@josecervantes9708 well mine might have been a little easier because I have a 2018 with a manual transmission I didn't have to pull the seat or anything because I just ran them under the seat then pulled the rubber out of the cup holder closest to the armrest and there's one bolt that loosened the panel under the shifter and ran them right up to the dash it took like 5 min. It's actually super easy.

Took like 5 minutes on the phone and I plugged it back in and it worked perfectly
Literally just finished installing the Heigh10. I give the install video a 4.5/5. It was very thorough, but there were some areas where I had to repeat the section like 10 times to see EXACTLY what you were doing. When you're switching between wiring harnesses and connections, let us know which package it's coming from...the PAC Kit or the Stinger Kit. Also, when you say install with the screws/fasteners, which ones? Even though I watched the video like a hawk, there was some trial and error. All in all, I'm glad you were here for me!
Not really. Assuming you have at least the 8.4", Just use an AmpPro to add aftermarket Amps. I have a 2020 1500 with one installed. Toslink out to a DSP to your amp(s). Dsp handles all the equalization. My truck sounds amazing.
Hey great kit for one! Second, there a problem solving wed site for the head unit? Can't get the rear view camera to work. I have tried just about every thing known to man trying to get it to work. It is a factory rear view camera if that helps at all. Great video
Just got done with this on a 2023 Classic model and can confirm it’s a giant pain to do by yourself. Also I was not sent the mounting screws for the actual head unit 🙃
hi i the only thing before i buy it is to find a wire from the back of ur radio to the tail gate plug in i changed all the tail gate wires and i got a wire broken off right near the spare tire but blue screen in reverse on camera now any ideas
Just did the install on my 2015 Ram 3500 SLT. I believe you missed a connection from the Brain to the PAC Link. Page 13 step 1 on the paper guide shows a 3 pin lead on the 10 pin camera harness that I’m hoping is what shows the vehicle settings screen. Otherwise, mine may be defective… no vehicle settings page.

Query? Does this head unit incorporate all peripheral controls? A/C, Heated Seats, Steering Heater, etc... The only way to control the vents (Feet, Split, Defrost, etc.) on a Big Horn is through the touch screen. You Can control temp and fan speed with bezel controls, but that's it... No knobs or controls on the bezel to switch different fan positions/functions.
Will this kit fit a 2022 DS RAM ? Any complications due to a RAM being converted to right hand drive? Does this provide ,depending on extra cameras mounted on the front,360° view for parking ?
This will work in a 2022 Ram Classic. There should be no issues on a vehicle that has been converted to right hand drive, however it does not have a "birds eye view" or 360 degree viewing option, regardless of how many cameras are connected.
I know an older video…. I have a 2017 Ram Rebel with the 8.4 uconnect. The head unit controls a lot of the comfort/ac settings. Does this also have those controls built in? It looks great and I hate not having apple CarPlay! Thank in advance!!
The new radio screen will display the climate control information on trucks that have the factory automatic climate control systems. It will not display those that have the manual climate controls.
I just installed one in my 2016 Ram and my truck have a factory reversive camera now it don't work , don't have climate control on display and non of my steering wheel function work . nice radio but dang I lost all my factory stuff. I also did the firmware update to determine what problem?
If I’m going to use a wireless CarPlay adapter, couldn’t I skip the media hub part and use a shorter usb cable from wireless adapter to the USB port in back? I already have a usb port I use for CarPlay in my current pioneer head unit. (I replaced the left side power outlet with a usb port) I’d use that as the secondary USB port. No need for hdmi for me in car.
While we do not specifically support any wireless CarPlay or Android Auto adaptors, the shorter you make the connection between it and the CP/AA port on the HEIGH10 brain the better.
Will this work with a 2020 3500. Watching the video the wiring looks the same. What is different is the mounting for the HEIGH10 brain. Some custom brackets may work or there may be more room deeper in the dash.
I have a question, I know nothing about radios, I always had people install them for me. I have a 5 inch display on my 2016 ram 1500, I have lost complete control over the volume control and the radio does not have sound. Will replacing this radio unit and installing the one used in this video fix that problem?
Unfortunately, it is impossible to know for sure if the radio replacement will fix your issues with out further diagnosis. If your backup camera shows on your factory radio screen now, there is nothing you will need to do special to have it show on the new radio. If it goes to your rearview mirror, you would need to hardwire that connection and run the RCA cable from the mirror to the dash where the new radio brain is.
The only models that this package would work on for the 2019+ model years is the Classic body style, and the radio will have no effect on factory cruise control in those.

We do not have an adapter with this kit to connect the mirror camera to the Heigh10. You would have to hardwire that camera in order to view it on the Heigh10.

Absolutely. You can use the universal HEIGH10 (UN1810) and the vehicle specific installation accessories to install one in your 2011 Ram. It should be noted though that the vehicle and climate control information is only available on the 2013-up Rams.

Unfortunately this will not work in a 2012 Ram. You could use the HEIGH10 UN1810 radio with the appropriate vehicle specific installation parts in the vehicle though. Check out a local PAC-Audio retailer and they can get you set up with the needed installation accessories to get the HEIGH10 installed for you
The HEIGH10 has 4 camera inputs, one of which is generally used for backup camera, and defaulted that way in our kit to maintain the factory reverse camera

Sirius XM totally works! You do have to purchase Sirius XM's proprietary tuner kit to use it on the HEIGH10 from your local audio retailer or online retailer. We include an adapter that allows you to keep the slim factory look and usage of the OEM XM antenna!
Just purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman. Is this the same as the "classic" as they look the same. I have the rounded corners for my radio. I want to make sure that I dont have to do any splicing or cutting at all. But I also want to make sure that I understood what I saw. Routing all the wires and harnesses, I shouldnt have to mount a third party camera as this routes it into the brain of the radio correct? I saw that there was a secondary mic that came with the radio. Can you not just use the mics that are present in the truck or do you have to use the secondary mic? Also how well does the mic perform? With everything that was also installed will I still be able to use the stirring wheel buttons to function the call function/VR function? And lastly is this android base? This will fit all 2018 Ram trucks, and the 2019 "Classic." There is no splicing required, and it will retain your factory reverse camera and steering wheel controls. The unit comes with 2 microphones, one built into the face of the unit, and one external, routable microphone. The factory microphones cannot be integrated with. The unit is an android based operating system.

We retain the feature, but the animation is part of the factory radio GUI. We simply have a setting in the setting menu on the HEIGH10

The screen is part of the UN1810/HEIGH10 radio, and the complete radio kit for the Ram that includes the HEIGH10 is the RB10RAM13B

Thanks. I believe u said that it doesn't have backup camera capability.
The HEIGH10 has 4 camera inputs, one of which is generally used for backup camera, and defaulted that way in our kit to maintain the factory reverse camera

Sirius XM totally works! You do have to purchase Sirius XM's proprietary tuner kit to use it on the HEIGH10 from your local audio retailer or online retailer. We include an adapter that allows you to keep the slim factory look and usage of the OEM XM antenna!
Just purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman. Is this the same as the "classic" as they look the same. I have the rounded corners for my radio. I want to make sure that I dont have to do any splicing or cutting at all. But I also want to make sure that I understood what I saw. Routing all the wires and harnesses, I shouldnt have to mount a third party camera as this routes it into the brain of the radio correct? I saw that there was a secondary mic that came with the radio. Can you not just use the mics that are present in the truck or do you have to use the secondary mic? Also how well does the mic perform? With everything that was also installed will I still be able to use the stirring wheel buttons to function the call function/VR function? And lastly is this android base? Thanks in advance for all the help.
This will fit all 2018 Ram trucks, and the 2019 "Classic." There is no splicing required, and it will retain your factory reverse camera and steering wheel controls. The unit comes with 2 microphones, one built into the face of the unit, and one external, routable microphone. The factory microphones cannot be integrated with. The unit is an android based operating system.

I have a 2018 with the center floor mounted console. Can the HDMI/USB hub cables be routed under the console instead of the carpet?
You may have some additional length of cable to contend with and need to find room for, but yes, you can route it that way if you have a console that goes all the way to the dash.
Where can I find that media hub ?
The Hub is part of our RAM kit, at this time we don't sell it as a separate piece.
Will this still work with steering wheel buttons volume and such? If I use the hands free button will it still pick up voice? Does this have CarPlay?
Also is the CarPlay wireless?
Yes, the steering controls will still work, the CarPlay is wired.

that thing is way too expensive. $1200 for the radio $750 for the ram truck installation kit that doesn't even come with the dash adapter. (can't find the price of this on your website). you guys are crazy. plus you don't even put any kind of specs of this device on your site. like what kind of RMS power it has. does it require another adapter for sirius XM?
The installation kit for the RAM includes the required interfaces, as well as the mounting for the radio brain and the screen. What wiring kit do you use?
Should be able to use the factory mic. I don't like the dumb little mic
The HEIGH10 has a microphone that is built into the screen that can be used if you do not want to install the external mic that comes with the radio kit. Unfortunately, the factory microphone is not able to be used with any aftermarket radios.
Seems like a lot of BS just to install a screen. Tearing out seating, carpet, wire here, run wire there…
