FX’s FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans tells the story of acclaimed writer Truman Capote, once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” However, his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction from which he would ultimately never recover.

Age is looking VERY good on Zac Posen 🔥 Also, I could have watched an entire documentary on his experience creating these costumes, from the research & sourcing to the actresses seeing & trying them on for the 1st time!

Love this, I felt like I was in a fabric candy store watching Zac walk through. I miss F/S fabrics in Los Angeles, California where I used to get everything I needed. Now closed except for the household store. I have a sense that Zac Posen could win a major award/s for his designs.

The ball was not diverse. It was all rich people.

Diverse in the aspect of what were they famous for, like the list included from Frank Sinatra to Jackie Kenney’s sister, that’s as diverse as it got in that time. Oh wait, Sammy Davis Jr was invited too so that’s diversity! :sighs:

So he’s a great designer but can’t hold a door open for his assistant coming into a store behind him? Wow rude

The assistant should be so fortunate to be given anything beyond orders by the legendary Zac Posen.

I don't understand why contemporary media keep furthering this narrative that Capote's swans were 'the most elegant/sophisticated/iconic/etc. ladies of all time' when this show (and anyone with a brain) argues that they were monied and knew how to spend their fortune on stylish things, indeed, but held no other remarkable qualities. At least Bette and Joan were interesting women and human beings. This season is only interesting to eldergays and fashion majors ergo the last people to care about this dated tale of past glamour and a bygone society that feels so irrelevant and detached from everything going in the present day.

I’m not an elder gay hoe. I’m in my early 20s. I eat this up. Give me the drama and the glam.

“ why tell the truth, when you can tell a story.” Truman Capote would leave with exactly with those words!
