In this video, I turn 2 used pallets into this awesome mountain bike jump and you can download the plans to build your own.
There are many reasons why you shouldn’t build with pallet wood and they are unsuitable for public mountain bike trails.
Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small amount of money if you make a purchase using it. It does not cost you anything extra and is a great way to support the channel.

Paint ist Green and black that wood look so aggressive

@@cutlaps yeah
You just showed me I dont need mountains for a good jump. The Netherlands will be an amazing riding experience with pallets now!
For sure! I bet there are lots of places you could set a kicker like this up and have a lot of fun.
Als je er een hebt gemaakt, hopelijk woon je in Haarlem 😂
@@Bigpapa846 Helaas haha
DUDE this vid was sick as, It's seriously making me want to make one now. YEEEWW.
Oooh yeah! Thanks mate

So awesome! The pallet is a mega building block for all Trials riders, too - it's the key to our progression. We just stack them up (and strap them together) to jump higher and higher!
Oh nice! Trials ridng is so impressive, blows my mind some of the stuff you guys do.
Dude, sweet project! My mom and I used to turn old pallets into patio furniture for ourselves and this was some sweet nostalgia. I love how official this looks and your attention to detail. Keep up the good work!
Haha yeah I imagined it looking a bit different in my head lol. At least it stands out for the thumbnail. Stoked you enjoyed the video and brought back some memories of building furniture.
You’re amazing you’ve inspired me so much to start mountain biking again keep up the AMAZING work!❤❤
That is awesome to read! Thank you
Nice build!
It's a good idea to prime the wood first and the top layer will be much nicer if you mix it with a bit of sand to prevent it being slippery, as it can easily get after being painted with high gloss paint like it looks like you used.
But loving the idea.
Adding sand is a great idea for extra grip. The paint I used is actually self priming with a matt finish.
Hey Mate, your videos have inspired me to build my own jumps you have given me some courage to go outside and be creative. The measurements will definitely help me. Keep the awesome ideas and videos up and have good day.
Thanks legend! That's awesome to hear! It's so fun being creative outside building trails. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help.
Why I should win a t-shirt? I think I should win because I’ve got inspired from your gnarly and sick builds/trails and actually got on the tools and made my own massive jumps at my farm. So thank you cutlaps for giving me new ideas each video, thank you!
Wow that is awesome to hear! Sounds like you have a fun bike park of your own to ride. Thanks for commenting and you have ben entered into the next t shirt giveaway.
Recently came across your channel and it's definitely one of my new favorites. Your trails and all the unique features you've made yourself are so sick and I'm definitely going to attempt to do some fun stuff in my backyard 🤘
Awesome mate! So much fun building and riding your own trails. You will have a lot of fun.
I gotta do this! Thanks for the idea.
No worries!
WOW !!, just wow. Very awesome video. I just subscribed and liked.
The second you put the pic up of the second ramp side, I saw what you did because I still do that from time to time, but used to do it all the time. It was so awesome that you put that goof up for us to learn from and your fix for it.
Thanks for the sub and liking! Yeah it is a mistake I will definitely make again in the future haha. I did remember for the latest build at least.
I love you cutlaps. I’ve watched you for months and every time you uploaded a video I would go watch it in any situation I was in!
Thanks Lachie! Thats really cool that you have been enjoying my videos.
Loving how simple and humble this is. Instructions right in time for Aussie Summer.
Yeiwwwww things are definitely heating up down under.
I absolutely love your videos. I have began my small MTB bark in my back woods solely from seeing you videos and thinking how cool it would be to build stuff like yourself. Absolutely stoked for the next video. Keep on with your great work!
Dude that's so cool! Hope you have a great time out there digging and riding.
@@cutlaps Thanks man, you too!
so awesome! the pallets look really sturdy, that is a good little jump to do some sends
Yeah, I was a bit nervous about building with pallets, but I think I came up with a pretty strong design. I just need to treat it well and it should last a while.
Sick video thanks Im gonna build my own jumps thanks for the inspiration love the Shirts by the way
Very cool! I have a new shirt deisgn coming out soon as well. Hope you have fun building jumps.
mate, what ya doing is sick. being able to watch your videos probably made my day. in lockdown we built bike trails in our backyard, we haven't made any wooden kickers yet but this make it seem simple to do so. you should make a vid on how ho make a skinny out of pallets.
Lock down was so good for backyard trails. I actually had a good time duing lock down lol. A pallet skinny could be fun.
Love it!! My son and I have been building jumps and skinnies out of pallets for a while now, but this video showed me that I need to step up my game! Thank you for the details!!
Sounds like a lot of fun for you guys. I was kinda suprised how well the kicker came together. It's solid and hard to tell it was even a couple of pallets to begin with.
Hey cutlaps, I just wanted to say that your vids are amazing and that I am definitly going to use our tips and tricks for my self. ;)
Hey Paul, thats cool. Hope you have fun building this. Share some pics of it with me on instagram.
Just want to say a big thank you.
My daughter really enjoyed building the ramp following your plans as well as riding it.
Top man big thumbs up
Very cool! Stoked it worked well and she is enjoying it! Thank you for wtching.

Yes Luke!!
This video is perfect.
Ive actually been working on a wooden "manny pad"/grind box for my unicycle the last few weeks and seeing this has sparked all kinds of new ideas and techniques!
I love all of your content mate, please keep it coming!
Very cool, gotta take the time to make a solid build when working with pallets but its hard to pass up free wood!
Yoo man this video was amazing too!! I love your videos! Stay on the grind brother!!
Thanks mate!
I love the way you used the pallets for a jump. It’s inspired me to make my own!
Awesome good luck with your build. Always be careful with pallets, some of the wood can be a bit dodgy.
Another great cutlaps video. ive been doing a similar thing with and old bed frame and its great fun
great video luke!
Oh that sounds cool. I would love to see some photos and videos.

Will be interesting to see how it performs. Thanks
insane!!!me and my friend wanted to build a mini trail so much we got to make a path but didnt know how to make a kicker.this helped alot thank you so much
Glad to help. Just remember that pallet wood doesn't last long out in the weather. You need to make sure you keep checking it and making sure its strong enough to ride.
Dude that kicker is sick! Cheers to letting us use the plans man. I dont think any other RUclipsr would do such a thing for their viewers!
Me and my dad are planning on making one soon! 🎉
Awesome mate. Hope you have a fun time building it with your dad!
Yo just started watching a couple of months ago and I am addicted in the best way possible love your stuff man keep it👍
Awesome! Thanks mate. I hope its a healthy addiction.
Incredible what a clever mind can come up with from junk wood, I've been watching your videos since you were a lot smaller channel, I'd gotten into mountain biking and had just recently broken my clavicle doing a jump... determined to make jumps and trails like you, keep up the awesome videos, they are great entertainment while recovering!!
It was a fun challenge for sure. Hard to tell that it used to be a pallet now. Stoked you have been watching my videos for so long. Hope that broken clavicle is all healed up and you are back jumping.
Solid Video, thanks! I've been wanting to get into doing jumps and I've never known where to start, this seems like the perfect thing to grow my confidence. Thanks mate!
Awesome, yeah I don't have much confidence when it comes to jumps either. So this will help me work on my pop. I think I need something a littlebit bigger now.
Just found the channel and am building my own trails this summer. Can’t wait to try out a pallet kicker!
Thats awesome, glad you found my channel then!
Yo I love your videos they inspire me to do more biking stuff❤
Awesome thats what I love to hear
Thanks für this great Tutorial its just so easy to gather that much wood for free, I build something by my own with the same idea and it worked out perfect!

Its been really cool to see photos and videos of other people who have built the kicker. Hope you have fun building one as well.
Thanks for the inspiration to build some sweet pallet features for my kids to work on their bike jumping skills.
Perfect kicker for that!
Great video! Thanks for the ideas!
No worries! Glad you enjoyed it.

Hahah awesome. Mine all came from a tile shop, and they were in great condition.
love the colours on the ramp i have to build it myself
Theres been a few people that really liked the colours. I just pictured it very different in my head but now I am used to it.
That video was awesome. Keep it up!!!
Cheers legend
Can’t wait to build my own! I can get pallets at work like there’s no tomorrow. I’ll be building all sizes, shapes and maybe even a table top for beginners. I appreciate you doing this!
Awesome! Have fun mate!
That’s sick I made the same one for my nephew cheers for the idea
Awesome. Hope it turned out great.
I love your videos and you are awesome. I made a kicker and it's too good. keep up the good videos.
Thats awesome. Share videos and pics with me on Instagram!
Awesome bro! This is so cool, I know that pallets can be a pain so props to you! I feel pretty inspired to make this or something similar too!
Thanks mate, yeah pallets can be a bit of a pain in the butt. That second one was a bt frustrating but I had enough wood in the end. Have fun with your build
@@cutlaps Thanks mate!
Your a legend man your so good at what you do and always find a way to inspire me keep up the good work man 👍
Awesome. Stoked that I inspire you. Thanks for the comment.
Dude this was awesome! I'm definitely building this with some old pallets. Nice job man!
Thanks legend. Make sure the pallet wood is up to scratch. Some of it's not safe to use.
Hey man really creative video, we have been enjoying them for a while. Keep the sick videos coming. P.S I would love a T-shirt
Thanks mate! Good luck with the next shirt contest.
What a little ripper! Also the colours are dope
Seems like some people love the colours and others hate them. They have grown on me a little but I think I would prefer something instead of the orange.
Awesome video man I’ve been wanting to build a kicker for a while and now I have no excuse great work thankyou 🤪
Thanks mate! Good luck with the build.
That is the strongest looking pallet jump I've ever seen 😮very well built 👌
Thanks mate! I just hope it stays that way. Always good to check over it before each use, pallet wood can fall apart easy haha
This video was amazing building it on the weekend
Very cool. Hope you had fun building it
I built this amazing project and it is the best design EVER! I wish I was as talented as you. Keep up the great work with those vids
Thanks mate! Glad you liked it
Epic work mate!
What is even more epic is the background in the last few frames of this edit 👌👌
Not a bad spot to set up a kicker hey!
What a cool idea!!! I enjoyed watching your creative process. I want to make one myself now. 🤙
It turned out better than I exected. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the great video! I have been wanting to make one, now I have a great video to go by.
No worries, Hope it turns out well.
Your videos are so intuitive and entertaining 🙌🏽
Stoked you like them.
Love the vids keep it up this helped a lot because I need a good ramp for me and my freinds
Thanks mate. Hope you and your friends have fun!
Amazing video Luke! Keep it up, looking forward to more videos!
Thank you!
OMG that looks great. Thanks for the idea.
No worries mate
u really helped me with the pallets because i wanted to build a kicker just like yours and build my mom a table and a bench fot her front yard but i didnt knew where to get pallets from
I hope you can find pallets as easy as I can. Good luck.
Yes Luke. What a sick little idea mate, and even better it’s Ebike suited. Your a wiz on the design gear! Well done mate 👊🏼
Thanks dude. Yeah it ended up pretty strong. I will have to keep checking it over time to make sure the wood is holding up. Pallets can be a it dodgy.
This is sick, definitely gonna try to build one!
Sweet. Have fun
I work with pallets everyday and never saw this potential in them, great video man!
Thanks mate.
thank you so much for this video i am definitely going to make this one
Legend hope it goes well
Great idea Luke! Love the tool to get the pallet deck off 👌
Yeah that tool came in very handy. Saved a lot of time and frustration.
Love this idea. Wood is so expensive at the store and I see pallet wood all the time but like you said, be careful with the quality. I was planning on building a small practice jump with dirt but I like the fact that you can move the jump to different areas and even get it totally out the way if needed. Thanks for the plans too!!
Yeah its perfect for moving around. You can even add wheels to one end of it so you can roll it around better.
Thanks for the tutorial, I will do this with my friends, I will send the results
Awesome. You can chare photos and videos on Instagram. I would love to see them.
THANK YOU FOR THIS AWSOME CONTENT!!
No worries legend!
Thanks for yet another amazing video, keep it up!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
Dude that kickers is super sick. I think I am going to make one for me and the kids. Thanks for the video brother
