Right now Simulation Theory is my third favorite Muse album. They leaned heavy into electronic and synth instead going in and out like Second Law and killed it.
I actually really enjoyed Professional Rapper and I think he did that song in a cool unique way. He introduced himself to the world while doing an interview with Snoop all while showing his technical capabilities. Solid song.

I was actually pretty surprised by that being included; I was going through some serious grieving from 2011-2014 so it really meant alot to me and I agree thought it was genuinely great minus a track or two. Certainly a thousand times better than anything she put out previously or since that was backed and released by her record label. Not to mention, her dead petz or rather the back up band was actually the Flaming Lips which was awesome n pretty rad. And most badass, she produced, put together and paid for the release and tour herself because her label was so appalled by it and refused to back any part of it. So that really made me respect her more, and was the first and really only brief period of her career that i respected, enjoyed, or viewed her as a real artist and not juet a ex-Disney pop star acting out. So.... Boo! :( Bad take. Lol. To each their own.

Hello from the future I recently listened to Dead Petz and it’s genuinely one of the best pop albums I’ve ever heard. I still don’t really understand why it’s so hated
I feel personally attacked with the thoughts on Muse. Although Simulation Theory isn’t their best album it’s still pretty solid and has some really strong songs. Especially Blockades. I kinda agree with Drones but you’ve gotta give some credit that there are some killer riffs on that album. The 2nd Law would have to be my least favorite of theirs but it’s still got its strong songs like supremacy and survival. Don’t think Muse deserves to be mentioned here

T0k4m4K I wouldn’t say I find them too repetitive, though there are some songs I didn’t enjoy enough to keep coming back to I find myself coming back to Blockades, Algorithm, Pressure, The Void, Break it to Me and The Dark Side. I personally enjoyed the experimentation and different sounds we got on this album since I’m a big fan of both hard rock and electronic music. It may be one of their weaker albums but I still think it doesn’t deserve the hate it’s gotten
The Click may not be a perfect album, but I like it for what it is. It's got some good songs like Come Hang Out and Three Thirty that are pretty ironic considering everyone's hatred for their "Generic pop sound" Those two songs are very self-aware in that they criticize and expose that way of thinking in a way that you don't see very often. Neotheater was honestly way better though. Next up Forever, Finale, and Karma are honestly incredible.

Right now Simulation Theory is my third favorite Muse album. They leaned heavy into electronic and synth instead going in and out like Second Law and killed it.
Waiting on the album that Anthony, after staring into the void, reviewed with 3 words: "This album sucks" - 30 Seconds to Mars "America"

I actually really enjoyed Professional Rapper and I think he did that song in a cool unique way. He introduced himself to the world while doing an interview with Snoop all while showing his technical capabilities. Solid song.

“Mercy” off drones is not sucky and although “psycho” is a little trite i would not label it as sucky either. Also 17 is not that bad of an album it has like three good songs and I really appreciate the genre switch he did.

Miley and her dead petz is actually a great album about grief and death and pain. I’m not being ironic that album means a lot to me and it’s worth a listen.

I was actually pretty surprised by that being included; I was going through some serious grieving from 2011-2014 so it really meant alot to me and I agree thought it was genuinely great minus a track or two. Certainly a thousand times better than anything she put out previously or since that was backed and released by her record label.
Not to mention, her dead petz or rather the back up band was actually the Flaming Lips which was awesome n pretty rad. And most badass, she produced, put together and paid for the release and tour herself because her label was so appalled by it and refused to back any part of it. So that really made me respect her more, and was the first and really only brief period of her career that i respected, enjoyed, or viewed her as a real artist and not juet a ex-Disney pop star acting out.
So.... Boo! :( Bad take. Lol. To each their own.

I feel personally attacked with the thoughts on Muse. Although Simulation Theory isn’t their best album it’s still pretty solid and has some really strong songs. Especially Blockades. I kinda agree with Drones but you’ve gotta give some credit that there are some killer riffs on that album. The 2nd Law would have to be my least favorite of theirs but it’s still got its strong songs like supremacy and survival. Don’t think Muse deserves to be mentioned here
Don't you find the songs on ST like a whole lot repetitive? i mean i used to destroy my showbiz cd with all the times i've played it and when it came out i just got tired of it at the second listen
T0k4m4K I wouldn’t say I find them too repetitive, though there are some songs I didn’t enjoy enough to keep coming back to I find myself coming back to Blockades, Algorithm, Pressure, The Void, Break it to Me and The Dark Side. I personally enjoyed the experimentation and different sounds we got on this album since I’m a big fan of both hard rock and electronic music. It may be one of their weaker albums but I still think it doesn’t deserve the hate it’s gotten
ST wasn't my favorite album of theirs, but I like Drones a lot. It's got a vibe and message that's very unique to them.
The Click may not be a perfect album, but I like it for what it is. It's got some good songs like Come Hang Out and Three Thirty that are pretty ironic considering everyone's hatred for their "Generic pop sound" Those two songs are very self-aware in that they criticize and expose that way of thinking in a way that you don't see very often. Neotheater was honestly way better though. Next up Forever, Finale, and Karma are honestly incredible.

Could not agree more on the Eminem take. Dude raps like a robot now, He ain't got that flow that he used to have which made him so good. Listen to anything he has put out over the past few years, Then listen to "Amityville" or "Role Model" I can't understand why he uses this new flow, Like i guess lyrically it allows him to use more wordplay but he was just as clever and much more enjoyable in the early 00's.
