they're based off exist and why they remember them
Honestly here Latinoamerica Drawn together is actually pretty popular maybe partially because the latinoamerican spanish dub makes it 10x better and funny and you see it and the show doesnt look that old until you realize that is 20+ years old but the topics and the humor that it touches are so relevant now you wonder how popular it would be now with new characters, house story bla bla bla
This movie is basicaly the ranchier equivalent of Alex meeting the Two Brother protagonist at the end of YIIK.
Such a shame that Drawn Together ended up like this, I hope there will be a new reboot with 16 new cast members that will replace the original 8 housemates and are parodies of various cartoons and video games (most of them could released after the release of this movie), also mixed with live-action backgrounds and people...
After hearing the behind of scenes stuff, now it makes sense why the creators made Dj and the Fro.
21:43 Okay, as someone who doesn't watch the show (but might in the future, I don't really know), this was actually kinda funny.
A thing I hate about adult cartoons is they try to hard to be “mature” by putting in corny shock humor and unfunny jokes about masturbation and STDS to be edgy
8:16, That might actually be a very good and legit question you asked there.
And even as a Non-Fan of Drawn Together, I'm also wondering if the Creators even watched the Series at all before they made the film, even if they 8:19 did technically made the show in the first place.
Watched your Meet the Feebles review a while ago and happened to stumble upon your channel again when looking for something about this... "movie."
Subbed
I want to hear what happened to the Drawn Together creators
My least favourite movie of all time is The Howling New Moon Rising. Nothing happens in the movie, it's just some people at bar singing country music and then a werewolf comes sometimes. The previous Howling movie, The Freaks wasn't great, but it had some decent practical effects, had an interesting premise and okay execution. This movie is so bad that the best part of the movie, is the recycled footage (and maybe the hilariously bad werewolf transformation scene). You don't care about any of the characters, the horror is nonexistent and you can't even enjoy it as a schockly werewolf movie since it's barely in it, and even if it is there, it's in First Person. The movie is 1h and 30m long, but you can probably cut 50m out and miss nothing. The most interesting part of the movie is the fact that Guy Moon did the music, yes the Guy Moon from the Fairly Odd Parents.
A reason why tooth and Clara where so washed out it’s because they couldn’t afford Tara Strong to voice both characters, therefore they hid them and killed Clara and hid toot
OK OK I’m about to put my writer’s foot down and say that this movie is beyond terrible and I have watched Dragon Ball evolution.
If I am going to say what would have been good for this movie to actually be I don’t know “decent”
I would have made the movie kind of a reimagining in the way of a comeback story to the way that the show ended similar to what happened with Roccos modern life movie Which did a better job at bringing fans back and also bring in newer fans to show what happened at the end of their season just saw connected but there is no connection to the drawn together movie the movie. They could have talked about how they’ve been away for so long And they need to bring the show back by getting everyone together while speaker man tries to stop them because of the fact that since the show has been off the air he has actually had a better life ever since the show has ended So he has this robot try and stop him.
Honestly it would have been a good movie to have plus all that has changed over the years would have even made it even better in the way of animation plus the way of ideas as a whole because I know for a fact when that movie came out there was a lot going on in the way of animation of Japanese and western culture Along with so many other doses of animation that could have been combined in one movie so I can definitely say that the movie itself had lazy writing but if a player is able to just go straight forward to the show how the movie could have started and ended maybe it could have been much better.
When I see it they just kind of said yeah this was the movie but it’s never going to get brought back because all the characters are dead now so thank you for your time and get lost…
My idea is that all them get together and the ones that kind of got screwed over after the show had already been canceled for many years and they never got even a dime off of any DVDs or Merchandise that probably only went on eBay (Wonder if Amazon was even a thing when this movie came out) It’s just for them to try and get the entire group back together just to have the least favorite characters be the ones that are struggling the most while the ones that were the favorites are actually doing way better than those that were not.
Truly I’m not trying to bash this movie even though I kind of am but there’s nothing wrong with a point A to point B plot, Especially with the budget that was put into this movie I can say that there was not a lot of love in the way of money put into it so yeah Just doing whatever is not always the best idea, this movie needed a real Spit-shine. Hopefully if they ever do bring the show back which they probably won’t after this movie came out they would run the course Properly.
This movie was pretty much a death sentence not only for the show, but also the creators of it.
Even the most die hard fan of DT despise the movie
As a die hard fan of DT, I hate the movie with a passion
I completely forgot that this existed. I wish I had still forgotten it.
While I haven't seen much of this series, it reminds me of Total Drama Island. Just in the sense that it's an animated reality show. I see that you've done one video on it, which I'll get to soon. Do you think you'll ever get back around to it?
Season 2 > Season 1 > Season 3 > The Movie > Every episode of Family Guy
HEY!!! SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT DRAWN TOGETHER IS!!! It's definitely my favorite show, and has been for years, lol you randomly popped up on my home and was great to see people still talking about it, good or bad
"This started happening before season three, but it got SO much worse when the third season hit."
I wonder why...
Actually, I think the movie was so cheap they couldn’t afford toon boom (or didn’t exist yet?) and was animated in Flash
Drawn together's mexican dub Is gold. Captain Hero Is voiced by the same guy who does frezzer from dbz
Since we know how much of a disaster this is, this gives me a thought. How would we fix this movie?
