This is better than ANY DDE video!
You can put a large beach next to your new home pool 🏊
Hope you use more people putting the Clamshell back on
PLEASE READ over at DDE they have a crashed super modded 720 McLaren. WOULD be the perfect parts car since it has some of the ultimate upgrades to give you even more power with all the Bella and whistles!!!
Dude, you are raising the titanic here. It'll be epic every step.
Imagine seeing all of this and thinking, "Oh yeah, no big deal. I can fix that!" That's why we love you Freddy!
What's a little drizzle water damage ammarite???
Typical tavarish
I wonder what crash super/hyper car he's gonna buy next
If anyone can, it’s Freddie
he can rebuild it and then rebuild again when it goes bang as we know with freddies luck I'm hoping things go well for him
I'm already jealous of whoever comes across this in the future with all the episodes to watch one after another and not have to wait like us rn

For real man
Seriously tempted to unsub for like three years so that I can be THAT GUY.
@@davereeves1967 you'll come back to 2 new videos
I know nothing about cars, but man I would love to work on something like this.
Love seeing the "impossible" repairs get done.
Can't wait to see the full journey
as cool as this is get into something simple if you want to learn. i wouldn’t even start with a car, i’d get a dirt bike and an rc car. those are usually less complicated, and have small versions the things that every car has: wheels, axles, driveshafts, bearings, wiring, engines, motors, batteries, pretty much anything that could be a car part. and it’s usually cheaper too which is nice when learning.
Impossible?? It was an easier fix to be honest . My father once repaired a 40 yr old jeepney. That was burned
What makes your videos more interesting, is your positive attitude towards a dead project! Being happy about finding Rust-free connectors , fixing a broken camshell of a multi-million dollar car. You inspire so many garage builders our there. Much love from India!
Hearing that taillight removal crunch noise is rough...
I believe the term is ham fisted!
It just about brought tears to my eyes.
I had to mute it
Add another 10k to the 'restoration'
So painful
I love this type of longer format videos. They really show all the work being done as well as feel more intimate. Died laughing at “you think the microphone pick that up?”
Bot
I agree so much more genuine content. I miss the long format videos
Way better, in my opinion, than the talk-montage-talk format. I know that got the casual viewers though, so I understand why it changed from the original lambo days. I hope this format makes more views/money, and is kept.
I appreciate the fact that you're doing more explaining and the longer videos as you said you would in the video 3 months ago, I look forward to the rest of the build and I wish you luck with it!
I'm glad that you have awesome support from your viewers. You deserve it. Excellent personality and human being. An inspiration for the new generation. Keep wrenching!!!!😄👍
The entire car community is watching and rooting for Freddy, and the boys to get this back together and on the road again. Crazy, crazy idea, but you guys will pull it off - no question about it.
I'm Just seriously hoping (because it's all we can do at this stage) he doesn't go completely bankrupt to do this.
@@pedropohren If you're worried watch his videos and buy a shirt.
I have my bets that there is no way in hell he could ever rebuild this P1 and get it running without pretty much buying a new P1, but that doesn't stop me from hoping that he does. Exciting journey all around.
Wrap it gold foil and she'll be right
1.1 mil and counting, all eyes on you Freddy, this a new era for your channel ❤️

This gonna have to be like a 200 part series and I'm all for it!
It's the only way he's going to not lose money on this thing... And I for one will be here to help build engagement revenue for Every. Single. Part.
@@marclabelle4253 if he gets enough views and some good sponsors on maybe a 10 part series it would easily pay off, but this stuff take time to work on the car and the video so it’s also a balance between amount of videos and hoping that people don’t just forget about the project. But I think this will be a pretty evergreen video that’ll keep being binge watched for years to come
Same here! We will never see a P1 apart like this again.
Still gonna finish it faster than Rob's 4 rotor 😂😂😂
I was thinking 30-40 episodes but man you don't know hopefully all goes pretty smooth
3:02 I found it hilarious when Fredy hit the trunk with his head and it just dumped a whole lot of sand, that just shows how easily fixable that car is 😂
All the best to you brother.I am so excited for this project can't wait to see how this turns out.this a new era for your channel fantastic stuff! Can't wait for the next episode! keep it up good luck.
Already a half million views in 6 hours!!! This is definitely taking your channel to a whole new level! Happy to see that!
so far has cost a dollar a view...... rooting for freddy to win

It's more like watching a dare devil. You're expecting a crash and fireball, but you're excited when he makes it.

I was in Florida and remember this happening. Just showed my wife and she's like oh shit he bought that McLaren. She's behind him as well. I normally don't care what people frivolously spend money on but I want to see Freddy succeed with this.
Don’t skimp on the PPE use, your a good guy and would hate you to have issues because you don’t use PPE
That’s so much work and congrats for that and it’s very satisfying and interesting to see the P1 from these angles like we don’t see a P1 like that every day 😅 and it’s so nice the fact that you and your team are giving so much passion in that project !
I honestly never heard of your channel before the first video you did when you bought it and I’m very impatient to see the final result of this restoration ! Good luck guys ;)
Fascinating videos guys. I'm rooting for you getting this beauty back on the road.

Tavarish has to be one of the biggest inspirations for DIY car repair out there. I get nervous fixing my cheap ass mustang at times, but remembering what this man and his team are capable of gives me the confidence to get through it. Good luck Freddie and the rest of the team involved. Looking forward to the forthcoming episodes
I deal with a lot of flooding vehicles. I know your excited about the engine getting started. But I would start stripping all the interior out soon. So much moisture will stay in there forever and will never dry out

The vacuum part where you expose the carbon underneath the water, it is really satisfying. Beautiful!
This is an amazing journey, it visits that age old saying of why you never buy a flood damaged car while also answering the question "What if you do?" Can't wait to see the next episode!
I sure am glad Freddy has hopefully gotten through his tough point in life as well as possible. And has to pay for his P1. We get consistent content again haha.
What tough point?
@@davidbryant3532 go back a few videos
Working on cars is a therapy for a lot of us… and when things get tough most of us look at bigger projects just so we can stabilize our moods.
I’ve been threw severe depression after losing the love of my life and moving states…
Last time I was depressed I bought the s2000 and put an absolutely massive super charger on it…
Now I’m extremely depressed, so up goes the boost and down goes the depression.
It’s therapy.
My only concern is it won’t be “consistent” as it costs so much for parts for this car. I imagine it’s something that is going to take a few years other than his other cars which are just super cars and a lot cheaper to fix
@@lewis9840 in the buying process episode on vin wiki he said he has a financial backer, I'd imagine they're in for the parts as well as the upfront cost
If you actually make this work then you’re a living legend in the car community !! I can’t wait to see you make it happen, only you can
He can sure do it, I have no doubts. The concern is that he is going bankrupt while doing it...:)
yeah just buy a whole new p1 in parts. EZ
Keep up the good work! Totally enjoying this series.
Just watched the @mattarmstrong vid of the Porsche build .. absolutely incredible build from all of you and great hospitality. Much respect and love from 🏴 ❤❤
Don't care how many episodes this takes, this already is an awesome rebuild series. Bravo!
Rebuild
He’s going to fail, i feel so sorry for him.
@Dean it's a pretty monumental rebuild. I think he can do it tho.
I don't know if you know this tavarish, but lithium batteries are hermetically sealed. Lithium reacts violently with contact with the air. So it has to be completely airtight. Lithium will spontaneously combust when it contacts oxygen. So the fact that your battery hasn't melted down, says that there is no water inside. Because if water could get in, Air could get in, and it would have melted down already.

Nice to see spring time shenanigans. The merci is amazing. Float a few ideas on a potential build. Your vision for supercars is spot on. You have taken the merci as far as it can go. You built your channel to what it is today. Move on. Houston will let you still drive it later.
Only Freddy is crazy enough to bring a flooded supercar back to life. I'm eagerly awaiting to see more!
Excuse me! It’s Tavarish, he has no interest in mere SUPERcar floods! He’s in the top league - bringing back HYPERcar floods 😂😂😂
...and then kill it again by taking it off a sweet jump and then blowing up its engine! He sure prefers his McLarens broken!
***Salt water flooded. There's a HUGE difference, as someone with a super rare freshwater flood sports car which, after being totaled, has been absolutely perfect for 3 years after just a deep cleaning. A salt water flood destroys literally everything which is why this intrigues me so much

If hes not willing to go broke, yeah hes gonna need to make a ton of videos of it
you can see he puts thoughts into how it's shot with even little things, like the washing the sand off the floor plates, could have easy tipped em up and jet washed them easier but knows its much more satisfying to watch the jet wash blasting away big chunks of it to almost new condition
Hi Freddy hope the P1 part hunting is going OK. Good to see you helping Matt with his Murci, and perfect time to be in the UK as you might source some donor or factory P1 bits. Don't leave the P1 too long as you need to totally neutralise the salt corrosion.
Being a "regular guy" who has no hope of ever owning an exotic car I never pay attention to these high-priced beauties. But this saga, this adventure you're on here has me hooked. I'm in for the duration. All the best to you brother.
You have hope G . You have to work for it , i also thought that i have no hope , but now i have found hope and i m running towards it
1. Get a job in the industry
2. Work 80+ hrs per week and learn everything you can about cars, your brand, your job, your customer base
3. 1 year later, buy exotic car
mclaren ought to collab on this thing, so far its been an awesome advert for their weather sealing
I bet they will, Freddy alluded to that in another video on someone else’s channel. Vinwiki maybe.
The sealed connections are probably jist Bosch or some other company that specializes in those. They have standards and such for water and dust resistance.
@@shadow105720 as sealed as they were, I was cringing when they were pulling the connectors with sand and junk all around them. A once clean connection could easily have sand ingress during inspection.
@@glsracer tell me you’ve never done anything like this without telling me.
At some point you just have to get stuck in. A little air will clear any sound out connectors; a bit of contact cleaner and it’s all good.

Great video that looking forward to the next one 👌🏻
Such high quality content. And that's not because of the car. The fact that this is a P1 is nice but what I mean with high quality content is how the video is made up AND your sponsor. I love when content creators don't just put any sponsor in the video. This really fits to your content. Everthing you do right now is just nice. You really deserve 1 million views in under 24h.
It gets easier the more time you have invested in the content creation business.

For perspective, at 1.1 Million views after only 18 hours. It would take a single person over 81 years of continuous watching this on loop to accumulate this much view time. Who knows what the view count is going to be after a week. At the rate RUclips Pays content creators for views, is is roughly equivalent to one fortnightly repayment if Freddy is planning on paying back this loan over 5 years.
I LOVE these videos. Thank you!
Perfect with the original sound. Love to see it running.
Never have I sat through a 40 minute car video and actually been interested/engaged the entire time. Keep up the great work my guy! Can’t wait to see how this project turns out.
Let’s hope someone at McLaren sees this and they will help you out with some of the stuff/parts that are really hard to fix. This is honestly the best exposure they can get! Can’t wait for the end result. Best of luck!
Knowing McLaren I would guess they will get little support from them they would not want this car back on the road
how does it benefit them in any manner what so ever? Unless it was completely rebuilt, by them, there is no way to put a positive spin on this from the companies point of view.
McLaren 100% would not be in support of anyone but them rebuilding this car and I have my doubts they would even agree to do it no matter what you paid them.
You’d be lucky if McLaren agree to sell you parts, at anything less than eye watering prices….
