Don’t know if you have shown this or not, but there is an episode where Barney is trying to remember the Preamble to the Constitution. His hair is messy in some scenes and not in others. Love this channel!
I remember as a youngster, it came on M-F at 430pm, as Andy of Mayberry...I am 72, about the same age as Ron Howard and its better than ever.......Thanks for this channel..........
I thought I was a trained noticer but the reverse shots, the Coors truck and the tuba reflection got by me. I’m always looking for crew reflections. Great video Bob!
I had not noticed any of those things. Thanks, for pointing them out! It is, however, important to remember that the show was intended for a small low resolution screen that would not have allowed viewers to discern most of those things, even if they were parked inches from it. As for myself, I was always paying attention to the storyline and the actors' portrayals of their characters - so, I would never have noticed those things on a 100 inch screen at 4k resolution.
Bob I enjoy your show and love all your CHOSEN t-shirts. My wife & I are also CHOSEN Fans. Thanks for all your prayers. GOD BLESS y'all ! From Eastern NC
'The Chosen' is the best thing on TV. My wife got me a ROKU for father's day so I can catch season 4 on tv instead of my phone. I have watched the first three seasons (and i am not kidding) probably 50-60 times. I watch every morning from like 6-10am...find something new every time almost.
How about the cash register that kept moving around? it appeared in Walker's drugstore, Wally's filling station, Weaver's department store, even a rummage sale at the courthouse. You previously mentioned an incident in Mountain Wedding where Andy and Barney changed positions. Did the actors or someone on the crew install those microphones with the cables?
In severe episodes you can see their shadows on the wall behind them from the lights they use. Watching to one about the bank robbery and can see it when Barney is taking to ACE
There was also a noticeable change in Otis's shirt after Barney threw a tomato at him in the quick and the dead deputy scene. After Barney hits him the stain is lower on his white shirt. In the next scene, the stain has moved up closer to neck!
I like the show so much I never noticed any errors. I don't look for errors so much as I look for historical inaccuracies, especially in TV westerns. Of course everyone remembers the Bonanza episode with the jet contrails in the sky but there's so much more than that. I think the biggest historical flub is the attire. Plastic buttons. Double knit fabric. Woman's cut blue jeans. Hairstyles and teeth are also glaringly inaccurate. Why do you think nobody smiles in 19th century photography?
Thanks Bob for this AGS F & T segment. This was interesting and fun some of which you have shown us prior, hopefully you will continue to share more that you find. Great segment.
Nice but we got a real problem thats got to be investigated. The Taylors had a list of houseguests a mile long that stayed in the guest room, yet when Olly, Nora and the boys visit they had to double up with the family. What gives? Were they renting a room and we didn't know? Did they have a machine for cutting old car tires in that room then? Maybe the room was hijacked by hubcaps Lesh and her gang of hoods. I think we may have to call Hogarth to get this figured out. The last thing they need is Opie having to adventure sleep on the ironing board again.
I noticed on the episode the darlings come to town when andy comes over to the darlings truck 🚚 a microphone wire runs down Andy's pants 👖 leg I saw that good video bob
S1 Ep7 "Andy The Matchmaker" Barney comes into the courthouse to quit and as he's removing his items he pulls his bullet out of his Right pocket. He does this once again in S5 Ep23 "TV Or Not TV" when he sees flashlights on inside the bank. He quickly goes to the front door and fumbles his gun out of it's holster and removes the bullet from his Right pocket.
Have you ever noticed in the episode Barney’s first car after Barney bought the car he tells her not to look back a shot of Andy and Barney on the porch is backwards the door bell is on the wrong side Andy’s hair is combed the other way
In the gold truck episode Rance Howard and another actor tell Barney they will wait for Andy to return to tell him their news( much to Barney's displeasure of course). Look carefully when Opie enters the courthouse, because it's a quick scan, but clearly the two men sitting in the background are not the same men. They look heavier (especially compared to rail thin Rance) and wear darker clothes and hats.
I used to drive a Coors delivery truck to Mayberry twice a week back in the day. If you believe that I have some swamp property to sell you in Mt Pilot!! 😉
@@johnmartin3200 dont put that in writing it will come back to haunt the both of us! But then again i could go for some of aunt bee's chicken and dumplin's....and sweet tater pie
The episode title dogs dogs dogs, how they thought the one dog ran away but he cane back with 10 more dogs cause it was 11 total, how did they get in the court house , there are no swinging doors and otis was locked in jail
I was in the military for 3 years at Ft Bragg, NC and so my question is, where are all the black folks in Mayberry, NC? There were many in Fayetteville...
Most of these are typical goofs. The Coors Truck in Mayberry is a real gem of a mistake. It reminds me of the Starbucks cup on table in Game of Thrones. It makes you wonder if they leave these glaring mistakes in on purpose!

I've noticed that.
One of my favorites!!
We..we the..we the people...
@@VeronicaArmenta-r9n That was sooo funny!
There is the episode where Barney jumps out from behind the crates and the director Bob Sweeney shouts “Don!”
I did notice the fishing line pulling the chicken's neck. The rest were new to me.
I noticed that whenever Andy, Barney, or whoever came in or left the courthouse, there seemed to be different backgrounds outside of the front door.
I have been watching sine I was three years old. i am now 61. I love this show more than ever. Thanks Bob for the trivia.

In that episode at 1:02 I believe the mirror effect is very noticeable when they show Andy’s head….his hair is parted on the opposite side.
Wow! Great catches Bob. I'm too busy enjoying the shows to notice. 😂
Lol
I never notice these things, I'm to busy laughing at the episode. Good video.
I haven't noticed much of this. In the future I'm going to start paying closer attention.

The Coors truck!
Bob great video thanks God Bless Much Love Jean
I always wondered why Barney was first referred to as Andy’s cousin and that’s how he got the job as deputy, but then it was never mentioned again.
The show wasnt big on continuity
There was also a noticeable change in Otis's shirt after Barney threw a tomato at him in the quick and the dead deputy scene. After Barney hits him the stain is lower on his white shirt. In the next scene, the stain has moved up closer to neck!
Nice one Bob.......keep it up!
The Coors truck scene was probably shot somewhere in LA. Back then Coors was only sold in the western states, and California was one of them.

Bob - check out the maps behind Andy at office . One is Idaho
One is cincinnati

Any idea why they would flip the Earnest T. Bass shot?

I wonder how many of these they caught, but disregarded nevertheless
Probably more than we would suspect

Pretty neat.
Good eyes!
Curtis needs coors
Bob, why would they possibly want to reverse film??? Huh??
They used something already shot so they wouldnt have to shoot a whole new scene...saves time and money

AY 321 was used on several different cars too

Still don't see the need to point out minor flaws of a great show
Because it's fun to look for. This not a knock to the show. If i wanted to do that, why would i have a youtube channel to pay tribute to it?

I did not like the character of Helen. She was so easily angered and had no sense of humor. She was too demanding, and not affectionate to Andy.
