    When Donna died, a light went out across the world. One of the finest singers that the world has ever seen, & undoubtedly the true Queen of Disco - we will never ever see the likes again.

That one will "be back again and again and again." Webb created this masterpiece. Miss Summer is still with us. This is living proof.

      I understand what you are saying, but Miss Donna really didn't want to be known as the Queen of Disco--she wanted to be recognized for her talent and her ability to perform in various music genres.     I had the honor to be at a Donna Summers concert in Nashville TN at the Symphony Hall. When you heard Ms. Summers sing you knew God was present. R.I.P. 🙏

    I remember this song was one of best of the late 70s especially in the roller skating rinks that were hugely popular. One of her best songs and sadly she left us too young

    I just had the honor of leaving this great woman’s final resting place. She’s interred about 15 mins from my house. Paid my respects and played this clip. I danced, and she being with me in spirit danced right along with me. So I can say we danced and had a good time. I’m in love with her and her music, even though I wasn’t born til ‘84. She’s resting but this good music still lives on. This clip is one my songs to play while I’m on the treadmill. Helps me get a good workout in!! I love you Mrs. Summer Sudano!! Keep resting in peace 🙏🏾❤️

    The conductor is another highlight of this show! The look at his face: the intense concentration and the passionate look in his eyes, his potent gestures while conducting, his whole face oozes of the satisfaction he is feeling...the sweet smile at his mouth expresses the almost orgasmic experience he is having while conducting what irrefutable is the most exceptional musical performance of his life! :-)

    Wow those were the days,all the discos in NYC I Hear singing like this reminds me the way we dressed behave and party to dawn as a matter of fact there was an after hours and it would close at 1:00 pm I feel privileged to have been young those days they will never comeback

      I totally agree with you. There are several versions of her on u tube singing this song, but this longer version is so great and fun to watch, she could have made a 30 minute video of this song and I wouldn't miss a minute of it, it's so great.

    My mom listened to her faithfully, until she passed and then some, I'm 44 my mother introduced us to a variety of music, she told us to keep an open mind, we did and listened to all music at least once, Donna Summer was the 1 and only queen.

    I took my two kids & wife to Atlantic City Resorts Casino to see her concert. Never sat down. 2500 folks just singing & dancing. Incredible voice & concert. My two kids 12 & 10 knew every song word for word. What a show.

      Let me tell you. I had to excuse myself from my friends that saw her live at a private venue. I started to cry so badly, It will be one of the greatest moments of my life.

    Before I go I am in my late 50s as a retired Raver for nearly 27yrs 2 weeks ago I got called a Disco dancer to me a person doesn't get really get on the dance floor anymore I will take that as a compliment

    Effortless power voice - truly gifted to sing.Sadly singers like this will never be heard again.No other female will compare to her range and power.They dont make them like Ms Summer anymore.

    Who can’t love ❤️ Donna Summer, my goodness she was the Maximum hit after hit and also a great painter , I had the privilege to see her in concert , she rocked that floor and put everyone to dance , I love her ❤️ and I will never get tired of listening all her songs , to me all her songs were hits and this Last Dance was ICONIC.     I was at work when I was told that Donna had died. I accomplished very little work after hearing the news. After I got off work, I told a friend that I needed a hug because my best friend had died. God bless you Donna! The world is a lesser place without you!!!!

    This song definitely marked my youth. When I went to the disco club I was looking forward to it. And when I finally listened to her, the world seemed to change. It was all joy and happiness. I miss Danna Sommer a lot.
