'Harry's House is worst album of the year because it's overhyped" has got to be the most Fantano fan statement I've ever heard.
nah it’s just too generic too but that’s true
Advert music
It wasn't very enjoyable in my opinion other than a few tracks, my friend really likes his music but didn't really like Harry's House
The raw anti-intellecualism of that comment lmao
Definitely not the worst or even close but I get where they are coming from. I thought it got too much praise but that's not really a reason to shit can an album.
DJ Khalid's discography is the Fast and Furious franchise of music.
He's"bin chilling"
This is so accurate. We are over saturated with low value Khaled
i thought of saying something like "DJ Khaled is the Dwayne Johnson of music" but this goes pretty well too
So it was boring and humourless for the first 4 albums then suddenly got a sense of humour and became fun? Can’t say I agree personally
@@geese5061 lol. Fair. Have we gotten to 4 Khalid albums yet?
I love how Tom Macdonald is so bad that we’ve all collectively agreed that his album was one of the worst of the year without even listening to it.
It's hilarious and sad when I see him come up on any social media and the comments are just filled with people saying how he speaks the truth and how they hate rap music except for him, and Eminem before he went "woke" like just say you hate black people bro, no need for all this lol
@@zacharywoodford8530people are responsible for what they say not what you hear. If someone says they don’t hate black people, and you say they hate black people it’s baseless. Tom McDonald is kinda cringe no doubt about that but your statement is illogical in regard to the hating black people part
I genuinely liked it. I’m not the biggest fan of the political stuff but songs like soldier and revenge are actually tolerable to me.
@@Ryan.Schutt nono tom is racist thats a fact, listen to any of his songs hes pretty open about his ideas that being white sucks and people should respect him for being openly white and straight, plus adam the other part of that album says the n word a lot so yeah
@@Ryan.Schutt You know what a dog whistle is right?
Fantano likes Music For A Sushi Restaurant and Todd in the Shadows hates it. I love when music criticism has that wide a scope.
the two wolves in my soul are warring
Shadow Man is a strong nine RUclipsr and podcaster. I've been reliably informed Melon Man is merely a light one
The duality of man
I love Todd, Anthony on the other hand, I tolerate, but not necessarily respect
@@Destrum_ Why you don't tolerate Anthony Daniel?
Never thought I’d hear “Island Boys” and “not the worst” together, especially not from Anthony.
this reads like a fake comment which is the best part lmao
I didn’t even know they released an album 🤣🤣🤣
Head is unironically amazing, it’s so bad that it’s a work of art
As a Brad Taste In Music fan seeing Island Boys brought up made me ecstatic
@@BlackWidowMac 😂😂😂
If I didn't already think DJ Khaled was annoying, he recently rented out my highschools gym during school hours in order to shoot an ad for his new shoes. So they shut down a whole section of the school for this man to just shoot hoops in the gym for hours and made everyone late to class and we somehow had to prove that it's DJ Khaleds fault that we were late to class
I mean that kind of sounds like your school is run by assholes though.
@@boheyo Its a school in Miami, so yes, a majority of them are assholes
Lmao😂😂
"What made you late for class"

Playing "tank" at the beggining to symbolize all the albums that tanked this year was sneaky clever
I have always been a Panic! Fan. Defending every album up to this point. However dropping the needle on Viva Las Vengeance was my biggest disappointment of the year. Not a single song hooked me in a good way, and I actually cringed several times, especially at the song that kind of encouraged domestic violence, and the one that was like “yeah! here’s an anthem for all you outcasts”. For the first time I actually felt like “Oh wow he is latterly trying to rip off Queen” I will say I saw them perform the album top to bottom live and it was a good show, it did seem cohesive and entertaining. After repeated listens of the album though, I’m afraid it just ain’t it… hopefully whatever comes next isn’t as disappointing
Lol do you need to see a therapist? Why on earth would you listen to anything by Panic after their second album?
Tbf this album was better than pftw and twtltrtd by miles at least
@@KnivingDispodiatherapist?? Vices and Virtues is a great pop album though
dawg how in the fuсk did you even like Pray for the Wicked, _that_ one’s a country mile worse than Viva las Vengeance
@@leonsalgeuro vices and virtues and doab and afycso were all good albums from them aswell imo
Real story- when Jack Harlow's album dropped. I was mildly interested. I started listening to it and I fell asleep.
I saw Jack live in late 2019 and he was so good in concert and was a really nice kid…then his new album…nah. In his own words, “Your new shit is not it”
@@radiofreejenn0 me and friends played Industry baby to death. It was an awesome track. I liked his what's poppin. But new stuff is legit sleep inducing. Terrible stuff.
@@Vikdeb25502 that's because it's a Lil Nas X song
same thing happened to me with Honestly, Nevermind. Then again I was listening to it in bed at like 4:30 in the morning. I actually don’t _hate_ it as much as some people do now
kind of the same situation. I was kinda interested. I didn't fell asleep but I sure was yawning as shit
The fit, mustache, and glasses had me feeling like I was listening to Ned Flanders swear about music he's too old to be listening to.
How can someone be too old to listen to any kind of music? XD
I think the “ no such thing as bad music” guy was coming from a place where he thought he was defending music but making everyone like everything is a terrible thing to do to people
Objectively? Sure I guess there's no such thing as bad music. But I know damn well that guy is only saying that cause Drake is featured on the worst of list.
“Making everyone like everything is a terrible thing to do to people.” Christ yes. So tired of that kind of mindset.
I think all music is valuable or worthy to be made because someone somewhere put their passion and love into it but that doesn't mean all music is good. For example, the song "The Most Unwanted Song" by Komar, Melamid and Dave Soldier is a horrific ~22-minute long slog deliberately made to be terrible but it was designed as an art statement that they were passionate about making, you can't say it's not valuable as art even if it is bad. A song I despise is Taylor Swift's cover of September but I still consider it valuable as a form of art, still won't listen to it ever again and I will destroy any speaker where its terribleness emanates from.
I'm loving the idea of DJ Khaled's album making him the Michael Bay of the music industry.
Bay at least has some bangers under his belt, and they are uniquely his own (The Rock, Bad Boys). Khaled just buys songs from other artists and puts his name on the package.
It's pretty interesting how you said "I agree" with every album you put in your top 50 best albums list, I appreciate the open-mindedness!
Honestly if your still listening to a DJ Khaled record what are you doing with your life
They ain't believe in us

“Do you think they’ve ever explored each others bodies” with tom MacDonald and Adam Calhoun in the background is possibly the new best joke fantano has made
i didnt know Anthony can play some songs from Sonic Adventure 2 on bass, good work!!
Pumpkin Hill was a BOP
Very interesting to witness Fantano's hatred of Nav's music devolve into a thirsting for the man himself.
it's heartbreaking to see so many big names of the 2000s become what they are now.
In a way I blame TikTok. A lot of songs now just focus on that one hook moment, a lot of songs don't even have a bridge anymore. It's all very straightforward and easy to understand, which alone isn't bad, but when you lose variation and lyrical creativity beyond doing slightly more than what the average person could do, that's where you fall.
He was playing that "Tank!" baseline at the beginning. I cannot unhear it.

Fantano looks like Cal Chuchesta.
Kinda disappointed he didn’t revisit his “football player” song from the MGK review
I’m surprised people in the comments are praising Anthony on that whistle note when laughing. Truly incredible
10:42 *Wait... the Black Eyed Peas still exist?*
I legit thought they were over a long time ago.
The more you know...🌠🤷♂
You're gonna wish they didn't if you decide to listen to the album
@@randomusername1735 No doubt.
After I posted I watched their performance of "Vida Loca" at the VMAs 2020...it is the worse they have ever been.
It feels like they died somewhere around 2011, and now they are in zombie mode. Fergie is nowhere to be seen, and each new release seems lazier than the last.
I, very optimistically and/or naively, had been waiting for a "we made money, so now we're back to just the 3 of us in normal clothes & will make music again.", but it's just not happening, is it.
They had some minor radio traction on some song with Shakira, that's kind of all I've heard of it.
I love Fantano patronizing the dude about what the literal definition of "worst album" is

I mainly just stuck to whatever albums creators I listened to normally made this year, and I gotta say while I did still like a good portion of the album, Elsewhere by Set It Off just wasn't doing it for me. I still need to go back and listen to some previous albums, but I definitely liked Midnight and Cinematics a lot. But here, it just wasn't doing it for me, and had a lot of songs that just either sounded really bad, or were just flat out annoying. Overall there still were definitely some very good songs on it despite its screw ups.

Melon’s rendition of “emo girl” has convinced me that Machine Gun Kelly did in fact have the worst album of the year.
Your biggest crime this year was not reviewing Ab-Soul Herbert. It's been 2 weeks now.
Muse’s last records weren’t great but they at least had few songs to deliver and some effort in the concept. But The Will of The People is just horrendous in every of its moment. As bad as Origins by Imagine Dragons & FOAMF by Green Day. Even worse than Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres!

Anthony, do a reaction to the Black Eyed Peas album, it is so bad it’s fucking astounding, Brad Taste in Music covered it and it featured lyrics so dumb it made me wonder if the album was some kind of MK ULTRA CIA mind experiment where they try to stupify you by bombarding you with the dumbest and simplest bars ever written mixed with Will.I.Am’s worst production choices he’s ever made, which I understand is a bold claim, but it’s the truth. You gotta hear this shit to believe how bad it is.
He should do this for best albums of 2022.

There definitely is such a thing as bad takes and you just made one!
Did anyone do the new 3 Days Grace? Honestly, I've never been huge into them, but growing up in Ontario, I have a soft spot for their early work as their music was there for my teenage years. Even when they changed singers I still had some hope but I didn't like a single song off the new album.
Also, I don't think the new Panic! At the Disco is the worst thing I ever heard but I do think it is their worst album by quite a bit.
9:31 I'm definitely sampling that dolphin laugh.

Was that a slight at Toddintheshadows's take on Music for A Sushi Restaurant melon?
Thought you were about to play Mjnor Threat with the bass intro.
did fantano really just play tank from cowboy bebop for an intro?
Muse has had quite the fall from grace.
Hearing the shitty synths and terrible lyrics in the latest album was very disappointing. It's literally unlistenable for me.
If you played their albums in reverse order it'd seem like a band that really matured and refined their sound.
I gotta say that Won't Stand Down is the hugest banger I heard from these guys since Hysteria
First two albums were dope, rapidly descended into trash. so wierd, and a shame.
Used to be a big fan but now I just look back and cringe
Only track I listened to from GOD DID was the Juice one, so you really hit the melon on the head there
Loved to hear Tank! from Cowboy Bebop in the intro
Well Melon, ya know if you go into that Black Eyed Peas record expecting shite, expecting nothing good and/or of substance then you won't be let down or disappointed. 👍
i don’t think anthony could sing the will of the people line enough. it may never leave his system
Was that Cowboy Bepop at the beginning?

I heard people say that Post Malone's album was bad. He did a song with Fleet Foxes (one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time) and it's so weird, I am in love with it
Fantano would’ve given the island boys album a 7 if he reviewed it
Someone needs to make a rival band to the black eyed peas called 'the collard greens'
Thank you famtano for playing the sonic theme in the inteo
love mainstream sellout to bits, music is always going to be individual preference, so I've no quarrels to it's criticisms, and to me I don't care if production is lazy, my ears love the album, and I enjoy listening to it :)
Fantano having a Pizza Hut sponsored mustache is a game changer for advertisers
I fully agree with everything you’re saying about Kanye. I’m not going to be able to touch any of his new releases with a ten foot pole unless he gets some serious help and figures his stuff out. I can separate his current self from his older stuff because that will be great forever, but we can’t continue to support someone who Jimmy Kimmel perfectly described as “a Black white supremicist.”

Ikr. Im black, and my family is as well. But my mom keeps excusing him. Also my family is a bit antisemitic and idk why.
I am growing increasingly weary of the “he needs help” narrative. Do we need to give help to all the neo-nazis? The white supremacists? How about ISIS? They all are crazy, because who in their right mind would do what they do or believe what they believe?
Kanye is fucking crazy, I give you that, but he is revealing who he is. The emperor has no clothes. Unless you are ready to go “he needs help” to all the scum of the world and give them a chance, why give it to him?
