- In this video we will show you how to make folded deck boards for cool details like the armrest we are building on our custom bench. We use a V router to carve out the back of the deck board and then heat it up with a heat gun to fold it over and create a really cool detail! We also finish up the stone on the inside of the fireplace wall. and put the last touches on the Deckorators cable railing, including a custom section with a bar top.

That trick w the seamless miters and the heat gun is freaking AWESOME!
I've never seen that b4, and I promise I'm going to try it on my next deck build
So so cool
Works out really well for certain situations!!
Folded deck boards. Why did I not think of that when I fitted my daughter’s decking 🤦♂. Absolutely awesome finish. Fireplace is stunning too. Customer must be absolutely delighted.
Thank you very much my friend!!
Great work as always guys. 👍👍🏴🏴

Thanks buddy! Its been fun trying new things with the content!
I have seen sod laid down during the light snow we were having and it behaved perfectly and came out great.
Interesting! We will be laying it this week, but its going to be in the 40s-50s.
3 words: AMAZING JOB EVERYONE!
Thank you Alberto!!
Good tip Ant!
The company would fold without Jose. Give that man a raise!
We ❤️ Jose!
Love the channel. Watch every episode.
That wood is getting the bends
Yo Shawn! I'm huge fan Sir! I'm trying to accomplish the folded deck boards. Im using Trex, same process, but my fold keeps ripping. Ive gone from an 1/8 of material to a little less. Any suggestions Sir? Thanks again for the great content!!
What router bit did you use? And did you go full depth in one pass? Looks like a clean cut, for me Voyage has been tricky to route.
I thought I saw one of your patios / backyard experiences being built, but I'm not sure.
Let’s get an update on those folded deck boards when it’s 90 degrees. Cool idea but I’ve seen trex expand 1/4 in the cold morning to warm afternoon
We’ve done them plenty of times in different weather and checked back years later and they still hold up great. This is deckorators decking, different than trex with almost zero movement

Dat jawline
Looking like Tom Brady out here!!
What router bit did you go with?
I put it up in our Amazon store! HTTPS://www.Amazon.com/shop/premieroutdoor
What size bit did you guys end up using?
Unable to find the router bit via the link you posted
I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find that router bit. Your link tree is all lies 😂 😂 .
Fold is sick though! 🤙🏼
There was a mistake when I added it to the Amazon store but I fixed it yesterday should be up there now!!
I couldn’t find one that would cut deep enough. But I just remembered that Deckorators is only like 3/4 so maybe the 5/8 depth one worked for you 🤔.
The link takes you to like 5 or 6 different ones 🤷🏻♂️. Can’t you just make it easy for us haha.

We’re building one!
Hey cameraman!
When the guy in front says 'check it out'...... Show the project! Not the dude
No one wants to see Sean the entire video.
If you're showcasing BUILDING, then show it.
Sean begs to differ...
@@THEpremieroutdoor get that man a mirror then. I don't want to see Sean. I want to see Sean's wood.
