I am a beginner knitter and I made these! So proud of myself. They came out great, I use them all the time and even get compliments on them. Thank you for teaching and sharing with us! 🥰
Bless you for not knitting something circular in the round. Other people make it seem like it's impossible to make round things with straight needles. These are so cool. I'm a relatively new knitter.
thanks for this :)) i started in knitting 2 years ago but didn’t do it for very long. i’ve been wanting fingerless mittens and then i remembered i had my knitting stuff somewhere hidden in my closet! anyways, this is actually a really great tutorial for someone like me, who’s a little rusty with their knitting skills, but only needs a slight refresher
Hi Kylee! That makes me so happy to hear that you are able to pick up your needles again! I’ve only been knitting for two years, as well! I’m obsessed! Happy knitting 🧶🥰 Thanks for commenting!
Thank you Fia! Yay! I'm so happy to hear this! Hope you enjoy this project 😍💖 Reminds me that I need to make more for gifts this year! Have fun knitting!
Thank you for sharing, for someone who has only been knitting for six months you are doing a great job and well explained I have been knitting for 40 years and never thought of doing fingerless gloves. 🥰
Thank you Diane! I think because I’ve crocheted since I was 5 years old, it’s been a pretty easy transition for me. Plus, I’ve watched tons of RUclips videos which are super helpful 🥰 Thanks Dow commenting! I really appreciate it 💖😍
Made these last year, and i’m making them again! I learnt how to knit last year and this was one of my first knitting projects. I’m not a begginer anymore, but im still back to make it again, it’s really that great. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you for this video! I can’t wait to make these! Also, you have the best way of showing us how to take the stitches off the needle to fix a mistake. Thank you!
I learned basic knitting years ago and wanted to start again & do something simple for a friend. While searching I found this & I am glad I did. You explained everything so well, I know exactly what to do and it's also very simple yet beautiful! Thanks for uploading this❤️
I've been knitting for about 9 months, just saw your video. Very nicely done. I have seen many tutorials aimed at the new beginner but yours stands out, very clear and concise, without too much repetition. Good luck with the channel, I'll be watching for more from you😀
Nana! That is just the sweetest compliment I could ever have. Thank you so much for that encouragement! I am so grateful to have you along for the ride! I do have a knitted lap blanket coming soon and it' made with a similar look. I can't wait to share it! Thank you for watching and happy knitting! I am always here to help if you have any questions. xoxo
So lovely and so very wonderfully simple! 💕 Thank you Sparkly One! I'm following along with your video and I greatly appreciate your gentle enthusiasm 😊for the craft of knitting and for sharing it with others. May God bless you, dear! And everyone here and around the world 🌎♥
I’m glad I found your channel because I’m a crocheter too and I’ve always loved the look of knitted things and have tried a few times but I’m so slow at it because it’s definitely different hand motions... thank you for these, they are super cute!!!! I love the different stitches you do for these!!!! What else to do on lockdown, learn to knit!!!! And I love how you explain each stitch and the mistakes too!!! This makes so much sense to me and I’ve watched lots of knitting channels; you explain it perfectly and it’s so easy to understand. Thanks again for sharing this!!!
Rebecca! You made my day! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments 😍 I was hoping that I could get a few crocheters to learn to knit! Yay! It's such a beautiful art and so fun to learn! I thought that being a newbie I would be able to share my journey and my mistakes along the way. I have another tutorial coming up in the near future. Lockdown has been an inspiration to keep on learning new things! Glad you can relate. Hope to hear from you again. God bless xoxo
Long tail cast on ❤️❤️ I use that as well 👍🏾.. also, the crocheted edge onto the needle 🤗 blessings I'm doing gloves with the fingers and fingerless ❤️😀 knitted and crochet 🧶✌🏽☕ I love it,too.especially, doing it on chat and knit or crochet 🧶 chats live streams ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.so many on RUclips ❤️ whooo hooo 🤗
So nice to see you! Yeay knitting!! I used to knit a little and have wanted to get back at it...I will for sure now! You did a great job and are such a good teacher. I'll be making these fingerless gloves for sure. Bless you 🤍✝️🤍💖🌌💖🕊🐦🌈
Thanks so much for the pattern. I want to try it. I also wanted to ask which yarn you used for the black/white pair of gloves that you show in the video. Thank you!!!
Hi Char! I hope you try it, you'll probably breeze through them if you have experience. My mother in law gave me a bunch of knitting needles years ago, so I'm so happy to have been able to finally use them! Yay! Hope you are healthy, we are great here in Southern Californa. God Bless you 😍🙏😘
Like your design good instructions only thing I need to know is when you do rib stitch do you always start each row with knit 2purl 2 then when you turn to go to next row do ya start with knit 2purl2or do you start with purl 2knit 2 thanks
Thank you for this video, so easy to follow! I was just wondering - what type of yarn did you use for the blue gloves that you show? It looks like thinner yarn compared to the pink yarn you use and I was wanting to knit some gloves that are quite thin. Thank you!
Hi Jade! Yes, the blue yarn is a worsted weight size 4 yarn, but it was given to me and it didn’t have a label. So sorry about that. Any size 4 would be lovely 🥰
@@SparklyOne Thank you so much for your help! 😀 sorry another question… did you use the same size needles with the blue yarn? I’m a new knitter and only have one pair of needles that are 6mm!
Hi Jade, I used size 6 US needles, which is a 4.00 mm needle. I think your 8.00 mm would be too big. I do recommend buying a smaller needle. You can buy them for a few dollars. Happy knitting!
Do you know what yarn the blue colored ones are? I love that turquoise/aqua color. That is not a chunky yarn is it? What size needles do you use for that yarn? Is the number if stitches the same?? Thank you!!
Yes, they are a 4 mm needle (size 6 US) and I used 1 skein. I didn't use the whole skein and had enough leftover to make another pair. Sorry for the late response. Hopefully you already made a few! Happy knitting!
I'm assuming the needle size listed in the video is US size ? Which would mean 8 UK / 4.0mm ? It also doesn't list the 'gauge size' of the yarn and needles which would be handy to have to know how to adjust the the needle size and yarn type.
Thank you Aleta for the suggestion. I have never used a gauge so I'll have to learn to do that. I'm a beginner at knitting, so I'm still learning. Yes, the size is the US size. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it!
That’s so fun! It’s not that often I find another Ronda without an “h” 💝😊🙌🏻 How old is your daughter? I’ve never met a Ronda under 50 haha! It would be interesting to see if our name is making it back into the younger generation 🥰
Oh, I know it's a little difficult to see, I don't know why RUclips doesn't make it easier to find. Just look at where the title is and how many views the video has and you will see a bold lettering saying "more"...just click on that and it will open up the description box. I hope that helps.
I litter my almost cried while doing this so I asked my dad for help and he said he is busy so he said I should ask my mom but I said she will say no and my dad said when she is rested

thanks for the tutorial! Love it. Would it be 4 mm needles? And how much yarn did you use for a pair of adult sized gloves? Thanks!
Yes, they are a 4 mm needle (size 6 US) and I used 1 skein. I didn't use the whole skein and had enough leftover to make another pair. Sorry for the late response. Hopefully you already made a few! Happy knitting!

So cute!!!!! Ciao Ronda from Italia! Kiss kiss
😘🙏🏻💖 Thank you!
Did anyone else notice her huge engagement ring? So pretty!
Thank you! 34 years of marriage 🌸🥰💝🙏🏻
Do you know where your friend got the knit kit
She got it from a local knit shop about 10 years ago
Hi, I am wondering if that yarn is baby bee sweet delight chunky yarn?
I am also wondering if these needles are UK size 6,or US size 10?
Hi Stacey 😊 All the info is in the description box, but yes, it is Baby Bee Sweet Delight. The needles are US size 6. Happy knitting 🧶 💖🤩
I'm assuming the needle size listed in the video is US size ? Which would mean 8 UK / 4.0mm ? It also doesn't list the 'gauge size' of the yarn and needles which would be handy to have to know how to adjust the the needle size and yarn type.

@@SparklyOne that's really sweet of you to reply. You are doing really well for a beginner knitter.
Thank you so much! I’m really enjoying it 🥰 I’ve been a crocheter for 55 years, so I’m doing my best to change my brain to knitting terms. Haha
Hi there. When you say that you are using size 6 DPN’s are you referring to them being a size 6 / 4.00mm or do you mean 6.00 mm. Thanks.
Hi Carla, they are size 6.
You spell your name the same as my daughter. I spelled it like that because I named her after my dad's name, which his name was Ron.
That’s so fun! It’s not that often I find another Ronda without an “h” 💝😊🙌🏻 How old is your daughter? I’ve never met a Ronda under 50 haha! It would be interesting to see if our name is making it back into the younger generation 🥰
I have size 4 weight yarn, do you know what size needles I need? I have US 6, and 10. I also have 6 and 11 rounds.
Hi Carrie, use the Size 6 and see how it fits you. It’s a good idea to practice and it’s a quick project.
Hi thank u so much will definitely make it is been look for a simple one but I have this one thanks u
You’re welcome 😊 Happy crocheting!
Does this work with size 6 English needles?
I’m not sure. I’m not familiar with the sizes of needles other than what’s printed on them. Sorry 😢
@@SparklyOne that’s ok the tutorial is helpful either way thank you 😊
