Sounds like your symptoms were way more severe than mine, but I'm happy to hear that they are starting to lessen. I was getting depressed because I've missed the steak and bbq !
I broke out with hives. I started throwing up. I got up from the bathroom and passed out. My head slammed into the wall. My heart kept dropping in the 30's. I ended up going to the hospital by ambulance. It taught me a very good lesson. I don't mess with it anymore.
Wow! Sorry to hear you have such a severe reaction to red meat allergy. I hope you get better soon and no more incident like that. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I always break out in full-blown hives They are saying you can introduce very small amounts dropper size of red meat over a month time and sometimes it will go away Haven’t tried it yet
Users discussing alpha gal on Twitter were being banned before Musk took over which tells me this allergy is man-made. Let's see if utube does the same
I would make sure your blood levels are normal because from my experience when I first found out I had alpha gal the more I ate red meat the symptoms progressed and I almost died. I am on my 4th year not eating red meat.
I got bit by a lone star tick and suspect I have alpha gal. Everytime I eat red meat, I wake up constantly in the night unable to breathe, like my throat is slightly tighter (though this is my only symptom). Did you have any similar experiences?
I find I can eat some red meats at times. I have the Alpha-Gal test done twice a year so I can see where my levels are. I have one scheduled this week. I don’t think it will ever go away but as you say it will diminish over time. I can’t eat Pork Butt or ribs at all but occasionally I can eat lean pork chops. It seems to be the dark meat that bothers me. I can usually eat beef as long as my levels have not crept back up.
I've had Alpha Gal for more than 25 years and haven't had an episode for about 2 years. I can eat cheese and ice cream if I don't over do it. But I haven't had red meat for 25 years. I am about to try a hamburger sometime soon. I keep my epi pen & Benadryl handy always. I have had a few small sausage balls without any effect. Good Luck!!
20 years with no red meat thought I would try to desensitize with tiny bits of meat after about 1/8 tsp of hamburger 8 hrs later landed in the ER with my throat closing. Guess I won’t try experimenting again.
Central Nervous System - affects electrochemical processes all over your body and its various systems, digestive, auto-immune, circulatory, etc, etc blocking your auto-immune systems reaction to red meat for a short period of time can reset its reactions to red meat But manipulating yourcebntralnervous system is not a perfect or precise science. That said, anecfoctally, some accupuncture specialists have helped people overcome alphagal. Try searching for videos about it. Best wishes for you.
@@edenrenee7392Did the acupuncturist try the SAAT treatment a second time? They will usually do a second treatment if the first one doesn’t work. Please let me hear from you, as I am going to try the SAAT treatment, but don’t have an appointment yet. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your personal experience. I hope you are permanently cure from the alpha gal.
Restaurants don’t do a very good job regarding cross contamination, despite what a server, manager, or member of the kitchen staff may tell you.

It's crazy almost all videos about this subject comments have been cut off. Must be because this is a bio attack upon the people of this country.

Yes, it's strange. Most of my comments about lyme disease get deleted...
Agreed

I may have it, not sure yet. Waiting for the test. Thanks for your helpful info.

I have alphagal and yes this is a symptom. Very scary
The first thing I notice is feeling like I have a lump in my throat. I've been covered in hives before.
@@loupgarou1261 I'd say get tested asap.
Every time you have an attack it will get worse.

I just got diagnosed with Alpha Gal today. It sucks
For me it lasted for a year and a half. Be careful with vitamins too. They can be way worse than the meats.

Just got diagnosed with Alpha gal after 7 months of a horrible itchy rash. Never even heard of it until last week.

Has anyone heard about keeping off oxalates to treat it? I heard briefly of it, but have failed to find any more out about it.
I've never come across that information but would love to hear more on that.
I read where a girl went strict carnivore for 3 months and healed it. I’m trying it now. We will see how it goes

Perhaps if you try meat again it could be a bite of grass fed steak . Just meat in its natural form x
