I am so glad we had this runway show for the dresses. I watched the behind the scenes but this show is justice to the workmanship of the creators. Thank you, Zach Posen.
This show has been very special. The costumes and set design are absolutely spectacular. Naomi, Diane, Chloe, Calista, and Tom have absolutely inhabited those roles. Costumes have a lot to do with it.
I'm always happy to see Jessica Lange in anything. People need to see her in Blue Sky, for which she won an Oscar against all odds in 1995. The film had been sitting unreleased for years bc the director died of AIDS and somehow it got aired and Jessica won her Leading Actress Oscar for it! It's a wild story and a great film and Jessica is amazing g in it and super seductive; her character is partly based on Marilyn Monroe and other forgotten and abused actresses of the 50's, when the film is set.
Omg this episode was done in black-and-white and does not do the gowns. Any justice. Bravo, Zach Posen the gowns are absolutely exquisite. My favourite was the gown done for Lee Roswell just perfection.
This is an incredible promo. I love that all these actresses agreed to do this. I wonder whether this was originally films with the intent of making a screen test for these fashions, and was co-opted into a promo. If so, that's a really clever way of promoting the series. The fashions are sensational and these women are owning the moment.
Zac Posen take a bow, I'm applauding you and missing your presence at NY fashion week. This was a glamorous reminder of your unforgettable finesse with making a woman stand out amongst the crowd.
The high fashion of the 60s was extreme, no doubt about it. It's good to see that Mr Posen did not shy away from, or try to water down, the era's excesses to suit modern tastes. I love how Mr Posen's designs for the dresses reference actual fashion of the era. For example, Slim Keith's jumpsuit I recognise - I made myself a pair of satin evening culottes in this design in 1969. They were exactly this style.
Zach... Thank you for this beautiful collection... You are a visionary for women's fashion. Each dress was a masterpiece of design. Flawless, exquisite, breath taking, orgasmic, fashion. I want them all. Never stop being you Zach! You are the 👑
What a FABULOUS surprise… a runway show with the beautiful ladies in their gowns! Lee and her opera coat remind me so much of my own amazing mother, now 81 and profoundly disabled by Parkinson’s Disease, who attended many balls and charity galas in the 70s with my father… she was tall like Babe Paley and dressed like Lee - always quietly and sublimely elegant. I recall often playing in the yard when the car would come up the drive to collect them; I would stop to watch them emerge from the house, my father holding her gloved hand as I would give her a kiss goodbye. My mind can still conjure vivid memories of the flashes of fire from her diamond chandelier or asscher-cut drop earrings, bequeathed to her by my grandmother, and the luxuriously lingering fragrance of her Shalimar parfum… seeing these amazing women and gowns triggered those flashbacks to cherished early years in my life. THANK YOU for that 🥹❤
Lillie Mae Faulk named herself "Nina" when she first tried to enter New York high society. Had she succeeded everyone would have been calling her Nina.
🫵👍🫡👏🪞🪄🎩 I love your fashion and I love the way you told your story about your fashion oh my goodness it was like in a dream like I was there a beautiful how you told your story love it
So, Black Swan, momma, Odile the Sorcerer's daughter. White Swan, Odette, Babe, the one the Prince pledged eternal love for but betrayed with (for) Odile.
The costumes are incredible in this video, but I was very disappointed in the episode filmed in awful black and white format. It was a monotone cloudy gray, and I would have loved to have seen all of the costumes, including the ballroom in it's opulence color.
I would love to have said that I loved the fashion except for the fact that I couldn’t see it because you freaking guys keep flashing your audience. We know what you’re doing it. Just stop it already.
Too much Zach here. His youth speaks to these designs. This job should be have been done by Badgley Mishka. Someone who takes takes into account history not bling. A nice try, but falls short by personal intentions rather than historical facts. 😮
Yes.. I did. I am a badged LAFW designer & I can think of a few, of my colleagues who could have taken a more historical, factual approach to this collection, rather than he. Perhaps your conflict comes with those designers more qualified & not he? When doing period costumes the first & foremost agenda with design production, is to get as close as possible to the original. Substitutions or personal preferences are not factual to the original design. That is not historical it's fiction based on his personal bias & yours. All designers with major global brands know this. Every journalist in the country knows this, and so do industry professionals. So do many designers Reviews are in. . There is no justice as far as design goes in this collection. It's fiction & so are your comments. Do all of us, designers, a favor? Stick with what you know, not what u don't.

What behind the scenes? I am loving this show!🥰

Jessica and Diane ate this UP

Supreme Ms Jessica Lange!!!!! ❤
GOOSEBUMPS. Remarkable design, and the models are just A VISION. Take a bow, Mr. Posen.
The iconic Swan actresses, dressed and groomed in their unique gown, are a feast for the senses. 😍😍😍👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
I smell a big fat Emmy Award for Best Costumes.

Jessica Lange devoured this! She is still the supreme after all.

4:09 Jessica Lange does not age oh my god. I love that woman. Forever one of my favorite actresses. She looks gorgeous.

Genius at work. Breathtaking brilliance.
Beautiful Zac and ladies! It was wonderful to see these great actresses!

I want them all. Never stop being you Zach! You are the 👑
No idea Zac was this adorable. He belongs on camera.
this is everything
Thank you Zac... you are the ONE!
This had to be the most fun. They are all fabulous!
Gorgeous! Each very different. My compliments to Mr. Posen!
Each one is a pure vision of loveliness...❤
A tour de force from creation to presentation🎉
Zack, you’re just brilliant. Remarkable design and execution.

Looks nothing like cc !!!
I wish these dresses were part of Zac Posen's collection because I'd buy them for myself.
Fabulous! Marvelous! Scrumptious!
Stunning all Zac!
Magnifique! Hats off for a job well done Zac.. Nobody does it better….
The outfits were absolutely wonderful!
Superb!!!!
Simply breathtaking! ❤
Jessica Lange looks fantastic
This was a fabulous “extra” feature! Loved it. We didnt get to see 1/10th of the detail of these dresses in the series.
wow, marvelous!
How fun!!! Loved every minute of it
The show of the decade.
Absolute perfection!
I’m a little confused: why is Jessica Lange referred to as the actress, Nina Foch when she plays Truman’s mother, Lillie Mae?
Lillie Mae Faulk named herself "Nina" when she first tried to enter New York high society. Had she succeeded everyone would have been calling her Nina.
That was great, thanks!
I loved sizi and nina absolutely stunning.
PERFECTION.....
Bravo!!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Stunning!! I'm thinking ahead to Halloween🧐
MESMERISING.
They are all stunning dresses.
Love Love Love!
This is Faboulous!!!!!!! ❤
He better get a nomination for Wardrobe
Jessica Lange plays Lillie Faulk, Truman's mother....not Nina Foch, a fabulous actress of Old Hollywood and beyond.
FAAAAAABULOUS!
Amazing
Mr Posen, or should I say OMG!!!
There all amazing, one as good as the other but the all black 🖤 stole the show cause of the dress and the scene it was in, Thank you for sharing.
👏👏👏bravo
Jessica Lange my hero ❤
JESSICA ATE
This is excellent BTS content ❤

The swans = real housevives; truman = Andy Cohen

Shame we couldn’t have had quick shots of the ball in color to appreciate all the shades.
Why was Radziwell not in black & white? Rules don't apply to a "princess".😂
❤
Which is your favorite!?😊
and the category is : ladies of AARP
Jessica is doing Joan part deux.
absolutely wonderful, exquisite costumes worn by beautiful mature actors, the 2024 orange-y tone of the spray tanned skin is a bit distracting however
I could've seen Elizabeth Taylor in number three.
Why is the show relevent?
They all look stuffed and ridiculous.
The people who are artisans must be horrified to know these people are absurd.
Cute
i wish chloe let go of the skirt at some point or did i just not notice?
I'm surprised he doesn't know how to pronounce Radziwill.
There’s a sneak… and her name is jessica
There’s a lot more talented designers but Zac is a Jewish darling so he’s given the opportunity
they men
Miss Razwell didn’t get the assignment right apparently. The Ball theme was BLACK and WHITE. Beauty fades, dumb is forever
I love Zac Posen. But why does he call Nina Capote "Nina Foch"? What an odd mistake.
Faulk, it’s her maiden name
Yes- “capote” was the last name of her second husband.
wasn’t her name lili mae?@@johnny-vu6rl
it’s actually faulk. the subs were wrong
I would love to have said that I loved the fashion except for the fact that I couldn’t see it because you freaking guys keep flashing your audience. We know what you’re doing it. Just stop it already.
But the real-life Swans did not dress like this. Why recreate history ?
It's for the black and white ball
Where did Zac Posen pick up this strange dialect? I've heard a lot of New York accents. This isn't one of them. So contrived. And strange.
Joan crawford recomeback.
IDK..nice but I can't watch a show whose makers crossed a picket line.
so gay
Not gay enough

Absolutely.
I disagree no one could have done it better than Zach. I lived that era dear did you?

all bow before Queen Jessica
👏👏👏🫵 I can't say no more it was just fantastic just to look at your fashion and hear how you told the story I just had to say one
the look... looks like a joke. bedsheet outfits. draping = the designer is too lazy to make structured patterns
Jessica. 🖤🤍🖤
