David Soul, the star of the famous 70s TV series Starsky and Hutch speaks about his new project.
Him and a team of selected people are going to restore the 1955 Chrysler New Yorker convertible of American author Ernest Hemingway.
Mike Brewer of the British TV series Wheeler Dealers wants to find out more about this project.

Well David and Paul did get back together with Antonio Fargas this year, for a tour around the UK with that famous red Gran Torino It was great to see the guys back together again after all these years..

Seems like a lovely chap, and makes me proud to be British, hehe. The Cuban embargo is preposterous when you consider the amount of trade the US does with China. I happened to be working my way through the entire S&H series when I stumbled upon this interview. I'm also a car buff and will make a point to follow the intriguing story of Hemingway's car. Wow, David Soul gave up his American citizenship after permanently moving to England. I could handle him moving to England, his preference. . . . . . giving up his American citizenship? No. Then he comments that Cuba has mechanics that can make anything work. . . . . . . . . they supposedly could too, back decades ago. Later David touches on lies about where car parts from America are going, in order to get them shipped to Cuba so same mechanics can work them in to a car. . . . . . . all because Hemmingway owned it. The title & interview are both disappointing.
He did not give up his US citizenship--This project is one of many he has
documented-he has always tried to help when "Rules"dont make sense
This car is for the people of Cuba and passionate fans of Hemmingway
