    I've never been in such great awe of a RUclips project as I am here. Flying a helicopter inside, putting an Audi A7 in rice, manual swapping a 599 in a day, driving a new Ford GT throughout America. Hell, even collapsing a building with a Toyota pickup on top of it. You beat Top Gear!
    Freddy, good luck.

      its really hard to stomach such gamble especially when the market of hybrid supercars are just starting up its engine. in 2-3 years time there'd be so many new cars with even wilder look and spec than P1 were at much lower price. Only the trinity of hypercar, basically the poster cars of 2010s can stand the test of time can even worth the effort IMO
      the Revuelto and SF90 are just the beginning.

    As much as I LOVE the idea of having a P1, due to my work in the insurance claims industry I can tell you that you would want to avoid a flooded vehicle just about 100% of the time!!!

      Hey, could you explain why that is? 🙂

    • @johncook9392
      @johncook9392 7 месяцев назад +4

      @@Domtune89 The damage done by a flood is catastrophic. One of the big issues is that after it dries, the damage can sometimes be hidden or not so obvious. But it's still there... You could have non visible parts that rust or decay, water gets trapped in areas that can't be seen though still creating damage over time as it sits there. And that applies to engine or drivetrain parts just as much as the body, frame, or interior dressings.

    • @wc-yn6ep
      @wc-yn6ep 5 месяцев назад

      Although... a lot of what you say is true, i have rebuilt a number of flood vehicles. The first came from a flood in WV. The car was a submarine! It took 2 months to disassemble it, and clean everything up. I had a wrecked donor car that had all the electrical parts to repair this car. I drove it for years... with no problems! The last vehicle I did, was the same way... completely under water. But, it was fresh water, and was easy to clean. It was a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. I used a exact donor vehicle for it to replace everything electrical. And... it still wouldn't start! So, I towed it to the dealer. All that was wrong was, the battery was dead for so long, the 3 computers were not talking to each other. After having it reprogrammed (about $1,500), it ran fine.

    Been Buying Salvage and Rebuilding in Linden NJ for 25 years ... I got one from 2012 Hurricane Sandy Flood Car from Long Island IAA. My inside guy at Brooklyn MB Dealer's Shop told me this almost new 2011 w 1,820 m E350 4Matic Sport was left on lowered lift inside shop, so no rust under seat rings, yet was X'd Out as a Total Mid-Door Flood Loss. A $70K Car New, my 2011 E350 4Matic Sport with Auction Fees,Tow with a total cost $14,800.00 that includes OEM accelerator pedal assembly, carpets and floor pans rinsed and cleaned and started right up. One year later had to replace lower mounted alternator, other then that, today I still own this Silver Gray Benz (was a BDay Gift for wife's 40th). She's a non smoker with no kids, 74k on a 12 year old car and still looks great. I was very lucky with this Flood Car but many other Rebuilders here in Jersey were not so lucky, so we only bought flood cars for parts ever since Sandy. I will soon sell it very very cheap to a friend for good continued Karma

      We all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for us, so that we may have everlasting life. But only if you repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ , will you be saved, from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. Turn away from sin and seek to do what is right according to the Bible. Much love and God bless.

    I really, really thank you for doing this. The world we have right now is crazy, and there are so many reasons to give up on everything. You are fighting for all the good and awesome things that our time has given us, and you are doing it exactly the way no one thinks can be done: taking the most difficult task and saying "this deserves love, this deserves care, and I won't let the chance to at least try to give it the opportunity to love and share it's worth go by, because I want to do it and I can make it". This has all your work and all the support that so many have given you all these years. You and your friends are the strenght of so many... And you are showing the world what should be done with the valuable things that are beaten up. Again, thank you for not saying "it's not worth it, it's too much work and effort and money". And to everyone who thinks that way, now you can see that, crazy as it may look, it is a way of doing things, and one that can bring good things back to our lives. It's difficult, it's not necessary, but we do need more people fighting for what seems lost, especially the things that need exxxtra effort to bring back to life.
