As a introverted guy with social anxiety, I can't for the life of me understand how unhinged these men are ....i don't care if she doesn't respond in weeks , many things come up , hell i dont text my friends right away cause i tend to watch movies on streaming channels and miss my notifications so i fully get it
The one who kept dismissing the woman who lost her parent freaked me out because I had that happen to me , my ex who I started talking to again felt it was more important to bring up her men problems a day after my cousin whom I considered my best friend's funeral and kept calling me , waking me up and I just snapped at her and stopped talking to her

Earlier this year I dated a guy I’d known since we were teenagers, 30 now, and turns out he’d secretly been a ‘nice guy’ this whole time. Really made me appreciate my ex more. Ended things with the ‘nice guy’ and worked out the problems the ex and I had. Online dating gets a very large ‘no thank you’ from me at this point.
I watched your nice guy videos with my best friend a few weeks ago, and he said "well, they also might think all other guys are assholes because we also find them creepy and weird, and aren't inclined to be warm with them." I thought that was an interesting additional perspective, especially since my best friend is involved in a lot of tight knit groups.

I actually learned that from reading Jane Austen! It was like "hang on, I don't think they're using this word like we do..." so I looked it up. NiceGuys are certainly foolish lol.

She read and have them all =) So much so, that she convinced even me, someone with no interest at all in love stories, have read a couple when I was young, and watched all the movie adaptations ^^ Gotta say, the gal had a way with words and humour!
English isn't my first language, but despite not being good at it, I love learning and find languages fascinating. I learned the old 'nice' meaning playing a dictionary game!

Since you do wholesome subreddits at the end of each video, I was thinking it would be nice to have a wholesome stories episode and/or compilation of wholesome posts with you reacting to them. Based on how well it does maybe it could be a regular thing. I love the wholesome segments at the end because the video ends with a smile instead of a frown.

Maybe there should be social classes in schools so kids understand consent and signals that someone isn’t interested? And when to stop and be nice about rejection.
Here in New Zealand, social media, healthy relationships and consent are now covered in sex ed at high school. There are also public education campaigns about consent and abusive relationships with internet and TV ads, signs on buses etc. Saw one just the other day. I wonder if it makes any difference.

I’m gay and even I come across these “nice guys”. I found one on Grindr get mad at me because I didn’t respond to him. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he proceeded to call me shallow for not liking him “over a couple snapshots”. Here’s the kicker. After his tantrum with me not responding and saying hi just to be nice, he proceeds to say “Hi. I am an artist. I’m an oral bottom.” 3rd sentence in he came in with that but Im the shallow one 🤣🤣🤣 and of course his profile name was “Nice guy” 🤦♂️

He told me he was in love with me from the moment he met me. And I have a feeling someone’s going to mention this, but yeah, depending on where OP lives because she said that her native tongue isn’t English, she might be at the legal age, but she might also be from a country that the legal age is just barely above her age which gives her a grey area for the grooming situation. And those grey areas are definitely a hard thing for the judicial system to definitively enforce because it’s like “they could be considered a child but they’re on the cusp of becoming the legal age so it could/couldn’t be considered a crime.” And so I take that as an issue but to me it still feels semi-ped to me, but of course I am an American and we are different here in a lot of bad ways than almost all countries (the only exception to me would be the NK, because of how deified their leader and his family is.)

You have every right to make assumptions, discernments based on patterns, men and women do.
Do not feel the need to explain or ask for an explanation whether you're rejecting or being rejected unless it is actually to receive information whether its hurtful or helpful because that is the point of asking. I you're rejecting maybe; it would be best to cut the communication since this appears to be a common problem which tends to translate into an exchange when the roles are reversed and the person who was initially rejecting before ends up making the same mistake and it's not really worth the effort to get that upset either way.
And the whole deal where people seem to be attempting to continue a previous conversation, they had with someone else as if to "redeem" themselves which then just reveals how often they get themselves into such a state, the idea that "all men/women are the same" and injecting a scenario where one isn't interested in them because of something they are insecure about, most of the time projecting their own insecurity as the reason for their own failure, attempting to pass off the failure as not their own.
I can think of many instances where this is used by both men and women.

@@catpoke9557 Honestly at this point I'm not even sure, I think I trolled her a little and I said some mean things but as far as I remembered I apologized for making her feel bad, I reached out maybe once or twice to patch things but my attention span only goes so far so most of the time its like this person is just coming out of the blue.

The guy at 43:34, a valid point but you know your choices aren't the fault of everyone else and you know unless you've had the opportunity to participate in such things, can't exactly say you've always been the "good boy" a test of one's character comes with temptation n if you've never been offered something against your values, you've never been tested and I can only imagine this guy has failed miserably like most.
Because there's this old thing called the internet where young boys soon found ways of seeing naked girls... and unless you refrained, I can't exactly call you a "good boy," thats how temptation works, I think most people in general are guilty of this.

Yeah thats a pretty common thing and it happens both ways, women cheat n leave men for guys they think are better just like men can, you'll never quite know until a person is tested just I mentioned before, unless you've been around someone a pretty long ass time you won't have any idea whether someone has been tested or even done those sorts of promiscuous or infidelity type things, unless they tell you and I'm sure most won't.
The sort of men and women who want to avoid... people like themselves, its not actually that hard to do, though its also not very hard to recognize them too for others and thats where a lot of insecurities come from but too many guys n girls just think "theres gotta be something wrong with me" or they look at red flags like a welcome party because they're too eager for a connection to care, much like those said women who would go and cry to some other guy about how they got F'ed an left.
Imagine this guy getting tons of p**sy from all those heart broken women, overcompensating for his own lack of action in the past... would this honestly make him any better? I don't think so and its pretty obvious that is the kind of outcome he wants.
Also yeah, most people "go for" the top percent, or at least what the majority perceive as the top, because naturally things that are considered to be rare AND good, are going to be wanted by most = 51%+ people..... theres nothing quite wrong about that either until you get to point where you know this "10%" of the unicorn quality men are themselves TESTED by having tons of prospects.... ask yourself what YOU WOULD DO in this situation and be honest to yourself.
If you were being pursued by multiple women or multiple men, would you not be tempted to go from one to the other and just collect a whole bunch of good times where people are doing their best to impress the person they think are the best?
So, you can't exactly blame people at the top for just being perceived as being higher value and you CAN blame them for making bad choices by using people for free and easy "use" that many women tend to fall victim to and then cry and develop issues because they made a similar mistake that you NICEGUYS tend to make, many women think if they give up all the goods up front that it entitles them to a comfortably set life where they'll have no worries at all... doesn't work like that and you see the results all the time, the things being discussed here are the majority of outlier guys who hadn't even been able to grasp the basic concepts of relationships in general...
But of course there are some bad ideas where people just call other people things like niceguygirl incel/femcel just because the person is saying things that hurt their feelings... no ones gonna get along with others all the time and as long as you're doing good then don't feel obligated to walk on eggshells because hurt people aren't going to do the same for you.
That last part too, nothing inherently wrong and it touches on a fundamentally large and all too common problem, but do you really think these guys up at the top don't go through struggles and problems too or even more so due to their high pursuit value?.... Have you ever considered not every girl who gets with these top men, are all that good of people either? THATS something to think about.
I'm never going to just automatically assume a top percent guy is somehow just a total A-hole who uses his prospects for free fun to get women in their "prime" just for the sake of doing it, cus what most people don't understand is that every personal interaction can be a risk, just like women have this whole vulnerable weak victim ideology, men can be victims too n its not very hard for it to happen.
