Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. There’s so much awesomeness in this video, but I want to specifically call out that I appreciate that you change your mind about various aspects (i.e., color, blur, texture) in real-time. This kind of insight into your creative process is at least as helpful as the “this node does this, that one does that.”
Amazing video, as always. Would it be possible to have the light effect ("effect") the stroke, or even the fill, of the text dynamically, so that it looks like the text was also being lit by the animated light source while still obscuring it?
I have learned so much thanks to your videos! Really well presented, you’re an engaging teacher. I didn’t even know how to import media a week ago😅. I have been filming for years, but spend most my time outside. I never had my own computer: so I could barely use a computer and had not interest. But wanting to polish some footage led me down this rabbit hole of editing on resolve. Then I found your videos and have been really inspired to put in the effort to bring the footage to life. Anyhow rant over Thank you for the videos!
Amazing. The funny thing is that I understand everything you did BUT I would have never thought of doing it. I mean, who would have thought of using Fast Noise in such a way? Incredible.
Connecting the position of the moving element to the direction of the gradient of the text would work right? So it could simulate some kind of reflection of the light on the text too... And maybe have a shadow node and drive it's direction the same way
Great video love your work. But the only trouble i am having is the copy and paste it doesnt work for me i tried it watching other video but cant seem to make a instance node,,, maybe things have changed on how it is done i am on 19 beta 3... Hopefully you can help with this...
I really like the look of davinci resolve, would my M1 Pro with 16GB of ram handle the more demanding features like depth map/ magic mask or will it choke!?
This. Is. Cool. Ish. I need to learn this node thing. I always skip out on every software where I encounter them. It seems too scary? Tough? Something like that. But, good work!😌✌🏽👏🏽
@@giftapfel Unfortunately true. My problem was the *length* of the ads. I watched another video and there was 6 minutes(!!!) of ads before I could watch the video. 😡. As a RUclipsr, myself, if this is what my subscribers are going to be subjected to, I am *really* tempted to turn off all monetization. But, ask myself, "Will this stop YT from accosting my subscribers to excessive ads or just deprive me of the rewards of posting videos?" ugh!

I was happy already at midpoint, but you kept just adding more and more. Great stuff.
Fantastic effect and tutorial. Thank you!
A great project, great effects and relatively easy to follow. As always, just one word: AWESOME
Wow, that fake "light on the wall" is a clever bit of graphics trickery! I was totally expecting a Relight node. So simple!
This was a such a good tutorial that has really taught me a lot about fusion! Thank you!

Wow, this tutorial is fire!! It's going take days to fully learn what you are presenting here... Thanks & Happy New Year 2024!
Awesome as usual, a lot of things to learn and many things to try, thanks for sharing!!!!
I'm really liking the motion graphic series Casey! I've used the techniques in a few of them, with my own twist off course.

FINALLY! I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS A WHOLE WEEK
Fantastic tutorial, Casey. Looks great and I learned a lot.
Awesome. Thank you. I use a lot of your stuff to take my sports highlights to the next level.
this is an AWESOME video... more like this please 💪😎
Wow, that's a fantastic effect, so many possibilities for application! Thanks :)
I would love to see one of you (Alex, Patrick, etc) to dive in more in the "obscures" Fusion modifiers.
I'm gonna comment that on Alex's channel too
This is so freaking cool!

I was literally been looking for something like this just now! Thanks Casey
This one is absolutely amazing. I adore lessons like this, Casey. I'm using this animation as PF2024. 🙂
Where do you get your BG pics? I love the use of the grunge to give text some unique textures.
Classic Tutorial .... BRAVO
Amazing as always!
So good. Love your work!

we can also animate by using Proto effect, yeah??
Great tutorial !
Such a helpful tutorial. Thanks!
How could we go about adding such a light in between some trees? i.e. like a ghost effect
Is Mac mini m2 powerful enough to handle Fusion?
I really like the look of davinci resolve, would my M1 Pro with 16GB of ram handle the more demanding features like depth map/ magic mask or will it choke!?
It'll probably have a harder time with that stuff, but will work well for most things id say
Cool effect. Thanks!

That recap at the end was good though! Subscribed!✌🏽
Could you have add xglow or protov2 to your polygon and this work the same?
This is great!
THANK YOU
7:17 Can i do this with a video instead of background??
Amazing
It is allways the same: if you know how to do, its easy. Thanks for showing those tricks and my next titel will have a moving light 😉
Cool!
Cool
I can’t able to make same part 12:16 stroke and fill 😢😢why ?
I love how you were able to fake 3D lighting using blurred masks.
Great tutorial. However, I *really* didn't like the over 3-1/2 minutes of non-skippable ads at the beginning.
I dont think the youtuber can decide if it is skippable or unskippable since the last update.

Boy that's rough im sorry
I once had youtube shove a 60 minute ad midroll of a 17 minute video. I was not impressed!
@@eie_for_youRUclips will still put ads on unmonetized videos. RUclipsr myself as well.
Oh no...1st stage...open Fusion.....I have no Background1 or MediaOut1 nodes..... lesson over before it begins
You have to make a new fusion comp. You also have to drag a BG node into the flow. :)
Thanks @@CaseyFaris 👍
