As one or the writers of this song I thought you might like to know that it was written specifically for that scene in the movie. We were thrilled that John recorded the song. The record had a lot of power so we were really pleased with his performance. It was a fun record to get! Glad you all like it!

I’m listening to this as I’m Australian where John lives. He’s sung here for 50 years via records and mega live concerts. John is now 73 and recovering from an cancer operation which lasted over 11 hours. He’s slowly improving, he’ll never sing again sadly but hopefully make a full recovery. 50 years of John performing live and recording, we have been so blessed here in Australia💞
*John Farnham has had a number one record in Australia in five consecutive decades from the 1960s to 2000s, with number one singles in the 1960s, '70s and '80s and number one albums in the 1980s, '90s and 2000s.

I'm African American and I didn't grow up listening to Rock but let me tell you I get chills when I hear the sound tracks from this movie!! I was 5yrs old when the movie came out but I don't think I actually saw the movie until 8 or 9yrs old. My older cousin introduced it to me. He was the one who tought me how to fix bikes and do tricks. But this movie was on repeat daily. And yes I was trying to do every trick in the movie 🤣 But when I hear the music now I can really hear the mastery in the lyrics and production of each track. It really captured the essence, soul, heart and vibe of that era. 💯 ❤️

    LYRICS:
You're taking a chance, risking it all
For the thrill of the moment
Taking a stand, you ain't gonna fall
    You've always known it
    They're dying to shake you,
Trying their best to break you
And though the going is rough, you're going home as a hero
'Cause there's thunder in your heart
Every move is like a lightning
It's the power you feel when you get your taste of the glory
    There's a fire gonna start
And you know they're going under
You can light the dark when they hear your heart of thunder.
Cry of the wind, spirit of fire
    The heart of a lion
    Taking control, burning desire
    Your flame never dying
    Don't lose that feeling
    Don't ever stop believing
There's one more moment of truth and you're gonna face it
'Cause there's thunder in your heart
Every move is like a lightning
It's the power you feel when you get your taste of the glory
    There's a fire gonna start
And you know they're going under
You can light the dark when they hear your heart of thunder.
When they hear your heart of thunder.
'Cause there's thunder in your heart
And you know they're going under
You can light the dark when they hear your heart of thunder.
There is thunder in your heart
And you know they're going under
You can light the dark when they hear your heart of thunder

I literally climb trees and wrestle them to the ground with a chainsaw as part of my job, in the heart of the Derecho blasted Midwest. Think: endless life-threatening damage to all of the trees in my town of ~150,000. I do shit the boss thought I couldn't do, using my brains, my brawn, and my badass ninja-nature.
I approve of eating great big amounts of steak, (and heart and liver and brain,) and I heartily approve of your movie project. I'll pass your idea on up to Chuck, bro.

This scene, the qualifying race on the impromptu track, was the best scene of the movie. Those stunt riders straight up SENT IT!! The home stretch when he pulls into a qualifying spot off pure leg power.. that dude was about to shred the crackshaft on that bike, whoever that was he had LEGS.. SO SICK. LEGENDARY SCENE, LEGENDARY SONG.

      Search Frozenkiss RAD ETSY
They’re kinda pricey @ $190, but it’s made to order and the quality of the stitching is pretty damn good. Keep in mind, I bought it a couple of years ago, when it was hard to find RAD the movie and RAD merch anywhere. Now you can find both all over the web. 80s tees .com has RAD merch too. Good luck BMX brother.
