Fuel tank controversy

Had the same issue I chased for 3 months. Did a PM and found plastic in my primary filter. Pulled the return fuel line off and it was clogged with more plastic pieces. Pulled transfer pump and found more plastic. Once I cleared it all out, everything went back to normal.

I suspect this is the issue with my truck the most but I'm selling the truck and don't care to chase the problem anymore

I have the same issue it's at the mechanic shop he doesn't know what to do with it it's 2019 frightliner cascadia with DD13 engine on it it's doesn't have crossover lines and shut off valve

A piece of foil from a fuel additive bottle was in the tank and messing with the fuel flow.

I sold the truck before I could fix it. My only guess would be something floating around in the fuel tanks

Could I cause more damage to the truck if I keep running on one tank
I'm thinking my return from the engine could just keep filling up my right tank.

You never want the truck to suck air. It leans out the engine and it'll run hot.

Yes, the shutoff valves were defective and had to be replaced. One wasn't opening enough and causing a pressure difference.

I've had the valve replaced twice by different shops and still no fix. I think there's something in a line or every mechanic has lied to about blowing out all the lines for me.

I have the same problem but I notice I have no vent line on the empty side

@@platinumttrucking3345 everything has been replaced on mine except those blue overflow vent tubes. I'm going to wind up fixing it myself someday. Till then one tank at a time.
