Ive never seen one of these done without simmering it. Power washing it raw was actually pretty impressive, i would definitely recommend you be more gentle on softer sinus bones on the sides of the skull you can see youve blown them all out on those skulls creating unsightly gaping holes
what if to cook it and then easily remove everything ( just an idea, I don't know wat would be the result) and do the chemical treatment. Have you ever tried it that way?

I did that for a long time. Had issues with the fat seeping into the bone when I did it.
