So true, when I was a teenager, I grew up with their music, I loved their music so much ❤️
It has been a very sad year with the passing of some of the most beautiful female vocalists. Olivia Newton John, Irene Cara, and just slightly more recently the passing of Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. Music is very personal for the listener as much as it is to the messenger. I thank them all for sharing their voices with the world, and conjuring my own emotions through the power of song. Such a feat, to be able to positively impact people in that way. They are worth so much more than the record deals. RIP.

She beyond adorable. This is real beauty right here.
C&C Phx - her beauty is about God’s gift to mankind. She’s something else! Thank you Lord for the woman you made. We could never ask for anything more, from our youth into our old age. If only we really knew how to be grateful, humble, trusting, gentle, giving, strong, always true, and protective of her and for her in the truest sense. For all our weakness, shortcomings, thoughtlessness, cruelty, impatience, and selfishness toward the incredible gift You gave us, we are sorry and ask first for Your forgiveness. Give us the strength to persevere and begin anew with a clean heart to try ever harder to cherish the woman with a love like You have for us all. And please Lord, give her a humble loving gentle heart when she, also in her human weakness, lives her life together with us. Nobody said it was going to be easy, but in spite of this cold world, it can be done with the help of God’s grace.

I lived through the 80's and realized at the time that things had improved dramatically after the mid-70's. I very much appreciated the popular culture, the dress, the political trends, the increased depth and focus on the internal and the personal, the balance between the Dionysian and the Apollonian.
The 90's saw all of this reversed as we descended into Grunge, the technocratic, a primitivism, and the shallow emptiness of a growing darkness that we can't seem to escape from.
