Hey dude. Thank you for the video. I looked EVERYWHERE for a Photon M3 screen change, I didn't feel comfortable tackling it without some sort of guide. My screen arrives TOMORROW and I've been so nervous that I was gonna mess it up. Your video saved me my man, thank you.
I wrecked my screen about 18 months ago, anycubic couldn't provide me with detailed instructions so it got left to gather dust. Finally decided to see if anyone had uploaded a video to RUclips. I've just replaced the screen thanks to you! Thank you sir!
I really hope more brands start to follow this self-serviceable approach with their products. Besides the being more environmentally friendly it brings the chance of having the satisfaction of fixing a mistake.
Thank you so much, I was so frustrated that Anycubic has videos in this for every one of their printers EXCEPT this one. Like why??? Anyways, great guide. My printer looks good to go again.
I just wanted to thank you. This video hit the spot 100%! Got my screen cracked after wrong recalibration (my bad XD). Your guide helped me revive my Photon:) Thank you again!
My screen just cracked in half... I don't know why it happened. I was using a black resin (from Anycubic) to fix a part of my headphones and the print failed, when I started cleaning up I saw that the resin had spilled out of the container, thankfully the screen protector was on, but even so, after cleaning the screen I checked the LED and saw a big scratch and a black spot at the top, my heart stopped and I panicked and came to watch this video... Now I have to buy another screen, unfortunately it's out of stock on the official website. I'm sad now... Great video btw :)
The new display came with a screen protector pre-installed, that's why I didn't show it. The one I had before though... Yeah, that acetone use was WITH the screen protector off because that got dried resin on it too (my FEP punctured) so... Yeah
hi! I think I broke my m3 LCD, but not the screen it self...i really dont know what happened. When I expose de lights, there is no mask from LCD, and I can see some wire in the edge of the LCD screen....Watching you video I couldnt see any wire around under LCD screen....Im afraid to by a newone and this is good and figure out that I am the one who is doing BS....I coundnt find your Instagram, and no Facebook contact....I really need help
i have a question. why wasnt there a glass screen when u took off the Lcd screen. When i took my lcd screen off their is a glass screen below the lcd screen that is mounted on the printer. Can you take that out if thats the case i want to because my resin went down on that screen and i cant take it out.
I think yea it's just film it's my mistake, I rushed to clean the screen and there was a tiny hole. Is there a video you recommend to replace that film? I don't want to cause any more damage. To be honest, I haven't had the machine for even a month yet. @TechRodent 😀
Haha. Similar boat. I think any decent screen protector replacement video will teach you how to replace it. Maybe something like an iPad mini is similar in size

Thank you so much! This was a much needed video.

Thank you for this, I have the same printer and have screwed the screen on mine too, but with resin. just waiting fir the new scree.
Hola , amigo tube el mismo problema , pero no encuentro la pantalla en ninguna tienda , donde la puedo comprar , Gracias
You missed one crucial step: fit a screen protector. A replacement one is much cheaper than a new screen. 👍

please . Where can I buy the screen? I can't find it anywhere... I like one at anycubic but it's small and supposedly it was compatible with m 3
The M3 Max LCD screen is the same to Photon M3?
Di quanti pollici è lo schermo che hai cambiato?

the lcd still work just removed polarizer sheet, and replacment. buy 45° polarizer sheet
First, and that was an easy fix, if all screen replacements were that easy, the headaches i haaaad, but that was mostly smart phones.
I think it's mostly because it's designed to be replaced easily unlike mobile phones where they're more interested in you getting a new one

Might be a different revision
while cleaning resin drops I cut a tiny hole on that screen film so do I need to change all screen?? or is there a any idea how to fix it?
thanks
If it's just the screen protector can replace that easily and cheaply

@@TechRodent Mine didn't come with a screen protector and I didn't notice until after resin spilled out after a print. I use a Photon Mono 2.
My lcd screen won't work😢
