I remember when this kit used to be 5-6K. New owner bought it and completely ruined the price point. Kits should be affordable and attainable for any working class auto enthusiast.

The stupidest thing they did was to change the platform to a recent model corvette, too expensive to use for a kit car base. I'm not sure if they're even making the kit any more and the styling isn't as sweet as the original imo.
@@symphantic4552Capitalism also involves knowing your market's price point too. If you over price your goods and go beyond your target market's expectations and budget then you're doomed to fail. Maybe you'll want to have a better understanding of how things work before throwing comments around based on limited knowledge.

Great job mate! Your Vaydor looks awesome! Always gets me when you get some people out there mocking kits or new bodies on cars when the industry has done it for decades upon decades anyway. And how many car makers have basically the same car as the other manufacture but with a slightly different body and a different badge? Most of them! How many of these companies do it to their own cars and then slap a totally different name on it (after some mods)? Most of them! I love watching guys do their own stuff at home like this, and I love the fact that most of these rebodied cars are actually better than the original car in almost every way lol. Love it!

It takes a lot of time and creativity to problem solve. People expect everything to just fit but nothing really fits everything has to be modified one way or another. Easy build but really time consuming

Thank you! Yeah thats what took the longest but there was no good fun way to show it is just a bunch of sanding and adding fiber. Its so worth it I cant wait till it get a proper paint job and that interior

This car has been on my list for years, sadly when i had the money i found out they got sold and now cost way more than they used to. Cant build one myself because of arthritis but maybe some day ill get one built for me

They are custom made 22 in by precision forged on instagram pretty good pricing look them up they can make whatever design you want
Fun facts: The so called "Purple Lamborghini" that Joker drove in "Suicide Squad" (2016) was actually this G35 with the exact same body kit on. Shaquille O'Neal actually owned this car but he sold it.

Looks like a supercar to me. Engine exhaust could use a bit more oomph. Not sure if a straight pipe would be legal there. Is that a V8? Because it kind of sounded like a V6 to me.
@@Billy-bc8pk a super car is super because of its performance, not appearance. It's still just a regular street car. Not trying to take from the builders. Simply clarifying what's a super car obviously.

I'm confused. If you were painting already, why not just paint it yellow?
Couldnt decide if i wanted that color permanently so i will be wrapping it couple different colors before i decide on final paint it will be cheaper and easier that way since i still cant decide what color to go with. Yellow is nice, but imagine a candy red or a metallic purple? I just cant decide yet

I would feel uneasy driving a fake Exotic car, cause super car enthusiasts know it's fake.
I would too if it was some type of replica but this is its own design so technically not fake. I never get any hate not even from supercar owners. Most people love the design and like that its different, that it requires skill to build

If you were able to prime and seal the car, why didn’t you just paint the car yellow instead of wrapping it?

That is a really great question. We did think about just going for a full paint job BUT we never decided what actual color we wanted so wrap was the way to go. Were gonna wrap it couple different colors and see which one we fall in love with to do it permanent with some good quality paint

@@aarontesterman3854 sure little man . That isnt a supercar. Mine is hand built though. So you may not like it because it's not a kit car . Mine will handle like an indy car and go 0 to 60 in a couple seconds and top out at 187. Unlike the kit car above. It's half done . I'll send pics.
It's not a super car cause you put a super car looking body on a regular car frame and motor.....like putting a piece of poop inside a pastry crust and calling it a beef wellington
True....but just like my 300td blk on blk with deep dish bbs rims and truck bed lined paint got more looks from the lambos and stopped at lights from the Maserati's in Socal than the actual super cars get.... Tomato tomaatoe
