Who's seeing this now and a lil sad
Me... but unfortunately, this train was heading to this destination for a long time. Cautionary tale to anyone in fashion. Don't get comfortable, cause it can all be over one day.
I never knew he had a downfall. I always heard of him and admire him for being so young and so talented. But he is a great human being inside. His thinking is so mature and so diversified.
I like documentaries like these. 😊
I'm curious about the story of the man and how his reputation was damaged, I had no idea. I'm also very interested in how his story was affected by the eternal 'battle between art and commerce.' Should be good.
I already know I'm going to like this. The September Issue and First Monday In May were great.

i read somewhere that he got too cocky about his early success when he was really young and hasn't proven himself yet so people started to find him obnoxious, and then he was bold enough to try showing couture in Paris. The critics laughed at his attempt and he was somewhat disgraced. Yes his "fall" was a bit of an over dramatization. He didn't have a crippling drug addiction nor any public scandals but it's a classic case of how the fashion industry eats you up and throws you out.

SO excited for this documentary! I had the pleasure of talking with Zac last fall for his Delta runway reveal (which I vlogged on my channel) and he was so so lovely! I can't wait to learn more about his journey. x

Fashion is like a Reality Show, and the clothing becomes the product. It's not much about Talent at all. There's always a young Bad Boy of fashion - but once you're not Young and you're a Success, they drop you and look for another Young Bad Boy. Gaultier, Mizrahi, even the wonderful Alexander McQueen.
I've been waiting to watch this since it was released at the film festival!
This looks real good. I always wondered how he began and what really led to.his downfall. Should be worth watching. Always loved his layers designs which stand him out. Can't wait🙌
I didn't know he had a "downfall" It felt like I always heard his name on the red carpet. But red carpet doesn't translate to money
KatyDelMar There was a time that we didn't see much of his collection and a designer with such stature when seems to be vanishing from major red carpet events it kinds translates into that. But I guess we both adore his designs equally so let's wish him well and wait for this to be released. Good day 😊
