Ok so fun fact about this duel. Rebecca beating Yugi during the filler made her the queen of games. However, Valon beat Rebecca, Joey beat Valon, Mai beat Joey, Raphael beat Mai, and Yugi beat Raphael. So we're back where we started.
this episode touched my heart, just like when kaiba TOUCHED joey.
The way Kaiba says "careful, you almost dropped Joey" as he vaguely caringly stops him from falling on the floor was just strangely wholesome
Did he take Mai's unconscious body, plop it up against the elevator door, send the elevator down to the ground level, and then walk back to wait dramatically for the Pharaoh? Because I think that's what he did.

Anyone gonna mention the fact that Raphael took Mai's soul, put her in the elevator (somehow putting her in a position where she's standing until the doors open), shut the elevator, walked back, and waited, thinking "This is gon' look cool af."

I love how Littlekuriboh made Pegasus and Merrik just exaggerated versions of their actual characters... and Dartz was so dull and void of character that he basically had to create an entirely new personality for him.
Will the people in the comments stop talking about how Kaiba touched Joey.

I don't know why the pharaoh would refuse to carry Joey. He's already been doing it for like four seasons by this point.
