    Wow, that fake "light on the wall" is a clever bit of graphics trickery! I was totally expecting a Relight node. So simple!

    Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. There’s so much awesomeness in this video, but I want to specifically call out that I appreciate that you change your mind about various aspects (i.e., color, blur, texture) in real-time. This kind of insight into your creative process is at least as helpful as the “this node does this, that one does that.”

    Amazing video, as always. Would it be possible to have the light effect ("effect") the stroke, or even the fill, of the text dynamically, so that it looks like the text was also being lit by the animated light source while still obscuring it?

    I have learned so much thanks to your videos! Really well presented, you’re an engaging teacher. I didn’t even know how to import media a week ago😅. I have been filming for years, but spend most my time outside. I never had my own computer: so I could barely use a computer and had not interest. But wanting to polish some footage led me down this rabbit hole of editing on resolve. Then I found your videos and have been really inspired to put in the effort to bring the footage to life.
    Anyhow rant over
    Thank you for the videos!

    Amazing. The funny thing is that I understand everything you did BUT I would have never thought of doing it. I mean, who would have thought of using Fast Noise in such a way? Incredible.

    Connecting the position of the moving element to the direction of the gradient of the text would work right? So it could simulate some kind of reflection of the light on the text too... And maybe have a shadow node and drive it's direction the same way

    Great tutorial. However, I *really* didn't like the over 3-1/2 minutes of non-skippable ads at the beginning.

    • @giftapfel
      @giftapfel 10 месяцев назад +1

      I dont think the youtuber can decide if it is skippable or unskippable since the last update.

    • @eie_for_you
      @eie_for_you 10 месяцев назад

      @@giftapfel Unfortunately true. My problem was the *length* of the ads. I watched another video and there was 6 minutes(!!!) of ads before I could watch the video. 😡. As a RUclipsr, myself, if this is what my subscribers are going to be subjected to, I am *really* tempted to turn off all monetization. But, ask myself, "Will this stop YT from accosting my subscribers to excessive ads or just deprive me of the rewards of posting videos?" ugh!
