People may see a 40 year old pedaling down the street on a "kids bike", but when im biking down the street this is whats going through my head still in 2023 😅
Amen mate. On location in Cochrane, Alberta Canada while filming. Also Bonds Skyfall, in London prior to the olympics. Never forgot where I came from. Today as a 50 year old sport bike rider, seeing kids on bmx, I hold a hand for them to get a free ride. Not that I’m the garbage truck, just never forgot the inspirations. Also riding motocross bikes, Myckey Demond era, of freestyle riding. Well today these kids wanna get paid for what we pioneered.

I'm 20yrs old, and I've ridden scooters and skated (skateboards) my whole life, and at 20, I've decided to mainly focus on 80s Flatland to take place for my dad. He's done this since he was like 15 or even younger, and he is 50 now and can't do it because of Personal Doctor stuff. So I'm taking he place and learning Flatland, and oh my, it is so much fun. I can't stop riding my Custom bike I spent like 1200$ USD or more into haha.
Born 92 I was a kid watching this cause of my older brothers. My grandma used to dub all these old tapes and give it to us to watch. All I wanted to do is go outside and do a indo on my BMX
I am 42 years old and remember being so fearless on my bmx bike😮. "GT Performer". I would watch this movie (VHS) every after school, the ride like there was no tomorrow 😎.
@@robertcarlosllenarizas7987 While Eddie did most of riding for the star character it was actually a lesser known rider who did the back flip. Jose “DeCat” Yanez. At the time Rad was made, he was the first or at least one of the first to actually pull off a back flip on a BMX bike. I recall reading about the flip in BMX Action in the early 80s, predating Rad.
Loved it!! It's what made my childhood memorable and colorful like the 80s. Oh and I has a Redline Vector. 3 piece custom crank N MAG wheels !!! Heck yeah's 😮🎉😊😂
Like many of us this was the movie we watched before gettting Gnarly with my 10-13 year old friends. Believe me, we were Rad! To this day hum it while im being awesome. My son just turned 8. Today im taking a bluetooth speaker to the tracks! Its really fun to share and pass on this Legendary power inducing tune to a younger generation.
One autumn day, I skipped school and went to the local video rental place; the woman who worked there never batted an eyelash at a high school kid renting a video in the middle of the day. I miss her, she was... Very nice to me.

Never heard of this movie (I'm an 80s kid) but I KNOW John Farnham's iconic voice. He is an absolute Australian legend with a beast of a vocal range. He is called "The Voice" in Aus, and he can sing any genre. Might have to watch this movie now!
This song was written by Lenny Macaluso & Gloria Sklerov. Collectively, they also wrote songs for Tina Turner, Rita Coolidge, The Temptations, Chromeo, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, The Carpenters, Dusty Springfield, Nana Mouskouri, Steve Wariner, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Rogers, Anne Murray, Tanya Tucker and Cher among many others. They also wrote songs for many huge film soundtracks like Spaceballs, Boogie Nights and Transformers. Record labels owe these two writers millions of dollars they will likely never see a penny of and both of them wrote these songs out of passion for musical expression. John Farnham and the studio musicians who played on this delivered it with fire. They obviously knew that it was a brilliant song and put everything they had into it. And that folks... is why this song is so great. Does anyone know who the guitarist and keyboardist are on this recording of the song Thunder In Your Heart? They are fantastic musicians with really great and unique sounds.
