The Swans tells the story of acclaimed writer Truman Capote, once a confidante to society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” However, his act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banished him from high society and sent him into a spiral of self-destruction from which he would ultimately never recover.

There is 0 debate that this will win Zac Posen a Golden Globe and Emmy.
He only did costume design for the gowns in this particular episode the black and white ball... Lou Eyrich worked and designed for the whole season in fact she is the one getting nominated

Zac’s designs are gorgeous, but I always think about the seamstress that bring to life the designers’ designs. They are artists too.

Wow.
Was I only one that did not like the first 2 episodes? The lighting was dark, the actor who plays Truman was unwatchable, Treat Williams looked nothing like Bill Paley. The dialogue was horrible. It was not nearly posh enough. No long shots or expansive shots of their homes or NY. A sauna scene with Truman and the guy he picked up was not worth watching. My friend also felt the same about this series. The previous Feud series was much better! Shot well, better dialogue and acting!
