    This is exactly what I am looking for! Thank you Joanna. I am a beginner, so would like some guidance on how to measure the size of my arms to determine how many stitches to knit?

    On your RUclips channel, you have the fingerless gloves pebble pattern, and you cast on 44 stitches, I want to make my partner a pair and 50 stitches can fit around her wrist, how can I make that pattern work and also upsize the stitches to fit her wrists?

      You can add a repetition..,Or, use a larger needle. That would be easier.

      @@JoannesWeb what’s the repetition?

    I did cast on 44 stitches but I think you put on 43 since I can’t make my project match yours, I always end up with three stitches left instead of two, my purl ends up being the fourth last

      It would be good to measure his hand. Or use thicker and larger needles.

      So I know which side is when I don't slip the purls. This way I know it's row #1 and #3.

    Hi, greetings from Perth. I love all the projects you have shown on your tutorials. However I have a question for the Fingerless Gloves (Pebbles). Row 4 on your instruction manual shows K1, *wyif slip1p, purl*, but your video says K1, *wyif slip1p, knit*? This is same as Row 2. Please can you confirm which is correct? Thank you for your time.

    • @JoannesWeb

      Purlwise

    • @nancysici1286
      @nancysici1286 2 года назад

      Valerie Lee - you’re right - pattern says purl but she’s knitting in row 4. Joanne - you should correct the written pattern for the cast on count and the row 4 correction. Thanks

    Why do your tutorials all start in the middle? It's extremely frustrating that it doesn't go linearly from start to finish...

    She did not explain that she sewed top down first. Assumed knitter knew a lot from scarf which they may not have done
