BUILDING A "SCRAP WOOD" BIKE RAMP!!

I decided to take on the challenge of transforming an old scrap pile of timber into the ultimate mini kicker ramp and set myself some urban free ride challenges to tackle using my new ramp...
I am using my custom hardtail dirt jump bike in this video and you might be surprised at what was possible on such a small kicker ramp... was a backflip even possible??

I feel inspired after watching that Tom. I really must get my 2 ramps out again. I haven't used them for a while. I use the kicker for take off and the wedge for landing and gradually pull them apart to get used to bigger gaps, not that I do big gaps but it helps. They get used more for my RC Monster Truck. 😜

I've been thinking about doing my own scrap wood ramp build, but I'm no where near your level, and I'm afraid of making a ramp that I cannot ride. Is there any sort of resource or rule of thumb for finding "the right curve" for a ramp? It's more to be able to practice jumping in general as opposed to doing tricks. I have made straight run ramps but they only get you so far and don't prepare you for any sort of curved jump. I'm a hobbyist woodworker so buying a pre-made ramp is not an option!
