@@Rastaanparta I used these: www.ebay.com/itm/363765565415 They're a tight fit, I suggest you have a small tabletop heater or hair dryer handy like I did while sleeving to soften the plastic with heat, it'll help.

If you are still looking, I use Swan sleeves 40x40. They are a bit too large, but they do the trick to protect the monster tiles from being worn out inside the bag.
I have everything for this game, plus the fan expansions professionally printed. AH 2ed was the first board game that got me into solo gaming and will forever be in my collection. I will be buried with it too.
Welcome to club:-) . Next stop Mansions of Madness 2edition. In AH 2 I am missing only Miscatonic expansion and still didn’t play further than Dunwitch and two small expansions. After 10 or more years having the game.! What I want to say is that you can play only basic game for very long time.
Thanks! Yeah if I do get an expansion it'll be just Dunwich. I tried Journeys in Middle Earth (which is based on MoM) and I wasn't a fan, so I'm not sure I'll try MoM, but you never know!
Nah. Played one campaign of Journeys and forgot about it. MOM 2 played countless scenarios . Puzzles can be overkill though. But completely different game.
17:20 since you mentioned it, I actually recommend looking for incomplete expansions for this game. You can sometimes find them for a fraction of the price and almost everything in every expansion is really modular, so you can use just about anything you get.
@@kevinfitzgerald9319 I missed a $50 Dunwhich sale that was only missing a couple of cards 😞 I wanted to make sure I liked the game but by the time I made up my mind someone beat me to it lol
I've played 200+ games and all of them were completely different. It's great game and #1 in my personal collection (100+ titles). Suggest to play another 10-15 times and then try to find Lurker at the threshold expansion - it will give new life to the game with new Herald and new gates.
I didn't know 4 players was the "ideal count". When I play solo I usually play with 3 characters. Although it might be better with 4 when using one of the expansion boards.
I have everything beside the homebrew expansions. I‘ve payed a fortune to get the last expansions I was missing (I‘vre payed 300,- EUR for Miscantonic). But it was totally worth it.
@@Azure_Death In a kind of big box. Would be cool for other Arkham fans out there. Do you know the wooden (lasercut) crate from thegiftforge for the 2nd edition? I got it and it is amazing.
I just started playing this game too and like your video of it. I was wondering if you post that sheet you made with the location on it up anywhere?? I also have been playing it with the board turn sideways.

Welcome to the madness. This is one of the most replayable games ever made. Yes, that flowchart helps a ton! Now the expansions will haunt your dreams, trust me. :) Great review! I was very disappointed playing Eldritch Horror after playing this. This feels like an RPG in board game form. EH feels very board gamey and just not as immersive. AH3 is good though but like you said, scenario based, it takes a huge amount of time to set up and it's not as replayable.
Chuckle. Where the heck did you find monster sleeves? In the US, I can only find ones which are way too big. Nice overview. Our experiences line up nearly exactly, except I’ve gotten Eldritch to generate some fantastic stories (if you get some of the expansions. Core box is a bit bland.) I really wish these games were still in print. The used market is just brutal for Arkham Horror out of print anything. ($5/card for the LCG! I don’t play MtG because reasons! Don’t drag that crazy into everything! /rant)
Thanks! I wish the games were in print too 🙂I found the right size sleeves on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/363765565415 They were a pain to sleeve though, it's a tight fit. I had a little tabletop heater next to me to soften the plastic before sleeving, helped a lot.

Which sleeves did you use for the monster tokens?
