I really enjoyed watching this clip. I used to have his poster on my wall in the 70's and last summer met him while he was on his holiday in Greece. He is such a nice man, very friendly and extremely popular on the island - all you would hope someone you hold high in your esteem to be.

The funny thing about how i became a David soul fan had 0 to do with starsky and hutch it was actually Salem's lot and his debut album this was between 2004/2006 but Joshua Bolt in here come the brides and pritt from dogpound shuffle is what really did it for me And the true connection came in 2015 when I started following him on Twitter it was eight good years while it lasted doesn't mean i miss him any less he will always be a part of my life and the great memories i shared with my grandmother whom was also a fan i really miss them 😢

Hi - the second lady seen *is* Sally James. Chris Tarrant however is nowhere to be seen! There is paul gambacini and the guy in yellow is just a music 'expert' commentator type person. Lola
What about "Here Come The Brides"???? He wasn't an unknown in 1975???!!! I knew who David Soul was in 1969 .... I'm sure Spelling had heard of him before he came up with the idea of Starsky & Hutch! Also, the clips of "Don't Give Up On Us" are sped up a bit ... just saying.... :)
I am aware of this. I also know he was sentenced for it and underwent a treatment programme. I don't excuse or condone that part of his history, but this video is a record of his music and film origins rather than a pretence at proclaiming him a saint. I'm a little confused as to why you have searched out a video on him just to add these comments, but each to their own. Lola
