    Thank you. I found your recently and am knitting another pattern of yours for fingerless gloves. This pattern will be my next one - I did not think that I would be able to find how to knit for the thumb on 2 flat needles and this is great. Much appreciated. Your grandson in the background made me smile!

    You two are an inspiration to me. I am a self-taught knitter and crocheter. I started about 15 years ago and have slowly grown to an average skill level. Your videos have helped me immensely and I have learned a lot from you. I love that you are a mother daughter team and you are so much fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your time, skills and family. You are a blessing to us all.

She loves them and wears them to work every day. I love to hear the baby "talk" in the background!!! again Thank you !!!

    You knit like my mother, with the yarn over your index finger. This is such a clever technique I still have to master. It makes knitting much faster and the tension more equal between every stitch. My mother is 81 and she is a living knitting machine 😂 she knits a cardigan a week and sells them at church for charity. I love these fingerless gloves and I will attempt to make them. 🙏🏻 thank you.

    Hi. I love these little gloves and have made several pairs. I had pretty much memorized the pattern. I haven’t knitted these gloves since last though, and found one glove that I had started and then put away and forgot how to knit it 😂 so I just looked at the instructions in the description rather than watching the video.
    Just a quick heads up....
    I had to redo a couple of rows because of the following :
    I’m paraphrasing what you wrote but it basically says after the thumb gusset has 15 stitches to then knit 17 on the right side then take off the 15 stitches and knit another 17.... it doesn’t distinguish that it needs to be the k1p1 ( rice stitch) then take off the 15 stitches and k1p1 to the end. Just a heads up in case anyone else knits from the instructions. Honestly I love watching your videos though and hearing you talk thru it better anyway.... 🥰. Thank you for all the patterns. You’ve really helped me knit some beautiful things for myself and gifts for others. I truly appreciate you both for the time and effort making the videos!! 🙏

    Following your pattern and tutorial as a first pattern in many years. This first thing I found was that in the k1,p1 ribbing you need to invert it every other row, or p1,k1.

    • @JoannesWeb
      @JoannesWeb  8 лет назад +1

      No, you do the same on each right side row. k1, p1, end with k1.
