I dislike the vast majority of Jay zs music and I still put him in my top 20 for influence alone, same with Nas who doesn't have a single track I like but hey he made a definitive rap record so he deserves a top 20 spot.

He has a gimmick which is his unique, lazy kind of flow but he’s a novelty more than anything.

why the complete brush over on pac? that’s my #1 does he even crack your top 10? a unreal discography for only 5 years in the rap game 2 of those behind bars… changed and evolved the game not to mention deep lyrics and solid flow. lot of his music evolved the beats in rap gave it a lot more modern sound

Two positives here:
Props to having Nas up in the top 2. Personally, I think he’s the goat, but most people just have him in the top 5.
