    Fantastic review. OK, this is the exact same box, parts, as the current model 360 Hansshow swivel monitor mount, but i would buy it from Abstract Ocean for ONE reason. Their written instructions must be better than what I received. Let’s face it, these items are just rebranded by multiple companies. I MEAN THE BOX and ALL the parts and tools are EXACTLY the same as the current Hansshow box/kit I received. I have installed four items on my own into my Model Y. This was VERY VERY easy to install and NOBODY should feel intimidated to install this. Take it slow, watch installation videos like this, over and over, and then prepare to do your own. It is the most logical, most appreciated aftermarket item you can give yourself for your TESLA. No more glare, and seeing what matters is easiest when it is adjusted to your height! I LOVE that from the outside of the car, your monitor doesn’t sit as high up in sight of pedestrians or would-be thieves (a little over 3 centimeters lower). For those of us who wear reading glasses, during charging, you will LOVE the ability to bring your monitor into the perfect sweet spot! Also, using our own tools with a long stem, makes the difficult screws encountered, far easier to install.

      A lot of great mentions, all I agree with. Both Hansshow and Abstract Ocean are great companies so it’s a win either way. BTW, we have coupon codes for both of you want to save a few bucks. LockettTech for both! Lol.

      No need. Mods are relatively easy unless you’re installing a subwoofer, which I’ve done.

    What’s the mount made of? There is one on the market that is machined from Aluminum.

    When you do a reset, why do you hold it for "one long minute"? How is that different from the normal 10-second reset?

    It’s been 11 month since you post it, how you like your screen now? I mean that it is moving, so you still think it is a good idea of doing it? Please let me know, no one has review a year later on it. Would love to have an update!

      It is awesome and still works like new. No issues at all. It's one of our favorite accessories actually. Being able to turn it towards the driver gives so much of a better viewing angle.

    Omg, the thought of tampering with a Tesla monitor terrifies me. Wondering if tampering with it will nullify the warranty. Way to risky or am I the only one that thinks this way?

    • @niag9950
      @niag9950 2 года назад +1

      I asked my Tesla dealership and they said it doesn’t nullify the warranty. I asked prior to installing my Hansshow 360 monitor swivel.

    • @LockettTech
      @LockettTech  2 года назад +1

      Definitely does NOT void the warranty of the screen. It really is simple to do. It’s such a simple thing to upgrade but makes a huge difference.

      Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects US citizens from having their warranty voided due to aftermarket mods. Only mods which cause part failures void warranties.

    Are concerned that you may be invalidating your warranty?

    • @Itsjustanopinionchill
      @Itsjustanopinionchill 2 года назад +1

      You can't invalidate the warranty. They would have to prove that the screen mount, or messing with the connectors are the cause of a failure. And even if it did break something it only invalidates that part. For example You do this and a week later your your wheel falls off. There is 0 chance tesla can claim. The screen mod is the root cause. Likewise say you do this and then your screen stops working. They would still have to prove you removing and replacing the connector caused the failure.
