  • DIY! In this Video i will show you how to make an ultraviolet light box / blacklight.
I also use UV Light to bleach the shells of old thing which went yellowish over the time, but there’s many other usability for these boxes! You can use it to harden different things like resin and other stuff, even photographer can use it for their pictures editing. (also you can use it for: bleaching, photography, bleaching sneaker, harden fingernails or resin, Retr0bright,...)
You should never look directly at this light or turn this on while you are near it for extended periods of time. It can cause severe eye damage, so please use in the intended way and be careful. Thanks for watching.

Thank you! I have exactly the same thing but much less efficient (I wrapped the strips around the top of the box). I'm going to use your version now - to develop photographic salt prints and cyanotypes - putting the picture on the lid with the box upside down ...making sure the light strips are well fastened so they don't fall down on the picture! Never knew you could use uv to bleach things - will try that too!

Hello, thank you for your great idea. My question is about the UV light strips. How sure can we be that it is a correct type of light. I've heard that it must be in 200-280nm wavelength range. Do you know if one can check it?

@@restoreeverything8654 I was under the ipression that 395-405 was for finding fluids etc and not ideal for curing resin. I believe the ideal nm for curing uv resin is 365. I also understood you need closer to 36w of light rather than the 24 those strips offer.
