I'm considering Nikon D5100 with 18-105mm kit lens as my first DSLR so I was looking for reviews and found you'r video of sample shot's. It's by far the best review I've saw. Thank's for the video and your pictures are beautiful.
Hi ! That's not a review but thanks :) Go for it ! This is the best lens and camera by my opinion for a newbie, you can get the d5200 or d5300 now :) it's light , have a great zoom and amazing stability. Its my first DSLR as well. Love it very much ! Now bought a nikkor 40mm micro lens , for macro awesome lens as well. Have fun !
Thanks for the replay. I know that it's not a review but it told me more about the camera than any other video. :) Thank you for the opinion but I think that for that extra money D7000 with same lens is a better option. :) Sorry if my english is bad.
Hehe , one picture worth 1000 words :) i think the sensor of 5200 and 5300 is better than D7000. If you can get the D7000 at the same price that of D5200/D5300 get it. But if pay much more for the D7000, i guess instead of D7000 better invest the money in a tripod or a flash.
Artiom K Thank's again. :) Can you tell me one more thing that I'm interested in, how is like to live with in regard of it's size and mass and to use it on a daily basis?
Vojin Simonovic The D5100 is not big nor heavy, as well as this lens. Get a good wide strip and you won't feel it a all. I had it in China with me , i walked 6 hours a day and even didn't feel i have it with me. Great for everyday usage. If you get the even smaller lens such as 40mm or 35mm it's like walking with a toy :) But it is not :)
